We are so glad everyone enjoyed their stay. Your family were amazing guests. We could not ask for better guests!
We knew this would be an ideal place for us, but it exceeded our expectations. All the comforts of home were thought of, and the animals were a charming bonus! The spacious outdoor areas, sauna, and game room gave us plenty of options for fun family times. If we could give this more than five stars, we would! HIGHLY recommend!

Wonder guests to stay on our property. They were able to enjoy the property inside and out. The adults were great, and the kids were such super awesome. They took amazing care of everything. We would love to have them stay again.
This was our first stay at Connie’s cabin, and we absolutely loved it! She was so helpful with answering questions before we arrived, and she was available if we needed anything during our stay. The location is perfect for riding UTV trails and hitting up all of the other Black Hills attractions. Hope to stay again someday!

First time VRBO guest family and they were amazing! The took great care of the house.
Came here for a weekend away to ride our UTVs in the hills. The location was great and had adequate parking for our large trailer. Connie and Jeff were very pleasant and helpful with lots of suggestions for anything you can imagine in the area. The house is as-pictured and had a great place for the guys to hang out and watch movies every night. Loved the property and may make this place a part of our annual trip to the hills. The animals are fun, but beware of the rooster crowing in the morning :) Thanks, Connie and Jeff!

The eggs and Blackstone go great together. We're glad your family had a great birthday get away. We're sorry you felt we didn't communicate to a 5 star rating. We do try to keep all guests informed as much a possible about everything from detours, checking in, and we leave a quick easy short welcoming / check out note for everyone.
The property description and pictures don’t do it justice! Connie and Jeff are the best host(ess) we have experienced in years of renting through VRBO. Our granddaughter fell in love with the animals and the chance to feed them. Location in the Black Hills is convenient but quiet. Property is child friendly as well. Kitchen has all the equipment and utensils necessary for family meals. The home offers multiple spaces to spend time together or have some “me time.” Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. We can’t wait to come back.
Connie and Jeff were amazing to work with. The first night Connie explained how to work with the animals and introduced us to them. The baby goats were a family favorite! Connie and Jeff always checked in with us and even chatted with some of us for a while. They have such a great property! We will be back!

The guests left the house in amazing condition. It was fun to see the family enjoy the barn animals.
This is an amazing property that our whole family really enjoyed. The location is quiet and beautiful. Perfect as a launching off point for adventures and day trips in the area. Home has wonderful amenities - excellent wifi, comfy beds and lounging areas, full kitchen plus Blackstone and grill and plenty of space for outdoor and indoor dining, with all kinds of fun extras - game room, yard games, fireplace, hot tub, binoculars for bird and wildlife viewing. Bonus was the nearby barnyard animals which provided fresh eggs and regular entertainment. Host is absolutely wonderful with suggestions and support. You won't regret planning a stay in this amazing property.

We are so glad it was an enjoyable stay. Thanks for staying in our home.
Can not overstate how positive the experience was for 8 fifty year old bike riders. Along with plenty of room in the cabin, Connie was very accommodating for the entire trip. The cabin can easily entertain all ages from children to adults.

About the host
Hosted by Connie Allen
We have lived in the hills for the last 16 years and have had to opportunity to enjoy the ammenties the area has to offer. We would now like to let others enjoy what the locals call "God's Country."
Why they chose this property
This is a great place to make some lasting family memories. From enjoying the outdoors on the trails, lake or the local attractions including Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Hwy just to name a few to a friendly game of pool and ending the day by relaxing by the outdoor propane firepit or star gazing in the hot tub.
What makes this property unique
Some unique benefits of our property are the peaceful backyard with the covered deck that at times you can hear the coyotes yowling in a distance from, to the deer that frequent our 10 acres. The gameroom has several game options to satisify everyone's game choices. The large open kitchen makes cooking an ease, or plenty of deck room to grill outside on either the gas grill or 36 inch Blackstone under a covered deck. The barn is filled with a mini donkey, goats, chickens and cats. All friendly and love getting treats. The yard has enough room for everyone to run and play. The kids can hike right out the back gate while parents relax watching them from the covered deck, sitting around the fire pit or relaxing in the hot tub.
