About this property

Rivermac is a luxury river cabin overlooking gentle rapids on the Toccoa River, across from the Chattahoochee National Forest.

This is a modern version of a classic river house with the vibe of an urban loft. Stunning views of the river are visible from nearly every room. Furnishings are comfortably modern with a contemporary blend of clean lines and natural materials. Large expanses of glass bring the outdoors in with views of the rushing river below and majestic evergreens reaching blue sky in the forest beyond.

The main level open floor plan features walls of glass soaring to a peak of over 30 feet. The jetted hot tub, with a custom built, multi-level surround, is located on a private covered deck open to the river and forest views. Architectural details such as sliding barn doors, subway tile, pipe railings, etc…all contribute to the ambiance.

Rivermac

This house is beautiful, the area is quiet, and it’s in a perfect spot for traveling to nearby cities/towns. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. We went to Chattanooga, TN and Helen, Ga while we visited and didn’t mind driving at all, the scenery is exquisite!

Weekend getaway

RiverMac was absolutely amazing! The view of the river from every room was beautiful. House had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to get away! We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful cabin on River

My husband myself and my two kids really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have a real fireplace and all the wood provided. The sound of the river rushing by was beautiful and of course the area was nice with hiking. The hot tub wasn’t working well, but the owner was apologetic and is replacing it so I think anyone else coming will have a new hot tub to use. Overall great experience and a peaceful one.

Restful weekend away

Enjoyed a nice long weekend away with friends. Fall weather was perfect for fires inside and at the fire pit next to river. Loved the open floor plan on middle floor with bedrooms upstairs and down. We spent some time in town shopping and eating at some great local places, and grilled a delicious steak followed by a dip in hot tub. Quick communication with its owners before and during stay. Would definitely love to come back.

Peaceful relaxing unique house

A lovely home on Toccoa River with rushing water that is perfect for enjoying coffee and cocktails on the deck. Many good restaurants and shopping available 20 minutes away in Blue Ridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Rivermac Rocks!

Big, beautiful home on the riverbank. Short drive to a quaint downtown with lots of shops and quality places to eat. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Blue Ridge, we golfed, we went to a winery, and we sat and relaxed in the river. We had a wonderful stay.

Relaxing Toccoa Riverfront Family Vacation

My family of four had a fantastic six-night stay. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, beautiful views, and tubing down the river right off the front porch. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook most of our meals. The river was easy to access and literally steps from the front door. We walked upriver a bit and put in tubes that we purchased from the Blue Ridge Walmart. The location is optimal for some amazing local hikes and not too far from town for grocery shopping, etc.. Everything was clean and as described on the property listing. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Such a fun time on the River!

This property is just as it’s pictured and the river is truly your front yard. We had enough amenities to get us through our stay. We spent more time at the cabin than planned because it was so beautiful and relaxing. Location is within 15 minutes of town. We went horseback riding, golfing, river tubing and hiking all within 30 minutes or less. The owners are very friendly and communication with them was always prompt. Thanks for sharing your home away from home with us!

Beautiful location

The property is in one of the nicest waterfront locations we’ve stayed. Right across the road from the Toccoa River. The home would have been perfect except for the level of cleaning it was lacking upon our arrival. Without getting into specifics there were a couple of sanitation items that should have not been overlooked. We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and would rate the cleanliness at 2 out of 5. Aside from the interior, and I cannot blame the owners for this, but the pollen outside made everything unusable. I had to clean off a couple Adirondack chairs just to sit down outside. They did remain usesably clean for a couple days, which made it seem like there had been no attempt before we arrived to clean them. As I said the home itself is very nice and in a beautiful location. Other than that we would have enjoyed going back.

An amazing weekend stay

My best friends and I decided to have a relaxing girl’s trip to bond and work on creative projects. This was the perfect accommodation for us and was better than the listing does it justice. Olivier (co-host) was very responsive to our questions and the cabin is well kept and stocked with all your needs. Would definitely recommend to others and will be planning another stay in the future.
