About the host
Hosted by Pragya Pradhan
Hi, My name is Pragya, read like "Prague," but with an "a" at the end- just like that pretty little city in Czech, which I have visited many times, charmed by the river that winds around the whole historic city. I've grown up around mountains, but I do love rivers- and that's why I find the Smokies to be ideal with its majestic mountains, charming rivers and plenty to offer. The vibes here are unbeatable to say the least. I love hosting and what better place to host than in a place you love- Tennessee! I would love to connect and hear from you too about this awesome place.
Why they chose this property
This property is a gem so close to the heart of Pigeon Forge. The place has all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay. We have it professionally cleaned maintaining Covid-protocols and extra cleaning for a safe stay. We replenish all items and are ready to communicate quickly with guests should there be a need. Above all it is a great place to stay to enjoy a peaceful time. We also have board games and cards for some fun during the stay. It's a relaxing neighborhood, and the place overlooks a river. It would be hard to believe, but the Pigeon Forge parkway is just a mile away from here. There is plenty to do so close to here not to mention fishing whenever you want. There are also the yearly car shows and plenty of dinner shows, events and adventures year round. In a few miles from here, you can visit the Smoky mountains, Dollywood, the Parrot mountain and Garden Paradise, the Island at Pigeon Forge, the Smoky Mountains Alpine Coaster, Pigeon Forge snow, plenty of restaurants and the thriving Gatlinburg downtown. Gift shops, rides for children, fairs, museums, handcrafted wood and pottery items, racing tracks, zip lining, water parks, arcades, golf, pink-jeep tours, lumberjack adventures, theatre shows, white-water rafting and so much more! It is interesting to note that the property is on Tanasi Trail- Tanasi is a Native American word meaning gathering place, and in fact, Tennessee is named after "Tanasi." Also the word "Pigeon" in Pigeon Forge derives its name from the Little Pigeon River, that runs alongside the property. As for the"Forge," there used to be an old mill that operated as an iron forge in the 1800's, and since the Little Pigeon River was at the heart of the town, the two words were combined to form- "Pigeon Forge." The old mill is still in operation for locals and visitors. The property is in a location which summarizes the experience the place has to offer- a combination of nature as well as man made wonders and fun activities for all.
