Two living areas with plenty of space for everyone to kick-back and enjoy Island time, and a public boardwalk leads to the sugar sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico! Enjoy exclusive community amenities including tennis courts, fitness center, nature trails, bicycle paths, Olympic swimming pool and access to Bob Sykes Cut!

Nestled in the native vegetation of St. George Plantation, this beautiful vacation home has all the amenities to make your Island vacation experience the best! This beautifully decorated property has been designed so you can relax and enjoy the Island, whether swimming in the private pool (heated for a fee) or splashing in the surf and looking for shells on the white sandy beaches just steps away, exploring nearby St. George Lighthouse Museum, Beach Thyme is secluded yet convenient to local shops, restaurants and nightlife. Beach Thyme is pet-friendly, so the furry members of the family are also welcome!

The exterior of this property features a private pool, hot tub (seats 6), enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, under-house concrete parking and area for outdoor cooking and dining.

The first floor offers a SW king suite with flat screen TV, a private setting area and your own private entrance to the beautiful deck overlooking the pool. The 2 SE Queen rooms with your own private entrance and a shared bath. The NE twin room with it's own bath is also on this main level.

The spacious, open living/dining/kitchen area will bring everyone together on the main floor. The kitchen is well appointed with granite counters and a breakfast bar seating 4. The living room offers an abundance of comfy sofas with flat screen TV, high ceilings . This floor offers 4 sets of large double doors for beautiful views that lead to the covered deck with rocking chairs. The dining room table seats 6.

The second floor gives you a queen suite with beautiful views and your own private bath.

We loved our stay! The house has a great kitchen with everything you need (we cook) and is beautifully appointed with beach towel, nice linens, and beach towels. Wonderful proximity to the beach.

Beach Thyme sets just inside the Plantation, with easy access to the beach and to walking trails. Nice, quiet, and very welcoming! This was our third January to stay there, and we've renewed for another!

Nice location, but house is a little worn

Roxanne was very responsive and pleasant to deal with, and the house had all the features listed. The location is wonderful, very near the beach and pickleball courts. The appliances and other aspects of the house could use updates, but all in all, we had a super time here.

Rooftop viewing deck was well advertised but was locked from use which was very disappointing. Also the communications thru VRBO was very lacking. Had to ask on day of check in for instructions on how to get into the house. Last 2 VRBO experiences have been so poor i will be using other platforms in future bc customer support has been terrible.The rest of the house and location was great. Just a few items that could be added like cooking tongs were missing however almost anything else you could think of they had and the Ice machine under the house was a life saver for beach coolers.

Comfortable furnishings and convenient location

This property might have one of the more private settings, as it is surrounded by trees. Which is nice, as it creates a nice buffer from the road. (Although I did mourn what appeared to be the loss of a tree or two that shielded the back of the house from the fire station, but I'm a tree person at heart.) Roxanne is the best of property managers, very responsive to anything that might need attention during our stay. We love the hardwood floors, furnishings, and layout of the house. The deep porch is the perfect location to read a book, drink morning coffee, or enjoy an afternoon glass of wine. The beach is just a walk down the driveway and across the road. In fact, my husband and I enjoy this house so much that we've stayed here for six years in a row and have booked our seventh!
