Perched atop a scenic hill in Sonoma's wine country, this one-bedroom, one-bath retreat offers stunning views of Green Valley's redwoods and vineyards. Relax on the private deck, explore nearby wineries, and embrace the peaceful beauty of nature. Whether you're sipping local wines or enjoying the farm-to-table cooking, this idyllic hideaway is the perfect escape for rest and rejuvenation.

The property located in 23 acres of Redwood Forest, with a 1 bedroom with King bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa in he living room. The private outdoor deck provides extended living and entertaining space with a beautiful view over the tree tops.

There is a shared driveway for the neighboring residences but the flower and vegetable gardens are open for exploring.

Kitchen: The fully equipped gourmet kitchen features ample working space and a gas range. Extend your culinary experience to the private deck with the gas grill and dining area. Kitchen comes fully stocked and included a 12-cup coffee pot, Nespresso Next machine with Aerofrother, a large Vitamix and Airfryer.

The Living area has a leather sofa (sleeper) ottoman and work area in front of a gas stove for the colder months and includes a Wi-Fi connected TV, games and books. The dining table seats 4. You can enjoy the openness and accessibility to private deck through the 2 large sliding doors. The property security features includes camera monitoring of the gate.

Beautiful artist house in the hills

The property is as advertised - stunning and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Would be perfect for two couples looking for a retreat. The gardens are amazing and the pool - while cold in the spring - was picture perfect. The well stocked gourmet kitchen was a treat as well. Truly a lovely and special place!

Beautiful Tuscan style villa…minus the 12 hour flight

We loved the hot tub, the views, the beautifully appointed home, comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. So many vacation rentals these days have become run of the mill, this one is truly special and is an artist's masterpiece.

Amazing House

Like staying in an astoundingly comfortable art gallery! Well-appointed, quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature. Booking and checking in/out was easy; host and long-term tenants were very chill. Highly recommend (but not at the same time we want to stay there again 😉).

Breathtaking

Best vrbo we have stayed at! The landscape and views are amazing. The location is perfect, just far enough from a town but not to far if you wanted to go enjoy the town and grab something to eat. Kitchen is set up with everything you need. But the pool and the gardens make you not want to leave. Plus we loved how the house was decorated with all the stain glass and art!

Absolute Gem

This is a gorgeous house tucked away atop a steep winding road. It was a wonderful escape and home base for our wine country adventures. The kitchen is so well appointed that we made dinner each night to pair with our delicious wine finds from the day. We hope to return one day provided too many people don't find out how great it is. The host is very responsive and communicated everything that was needed.

Amazing views at Owl's Hoot

This fabulous home has cozy furniture, eclectic artwork, super comfortable beds and a great kitchen with all the tools one needs. Our host, Jarrod, was communicative and friendly. The home is located in a tranquil, beautiful forest with gorgeous views across the Anderson Valley. Our Sonoma County relatives who visited were all impressed by house and view. The sweet town of Graton is a short drive away with galleries, a small grocery store, a tasting room and two delicious restaurants. We highly recommend Owl's Hoot.

Spectacular wine country property

We chose to get away during the rainy week the weather did not deter from the amenities of this fabulous wine country property and its centralized location to Many Russian River wineries. We especially loved the views throughout the property and were able to enjoy the break in the weather to go hiking through the woods of the property. We were surprised to see so many creeks and streams and had fun foraging mushrooms. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. The Keurig coffee machine in the bedroom was a very nice touch. We will definitely be back in the summer for that amazing pool!

The Owl’s Hoot is a wonderful property, remote yet accessible to Graton, Sebastopol and Forestville. The house sits at the top of a hill, with unobstructed views. Pool area is lovely. Well stocked kitchen and the best guest guidebook I’ve ever encountered in a rental property. Access to the house requires going up steep stairs so not recommended for people with mobility constraints. Great property manager. Responsive and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem filled with delightful surprises

We loved our 3 night stay - wished we had more time. The gardens are beautiful and tasty. We incorporated lots of what we found in the veggie garden into our home cooked meals - prepared in a fully stocked kitchen. The home is spacious and bright, with many board games and activities to keep our tweens curious and active. They loved the pool, even if it was cold. We enjoyed the architectural splendor and details of custom stain glass and tiles throughout. Delightful for birdwatching or a nature hike - we saw a fox, quails, humming bird moths, and more. The views are breathtaking - so much space to immerse and surround yourself in nature. Wineries are nearby and it's so quiet and secluded at the end of the road. Beds are very comfortable. Checkin and checkout was a breeze and Jarrod is exceptionally considerate and kind. We will return as soon as we can.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful, so peaceful and beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for making anything you desire. Our dog enjoyed exploring the property and really enjoyed being on the porch. Our hosts were very responsive and made sure we had a good experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem in the Russian River Valley

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Located on a mountaintop, with a 30 acre property, it is everything that it was advertised to be. Jarrod was great with his communication and available to help us with anything we needed. We highly recommend this property for a Russian River stay!

Heaven on Earth

This was last minute discovery, what a weekend ( so great we extended it). The house is amazing, the pool and waterfall….THE VIEWS. It felt like I had arrived in Provence. Once we settled in, we discovered more charming details ( outside bathtub) the hosts were immediate with my questions. My son and his girlfriend joined us, we didn't leave the house/grounds first two days… cannot wait to return ….. lucky to have found this gem

Fantastic getaway

We had an amazing stay. The main house was more than enough for our small family of three and, with the cottage, there is plenty room for more. Jarrod was a great host, and the house was very well appointed and thought out. We spent hours at the pool and enjoyed exploring the other parts of the property. Would stay again!
