About Terra Hall

I was born in Bozeman and after being gone for over 10 years, I've returned to this beautiful place, which I am proud to call my hometown. I've spent years rediscovering where I am from by exploring surrounding areas to hike, fish and camp. I feel very much a part of the local community, as a local, a native, a property owner and a small business owner ( I own a Western Boutique on main street) and so I am invested in Bozeman's growth and preservation as well as its history. I now enjoy this opportunity to share this very special place with guests from around the world. I consider myself privileged to live here in 'mountain surround sound' and continue to be in awe of it's beauty and wildlife. I sincerely hope to make your visit or vacation special with the comforts, amenities and location of the Blue Willow Guest House!

Why Terra Hall chose Bozeman

The rental is in the very heart of this mountain town and is truly walking distance to everything, even the mountains that surround us. The rental is like a very cozy cottage that offers both privacy and social interactions with the locals who are friendly and helpful. You will be spoiled by this location and all the amenities Bozeman has to offer, even a neighborhood grocery store and newly finished public library. As a college town, there are more educated people living here per capita than most other western towns and people are polite, creative, and energetic. The outgoing vibe of those who call Bozeman home is palpable and tangible! You won't go home without wonderful memories and experiences.

What makes this house unique

Location, location, location! One can walk or bike everywhere. Groceries, entertainment, restaurants, art, parks, trails, mountains, rivers, farmer's markets, sledding, XC skiing, the university, museums, theaters, fishing, biking, hiking, shopping and all the seasonal festivals are only a few blocks away! Music on Main, Sweet Pea Festival, Rodeos, Art Walks, Christmas Stroll, and two Farmer's Markets are all walking distance from this house. Bridger Bowl is only 16 miles away up the hill and offers some of this country's best skiing and spectacular views and Big Sky is less than an hour away. This is a very welcoming, gracious and friendly neighborhood. Bozeman is a very special place and we think you will agree.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Graduation celebration- great location to entertain, walk to town and campus. We all enjoyed the yard, house and oh, the beds! And of course it was wonderful to celebrate a daughter graduating from college. Many thanks!

Great stay as always

  • 5 of 5

We recently returned from our 3rd visit to the Blue Willow guest house and have booked a 4th trip. It has become a home away from home for us. It is clean, well appointed, quiet and a great home base for activities in and around Bozeman. When people ask our 5 year old where we went on vacation, he says “the blue house!”. Terra is a great host and continues to make improvements to the property. We were happy to see that the WiFi strength was upgraded this time around. Looking forward to our next visit!

Cozy and small, but comfortable

  • 4 of 5

This was a nice house that was comfortable and close to town. Well stocked kitchen and lots of blankets. I would stay here again. The place is somewhat small and 4 people was a little crowded.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed staying at the Blue Willow house in December! The house is very cozy and warm and has everything one might need! The sidewalks were kept clear (it snowed almost every day!) and the parking was right at the front door! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Bozeman!

Barely an hour and a half from Yellowstone Park, Bozeman is the ideal jumping off point for premier wildlife viewing and you can choose to get there from two different roads. One follows the Yellowstone River, the other follows the Gallatin River and you can fish your way down to the park and back either way, or do a complete loop and see both river valleys. 20 minutes from the house up Hyalite Canyon there's more fishing, boating, XC skiing, ice fishing, ice climbing, hiking and camping.
