The cabin has three cozy bedrooms. On the main floor, there’s a guest room with a queen bed. Upstairs, you’ll find another queen bedroom and a third room with queen bunk beds plus a futon—perfect for kids or extra guests.

Our kitchen is ready for all your cooking adventures. It’s fully equipped with cookware, utensils, appliances, and the cabinets are stocked with condiments and seasonings for every taste. Just bring your groceries and get ready for some fun dinner time.

The living room and bedrooms are equipped with TVs loaded with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more. The kids’ room has board games, puzzles, and even vintage Wii games, making it a fun zone for kids (and nostalgic adults!).

We offer fast, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the cabin. For remote work or quiet time, there’s a working desk in the upstairs bedroom, and a second workspace tucked among the trees on the deck—perfect for those who want to work with a view.

Our large decks are perfect for stargazing and relaxing among the trees. There’s a BBQ grill and comfortable outdoor seating, plus a foldable table and chairs stored away if you need extra space for dining or group activities. Just leave a message with the host ahead of time.

Unlike most cabins in the area, Bear Lounge Cabin features rare, wide, and private parking right in front of the house, high up on the road rather than at the bottom. The flat gravel driveway makes unloading and access a breeze, even in winter.

🔐 Easy Check-In & Host Access
You’ll receive your private lock code before arrival for self-check-in. The host is available daily via app from 8 AM to 8 PM PST, and for any urgent matters after hours, you can reach out to Marina directly.

🌦️ Seasonal Tips
Winter Travelers:
We’re up in the mountains, at around 4,344 ft (1,324 m) above sea level, so bring snow chains (required by law during snow conditions, even if you have AWD/4WD). Roads are plowed regularly, and our driveway has easy access. Snow shovels and salt will be provided upon request when there is snow.

Summer Guests:
Don’t forget your swimsuits, sunscreen, and water gear! Pinecrest Lake gets busy on weekends—arrive early for the best beach spots. We also suggest bringing bug spray and layered clothing for cool evenings on the deck.

This is our personal second home, where we come to relax, reconnect, and slow down. We’ve designed it with care, and we hope it feels just as special to you. 💛

Great stay at the cabin

Spent a few days at The Bear Lounge Cabin and it was a pleasure. Marina is a wonderful host and very responsive. The house feels very warm and cozy but spacious enough for 6 to 8 people. It is equipped with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to staying at the Bear Lounge again next season!

The house is nice and clean in a very quiet location with gorgeous view in the front and back. Communication with owner is beyond fabulous, they get back to us right away with our concern and always make sure to fulfill our requests. We definitely stay here again in the future

lovely house for a big group

I was backpacking with 4 friends and we needed a place to stay near Emigrant. The house fit the bill; it was comfortable, easily slept 5, and had a lot of nice amenities, including a big outside porch.

Our family of four stayed at the Bear Lounge Cabin during New Year's weekend and the place was everything we could ask for. Awesome location, lots of space for us to manage our ski gear, and warm heating during the evenings. We like the layout of the house - with the open space downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs. Highly recommend it!

We wanted to bring our oldest son to the snow for his 4th birthday. With twin 2 year olds and an almost 6 month old, we needed to find a place that would work for our family. This cabin was perfect. It was comfortable, clean and close to everything we needed. We would stay again.

Home Away From Home

My wife, 4 kids and I went for a ski trip. Ideal home for a family getaway. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Cozy loving room with a nice stove fireplace. Kitchen was stocked with all the amenities needed for meal preparations. There is a beautiful wrap around deck but it was raining so we didn’t get to enjoy it. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Very clean cabin

Cabin was very clean. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked well. The welcome basket was a very nice touch, classy. The teens loved the room stocked with games. Even though we went in July, I loved turning on the Christmas tree lights. Only 1 suggestion, and only because we happened to be in a heatwave during our stay, maybe provide a couple more fans. There was 1 in the game room. Thank you! The temps at night did not drop enough to sleep comfortably, but that was mother nature and nothing against the cabin or owners. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay again.

Our family stayed in Mi Wuk for a weekend. Communication during the booking process was excellent and the response was very quick. The house was super clean and very comfortable, huge patio with a grill surrounded by trees and fresh air. The bathrooms were clean and the home had all essentials we needed. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect weekend getaway

I had the pleasure of staying at Bear Lounge Cabin for one glorious weekend. Let me tell you, this is the ultimate Pinecrest Lake experience. The cabin is situated in Mi-Wuk Village, a quaint and friendly community. Don't be surprised if you saw a family of deer walking around town! The town has everything you need, including a great cafe, a couple of restaurants and a gas station - all within 2-3 minutes drive. The ski resort and the lake are just a short car ride away. The cabin itself is a perfect blend of rustic and modern. The rooms are spacious, airy and bright. You have all the amenities of a modern townhouse in a serene woodsy setting. There's a giant patio where you can barbecue while enjoying clean mountain air. The kitchen has everything you need, including a giant fridge, a dishwasher, and just about anything else. There's a fireplace and 2 TVs. There's also fast internet access so you can stream videos to your heart's content or work if you have to (I did). The owners are nice people who want you to enjoy their beautiful property. They are helpful, friendly and responsive. I hope you enjoy Bear Lounge Cabin as much as I did. Great value, great location, and guaranteed great time!

Very cozy, clean and comfortable cabin, with everything you need to enjoy your time and relax alone or with the family. Very spacious rooms. Large patio with amazing view to the pine and redwood trees, where deers would visit you mornings and evenings. Close to Twain Harte (7min) and Dodge Ridge(17min). Host was super nice and responsive, ready to help with any question!
