Nestled between Asheville, NC and the waterfalls of Brevard, NC lies Firefly Meadows. You have 3 acres and the entire house featuring amenities like a large outdoor patio, hot tub and fire pit as well as a game room and waffle & coffee bars. We are in a prime location to see mountain attractions like Triple and High Falls, breweries like Bold Rock, wineries, and of course great food! We are 15 min to Brevard, Hendersonville, and waterfalls galore and 25 min to Asheville & Biltmore.
Here you can enjoy mountain and valley views with old growth trees and a world of amenities to keep you relaxed and entertained like a six person hot tub, newly renovated patio and fire pit, hammock & swing, waffle & coffee bar, 2 living rooms w/ 55" TVs and a game room (with air hockey, foosball, Pacman and board games).
The décor blends original vintage fixtures and wallpaper with newly remodeled finishes to create a quaint and homey feeling we hope you enjoy! There is a $50 per pet fee (max two pets) during your stay.

Great house for kids and adults

The game room was great for entertaining our kids and all of the adults. Great fire pit set up with the hot tub nearby. The property had plenty of wood for us to use so we didn’t have to worry about buying firewood. We definitely would stay again, great place.

Great house and property!

The communication with the host was great! The cleanliness and the amenities were really nice. The hot tub on these cold winter nights along with the waffle bar and coffee station in the morning that were all included were such a nice touch. The fully fenced yard gave us peace of mind that our dog was safe and comfortable running around. Overall great stay and would definitely stay again!

Very Comfortable

It was very comfortable and set up well! The pictures were spot on and we loved the forrpit area and hot tub. It was nice to have a fenced in yard for our pup. There were really clear directions before and signage there which made it easy. Mills River Brewery was very close and was a nice afternoon spot with music and really good food. Would highly recommend!

The perfect getaway!

This home was the perfect getaway. It was super clean, had all the amenities of home and more, and centrally located to all the local attractions. You can tell they really care about their property and want their guests to have the best experience which makes a difference when renting a vacation home. Our family had enough space to enjoy and relax in without feeling on top of each other when we were not out and about. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location

Tucked in the quaint town of Mills River this property boasts beautiful views and amenities for the entire family. The house is older but you can tell the owner took extra effort to make it comfortable. This property had a huge fire pit and a hot tub. There are many breweries in the area for quick access or Asheville was only 30 min away. The beds were comfortable the game room and waffle bar were a favorite of our kids. Host had great communication! We will definitely stay at this property again and would recommend.

Exceeds expectations

My family and I stayed here for a few days and let me tell you, this was the best rental we have stayed in. We come to the area every April and this house by far was our favorite. The yard is so peaceful and large and well kept. We loved the swings the most. The sunroom was our favorite place to hang out at nighttime because of the comfortable seating and the large windows. The bathrooms are a bit tight but my 6’5 275lb father was able to use them so it was fine. I never felt like we were being watched or bothered. The host answered questions so quickly and grocery/shopping is less than 20 min away. I could go on and on but this place was the most wonderful getaway for our family. We barely left the property. We felt 110% safe. Highly recommend staying here!!!

The property was very clean and the host was extremely welcoming and responsive. We had no issues during our stay, but she did check in to make sure that we didn’t need anything. We absolutely loved the fully fenced in backyard for our two dogs. The hot tub, Foosball table and swing in the backyard were big hits with our kids. We also really enjoyed the waffle bar. Great location close to Pisgah national forest and downtown Brevard. Would definitely stay here again!

This property has wonderful old growth trees, beautiful pastoral views and provides a large fenced in back yard for family, friends and fur babies to play and relax with a six person hot tub and newly renovated patio and fire pit.

The cottage is located in the heart of Mills River and convenient to so many wonderful activities:
* 10 min to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest full of hiking, fly fishing, cycling, mountain biking, waterfalls and tubing down the crystal clear Davidson River
*20 minutes to the infamous Sliding Rock
* 20 min to Dupont State Forest with more waterfalls, hiking and mountain biking
* 7-18 min to Sierra Nevada Brewing, Bold Rock Cidery, Burning Blush Brewery Mills River Brewing and the quaint downtown areas of Brevard or Hendersonville (the Asheville of 20 years ago)
* 30 minutes to ziplining, whitewater tubing or rappelling waterfalls in the Green River Gorge
* 8 minutes to a very large and well stocked grocery store
* 11 minutes to Asheville airport
