Great Family Vacation

We had a great time. The pool was nice and we had easy access to the beach. The house was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We had 14 family members and everyone enjoyed their stay. A few things that would make it better: more teaspoons, more storage containers for leftovers, Hot tub was too hot to use (not sure how to adjust), dryer took a long time to dry clothes, more than 2 kitchen towels would be helpful.

Wonderful place and location

we stayed over Labor Day weekend with extended family with about 14 people. We had a great time. It was a great place with easy access to the beach. This is a perfect place and will try to stay there again

Everything was beautiful and cleanly, as shown. Property management was excellent and responsive. Plenty of silly essentials like garbage bags, tp, paper towels etc which has rarely been our experience in other properties, even high end ones like this.

Great Comfortable Clean Stay

Stayed here for a family wedding, the house had great decor, comfortable beds and was very clean. The location is on a quiet road and felt very private. Wish it was a little warmer to use the outdoor breakfast nook but loved it anyway! Communication with the property was very easy and they were very kind. Thank you!

AMAZING

Had the BEST stay in folly for my bachelorette! The house has everything you could ever need and more. Perfect location (steps to beach & town), super spacious, amazing outdoor spaces (especially the pool & porches) plus towels & chairs for beach. Check in & check out was seamless and communication was great. Will absolutely be back in the future. HIGHLY recommend :)

Comfy and quiet

The house accommodates well for a large group, good equipped kitchen , nice decor, beds very comfortable!!The only negative is the main floor and 3 rd floor bedrooms do not have closets or no furniture dresser to put your clothes, so you live out of your suitcase… take wrinkle release spray… still loved it

Great Trip!

The property is modern, clean, and well stocked. You can tell that they thought of everything! The kitchen supplies were endless. There was lots of space for our large group of adults - we never ran out of towels, hangers, or pillows. I’d gladly book this property again!

Location is perfect. Directly across the street from beach access. Lovely renovations and layout. Minor issues like a door not closing (off hinges), hot water on main floor shower would not get hot. We have been coming for 4 years straight with 4 families and 8 children. This house was the best.

July 4th vacay

We truly enjoyed this homes beauty. The remolding of this home was beautifully done, and so much space for us all to enjoy. Our only flaw we highly recommend for this property is it could use a weekly spray for the mosquitoes. We couldn’t enjoy the porches outside on any level more less the front porch rockers and ran to the pool to get in. Definitely was disheartening. Great location though and we have lasting memories.

The Busy B’s try South Carolina

As longtime Carolla NC vacationers we decided to try something different. The house was great for a busy family of seven adults and four kiddos 7 and under. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Children loved the third floor space with table and chairs and the chair swing. We would have taken more outdoor showers had there been a bit more privacy overhead - it’s a longtime tradition for us. Would love to see some small chests of drawers added to a couple of the bedrooms - for the luxuries of the home I don’t like living out of a suitcase. Fridge and ping pong table in the carport was a nice surprise. We thought the pool would be too small but it was perfect for the children, they had the best time! Walk to the beach was very easy and wow, what a beach! So different than OBX. Soft sand, wide expanse, warm ocean water and not as rough as we’ve been accustomed to. Starfish and hermit crabs and of course turtle nests for the children to learn about and observe. Dog friendly so we brought ours along, they enjoyed morning walks on the beach but probably won’t bring them to this house again, as short dogs need more grassy areas to do their business. It all worked out. They pass thru window was a big hit for the kids as we played restaurant with it. So much laughter and giggles. Backing up to wetlands gave us so much privacy, but by weeks end we had a small caterpillar invasion on the front door/porch. Will definitely come back.

You can't go wrong with this property or with Folly Beach

Beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious home across the street from the beach. Our group of 7 loved staying here in late September. The property management company was great at communicating, and check in and check out were a breeze. The house has many stairs, but there is a first floor bedroom with bath, three additional bedrooms on the second floor and 3 more beds (2 in one large room) on the third floor. The pool area is nice although we didn't use it much due to all the other fun things to do while in Folly. We never tried the hot tub, but it is located in a private space adjacent to the pool. I thought I'd share a few tips for those traveling to Folly or this property for the first time. Recommend you bring your own shampoo/conditioner and you may need to purchase paper items while staying. There are hairdryers in each bathroom which was terrific. The local market, Bert's, is cute and quaint and open 24 hours. We highly recommend that you rent a golf cart during your stay to tool around town. Folly Beach Golf Rentals was terrific and very easy to work with--you will want a street-legal cart if you want to drive on Center Street (main street) or after dark. Highly recommend the eco dolphin Tour from Flipper Finders--Captain Chloe is amazing! Dinner at Ritas, Taco Boy, Loggerheads were wonderful. We loved the brunch at Lost Dog and the Lunch at Lowlife and BLU were both wonderful too. I can't say enough about this property or about Folly Beach--a slice of heaven!
