Comfortable. Good location for exploring the Big Island. Street traffic and night critter noises can bother light sleepers. Lack of a stove and dining table detracts from the value of the studio.

Aloha Ken. I appreciate your feedback and Iโm glad you enjoyed your stay. In regards to the stove in the studio the zoning regulations will not allow multiple stoves in single family households. I do offer a microwave and toaster though. I hope you return to the Big Island and explore more of this beautiful island.

We stayed for one night when some bad storms were rolling in. Host let us know there were battery powered lights in case power went out. Looked like they had a lot of extra stuff to use at the beach, we just didn't end up going. Overall, good place and nice location.
Small unit, parking on street, small kitchen, located a few miles from the coast. Decent.

Aloha Paul. I appreciate your feedback of your stay with us. Yes, just to clarify the studio unit below my home and there is a kitchenette as stated in the description in the photos, but I didn want to make clear that I walk to the beach. There is a hill you have to walk down but itโs not even a half a mile for people interested in the proximity to the coastline. You can get down to a food truck to get tacos, shave ice, fresh produce, and the beach is 1.8 miles to a place called Magic Sands. Thereโs a great restaurant right on the beach also. Mahalo Kim.
Excellent first accommodations for our Hawaii stay. Unit was clean and easy to access. Kim was very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations.
Flying from the mainland I knew we just needed accommodations for a single night before our long term property was available, and since I know the area well I knew this location would work great for us.
The shower door & framing on the bathtub was a little grubby but that was truly the only drawback to our experience. We just staged there for the night before flying out of KOA.
We only stayed here one night, but it was a great stay. It was convenient to the airport and close to the restaurants and shops in Kona. I thought it was decorated nicely and had a comfortable bed. I liked the fact that I could just stay one night since we were on our way to a different part of the island the next day.
Great location and ease of checking and checkout. Comfortable bed and clean

The studio was very clean with nice beachy touches. Clean and comfortable bed and sofa. Good shower pressure. Kitchen area had adequate coffee maker and supplies. Short distance to the beach for great snorkeling and swimming.
Adorable place tastefully decorated with ocean themed artificats. The curtain, old fans and room dividers added a tropical charm. Only issue was with musty smell with cat hair on sofa, they need to open windows before rental.
Kim was very responsive, studio was charming, clean and pretty well appointed. Nice suburban neighborhood with some views outside. Would stay again... only negative - bed was very soft, but i think we're the only ones to mention it, most say vey comfortable...
We loved this studio. It was quiet and within easy access of the bay. The studio was roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was easy to find and parking was an ease! The lanai was wonderful to sit out on, enjoy the birds and wonderful yard.
The shower pressure was amazing! It was a little troubling to read the note about mice and roaches. A microwave would have been helpful as well. It was quite warm in the room, the fans did help.

Aloha. Thanks for the review. I comment on the critter because living on an island brings bugs that you donโt quit deal with in the mainland. Itโs just a part of living on a tropical island. On the instruction page it states where the microwave is which is behind the tablecloth under the table/desk so sorry you missed that. Otherwise I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Aloha. Kim and Scott.
