The space
MINIMUM AGE: 25!! SORRY NO PARTY GROUPS -NO BACHELOR OR BACHELORETTE PARTIES!!!
This adorable lake house has been in this family for numerous years. Passed down to son, they have recently spruced it up with new furnishings and quaint nostalgic lake decor! They call this the CATFISH CABIN! Enjoy your next vacation at this house on the lake!
Located off Case Rd. from Hwy. 54 and the 20mm of the main channel in Darby Cove. Central to everything by land and water!
Parking for 2 full sized vehicles, or 3 smaller max. The front door opens to the gally kitchen. All major appliances and kitchen necessities for cooking during your stay. The half bath is off the kitchen as well as the master bedroom and full bath set toward the front of the house. The master bedroom has a queen bed, closet, 2 windows, and entry to the full bath tub/shower.
The living room has a vaulted ceiling with large flat screen smart TV over the faux fireplace. Sorry no cable TV. Two full size leather sofas for comfortable seating with one sofa as a pull-out queen. The bar height table sets in the dining area with seating for 6 with a side buffet for drinkware and more. Notice the large Catfish sign! Upstairs in the loft is the queen size bed and twin beds with trundle. Check out the fun display on the shelves going up!
You may just spend most of your stay outside on the large deck! New patio table and 6 chairs with extra Adirondack seating area as well. This deck has 2 gates (magnetic closure), to the side parking area and down to the back yard and dock. The back yard has more outdoor seating, metal firepit, and charcoal grill. You have use of the dock, the owner does keep their boat in the singe bay, but you are welcome to tie up next to the dock (up to 36ft is best). There is a swim ladder for a lake swim! For the safety of all this dock has been recently rewired to all electrical code requirements.
Boat trailer parking and launching is very close at the state park PB2.

The property decorations and location are amazing ! Dock was perfect great for swimming and fishing. Location in right in the middle of plenty to do, quite neighborhood great for relaxing.

Not ideal if you have a boat. Limited parking & very hard to turn around once you get to the cabin. Would be perfect for vehicle's without boat. Highly recommend if you don't have a boat. We had a great stay & enjoyed the deck!

Nice little place. The loft wasn't the best but OK for older children a little tight for a grown teenager or adult in our opinion. nice big cove easy to manuever boat in and out of. Room for one fishing or small recreation boat. Would stay again.

Very cute, clean cottage. My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One thing I'd like to note, we stayed during the off season. Exiting the dead-end street where the cottage is located can be a bit tricky, so I'm not sure what it would be like when there's more traffic.

The Catfish cabin’s -sister’s getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Catfish cabin. We sat on the deck every day. The loft was too hot to sleep in when we first got there, someone had turned on the heat at 80! (They ask the AC be set at 80, which is very reasonable, this was someone’s error). So one of us slept in the downstairs bedroom, (I am disabled so this was perfect for me), and my sister slept on the couch which was very comfy. I think it was a pull out, but she slept on it as a couch. The house is adorable! So pristine! Clean and friendly and inviting. The bed was wonderful. Very comfortable place. Oh there is only the 1 shower in the downstairs bedroom. The other bathroom, also on level 1, is a 1/2 bath. No bath upstairs. Really cute cabin!

This property is a tiny, cutely decorated perfect place to stay. It's bad in a no wake covewhoch is nice. We had our Bass boat tied to the side of their dock with no problems at all.
