Le Petit Soleil is a big, beautiful home offered by the Little family. Welcome! We hope you will return season after season. Make yourselves at home in this spacious, newly decorated home ideal for a family or group get-together any time of year. Guests love the bright, colorful interior and the close-to-town location.

This home offers:
~ Master with a King, 2 bedrooms with Queens and a bedroom with 2 twins; plus an inflatable Queen mattress for the sunroom.
~Three full baths.
~Gas fireplaces and cozy in-floor heating that makes it extra cozy in winter
~Air Conditioning in all bedrooms to cool you in summer
~Fenced backyard with patio!
~Two town bikes are available for your use.
~Storage shed to stash your bikes, skis or kayaks,
~A short 5 block walk or ride to downtown Salida. Just 8 blocks to the river

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Great house, convenient location.

Great space and location for our trip of two families with young kids. The only negative I would note is that the third party management company made me sign a rental agreement outside of VRBO before they would provide access instructions to the rental.

Lovely salida home

Wonderful stay in this lovely home in salida. House was perfect! Nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable, and close to town. More than we had hoped for. We would stay again anytime.

Great location for home that is capable of handling 8 people. Well stocked and very comfortable.

Our family spent 4 nights and had a wonderful time spending time together at La Petite Soleil. Its a large enough home to handle 8 adults comfortably. The added bonus is having some bikes on the property to use.

The home was perfect for the 6 of us and can accommodate more. Beautifully decorated. It was a lovely experience and we all wished we had more time.

We all seemed to have a nice time. Went skiing and to the RecCentr pool a couple of times. The property was in a good location and was in a quite neighborhood.

Clean home

One of the cleanest short term rentals I have ever stayed at. Lots of amenities and fun decors. It is obviously that this home is well loved. Communication with the property management is excellent.

Weekend Ski Trip

Very clean property with all the amenities. We stayed with friends for a long weekend ski trip and had a great time. The property is well kept with everything you need to feel at home. The house was very clean and well kept. Its close to the downtown are and stores for shopping and getting groceries. It had everything we needed to feel at home. Overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful set up for a larger group and in a great location!

This property was perfect for a group of families with its’ two living spaces. So the kids could have a one area and the adults another. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment to make yummy food for a crowd. The location was absolutely awesome being close to downtown and close to the main road to explore the surrounding areas. Just 20 minutes from Monarch mountain skiing was also great. We will definitely be back and only wish it also had a hot tub!!

Very comfortable house everything we needed slightly busy street neighbors decided to play trumpets outside at 1130 at night not appreciated but we would stay there again not the fault of this homes owners

Just Amazing

This place is truly amazing. The owners have taken incredible care of the house and property and really make you feel at home during your stay. I visit Salida a couple times per year and have stayed in many rentals and this is by far the best. I hope to stay here every time from now on.

Our Christmas gathering

We loved gathering at this lovely home. My adult children and their families and one daughter that lives in Salida. We had a fabulous time and the house was perfect, spacious yet cozy.

Charming home, close to downtown

If you are planning on staying in town, this is the place to stay! It’s just as cute as the pictures and surprisingly spacious. It feels like a charming home rather than a generic rental. The location is so convenient that several mornings we walked just down the street to get coffee downtown or scones from Little Red Hen, a bakery with an outdoor oven. We took the bikes (in a small building in the backyard) on a trail that runs through town. Definitely go whitewater rafting if you go at the right time; it was the most fun (just the right amount of thrills) and beautiful (Browns Canyon) and convenient (bathrooms at the start and end) rafting experience we’ve had! We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Top notch!

We were impressed with the property! It had an older charm yet was updated with all the amenities you need. Great location that was easy to find and easy access to downtown. Plenty of room for my family of eight, too bad our trip was cut short when the governor shut down the resorts due to the virus. We will definitely book again when we come back!

Wonderful stay!!!

This house was the perfect place for our family ski vacation. It accommodated all of us so well. There was plenty of space for everyone. The house is well equipped, spacious, warm and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend this as a perfect home for a large group within walking distance to downtown Salida. We definitely hope to return!

Lovely Mountain Home

We’ve stayed in a lot of rental homes and this one is a rare find. Really felt more like a home. Cozy furniture, lovely decor from local artists. The 2 gas fireplaces really warmed up the rooms. Location is great- quick 30 minutes to Monarch for skiing. 15 minute walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances and cookware. Everyone slept great. The front twin bed was hard to heat but there were plenty of extra quilts to keep the kids warm. There are wood stairs and tile/wood floors. Not ideal for little bitty kids, but ages 10 and up it’s perfect. There are tiny animals hidden around the house that the kids loved to find. Betsy, the house sheep was a hoot and the kids loved her. Management was super responsive. I hope we can stay here again!

Family friendly

This property was a beautifully appointed, uniquely decorated, spacious rental property. It fulfilled our family needs very well. And we would stay here again. There were a few things that would have made the stay more enjoyable. Previous renters left no less than 13 piles of dog poop in the back yard which we had to pick up before letting our pup out there. Didn’t want her stepping in any of it. There was not any recycle bins in the back shed as listed in the instructions. We pulled many dirty dishes from the cupboards including glasses with lipstick marks on them so we washed every new dish, silverware, pot or pan before we used it. We felt this all fell on the cleaning crew. Maybe a new one is needed? Renters do pay a cleaning fee and having to clean the dishes before use is a bit much. Possible safety concern would be the all wood stairs. There are not any runners or strips on the edges. There were times adults as well as children slipped. No major injuries resulted as we were all being careful but it was a bit tricky. This is a small item but since we were there over the holiday a room or small area decorated for that time of year would have been nice. Obviously not needed but a nice touch. Overall a very nice place and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
