About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms + 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Beds at the Blue Willow are top of the line quality for your comfort. With down comforters that will keep you toasty in winter and high thread count cotton sheets that are cool and crisp in warmer weather. Synthetic, hypoallergenic bedding is available upon request. Most folks find our mountain climate divine with over 280 days of sunshine and only rare extremes. The Blue willow is a two bedroom, one with a king, the other a queen size bed, sorry no pullout available. There is a large front yard that is yours to use. A table and chairs to seat 4 and more outdoor chairs can be provided for larger gatherings. There is a weber charcoal grill off of the back door patio, and a larger gas grill can be provided upon request.

The kitchen is warm and homey, and fully equipped for cooking. Blue Willow is furnished with a mixture of Montana lifestyle art and antiques. Your kids can walk around the corner to the park and city pool in the summer or around the other corner for sledding in the winter. It is walking distance, or a short bike ride, from many of Bozeman's best attractions and would be a great place to stay while checking out MSU for your High School graduate or a more personal way to accommodate out of town guests for a graduation or wedding.

Bozeman is a unique and friendly quintessential Northern Rockies college town dedicated to the arts, live music, locally grown food and endless year round outdoor recreation. Located in a historic neighborhood, the Blue Willow is just a few blocks away from walking trails, farmers markets, art festivals, live music and only 4 blocks from our vibrant downtown with fabulous restaurants, galleries and great shopping.

Montana is known to be 'The Last Best Place' and we have aimed to make your stay here memorable.

About Terra Hall

I was born in Bozeman and after being gone for over 10 years, I've returned to this beautiful place, which I am proud to call my hometown. I've spent years rediscovering where I am from by exploring surrounding areas to hike, fish and camp. I feel very much a part of the local community, as a local, a native, a property owner and a small business owner ( I own a Western Boutique on main street) and so I am invested in Bozeman's growth and preservation as well as its history. I now enjoy this opportunity to share this very special place with guests from around the world. I consider myself privileged to live here in 'mountain surround sound' and continue to be in awe of it's beauty and wildlife. I sincerely hope to make your visit or vacation special with the comforts, amenities and location of the Blue Willow Guest House!

Why Terra Hall chose Yellowstone Country

The rental is in the very heart of this mountain town and is truly walking distance to everything, even the mountains that surround us. The rental is like a very cozy cottage that offers both privacy and social interactions with the locals who are friendly and helpful. You will be spoiled by this location and all the amenities Bozeman has to offer, even a neighborhood grocery store and newly finished public library. As a college town, there are more educated people living here per capita than most other western towns and people are polite, creative, and energetic. The outgoing vibe of those who call Bozeman home is palpable and tangible! You won't go home without wonderful memories and experiences.

What makes this house unique

Location, location, location! One can walk or bike everywhere. Groceries, entertainment, restaurants, art, parks, trails, mountains, rivers, farmer's markets, sledding, XC skiing, the university, museums, theaters, fishing, biking, hiking, shopping and all the seasonal festivals are only a few blocks away! Music on Main, Sweet Pea Festival, Rodeos, Art Walks, Christmas Stroll, and two Farmer's Markets are all walking distance from this house. Bridger Bowl is only 16 miles away up the hill and offers some of this country's best skiing and spectacular views and Big Sky is less than an hour away. This is a very welcoming, gracious and friendly neighborhood. Bozeman is a very special place and we think you will agree.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Graduation celebration- great location to entertain, walk to town and campus. We all enjoyed the yard, house and oh, the beds! And of course it was wonderful to celebrate a daughter graduating from college. Many thanks!

A home away from home

  • 5 of 5

My family spent a memorable 6 days at Terra's home in Bozeman. The kitchen was fully equipped to allow us to make delicious family dinners and our traditional 20 layer Christmas cake. The beds were comfortable, and the living room invited lounging. We enjoyed walking the neighborhoods and the park. Terra has made the house feel homey and warm. I hope to rent in the future. Carol

We have a son and his family in Bozeman and we have often stayed in motels. They has been fine. This past week we had a week long reunion and staying in the Blue Willow was perfect. It is an easy walk to main street and the Public Library. It was a beautiful walk to our son's home. The bed provided needed sleep and it all worked out good. Thanks.

Great Property Great Value Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We really thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Willow. It was clean and well-maintained and the owner was a pleasure to work with, generously offering us a very early check in when it turned out our flight got in much earlier than anticipated.

The only very small and minor recommendation I'd make would be to place the bathroom mirror higher up. I'm 6'2" and the only way for me to use the mirror for shaving was to actually get down on my knees to shave! But hey, it gave my my wife and family a good laugh, so all was good in the end:)
