THE SETTING: 103 Governors Road offers a peaceful home base in Sea Pines with quick access to the bike paths and plenty to enjoy without ever leaving the property. Spend the morning biking through Sea Pines, return for an afternoon around the private pool and spa, then gather on the expansive screened porch for dinner or a movie outside. The Sea Pines Beach Club is approximately 15 minutes away by bike, with seasonal trolley service providing another convenient option during peak months.

THIS HOME IS IDEAL FOR: Families, multi-generational groups, and couples traveling together, particularly those who appreciate a bedroom layout that provides both privacy and flexibility. The main-level primary suite is joined by three upstairs bedrooms, including two additional king bedrooms and a twin bedroom with trundle. With three king beds in the home, adult guests don't have to compromise on accommodations, while the dedicated twin room works especially well for children.

Upstairs, a second king bedroom includes a private ensuite bathroom, while another king bedroom connects via a Jack-and-Jill bathroom to the twin bedroom with trundle. PETS: Well-behaved small and medium-sized dogs are welcome with a pet fee of $350 per dog. Labradors and other oily-coated breeds are not permitted. Dogs are restricted to the first floor of the home, are not allowed on furniture or beds, and must be crated whenever left unattended. A dedicated dog-friendly space provides an especially convenient setup for four-legged guests. Traveling without a pet? Our careful cleaning standards mean you shouldn't find evidence of previous four-legged guests during your stay.

VEHICLES/ATTACHMENTS: Denied entry to Sea Pines include motorcycles/scooters, any vehicle categorized as an RV (this includes vans with hook-ups), boats, jet skis, and trailers.

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Approximately 15 minutes by bike to the Sea Pines Beach Club. During peak season, Sea Pines Beach Trolleys transport guests from designated parking areas to the Beach Club. The closest trolley location is at Greenwood Drive and Willow Oak Road, less than five minutes away by car. From the day after Labor Day through March, guests may park directly at the Beach Club.

POOL HEAT: The private pool and spa may be heated with propane, which performs efficiently in a wide range of outdoor temperatures. The fee is $350 for the first day and $150 for each additional day during March through May and September through November. Pool heat fees are non-taxable and non-refundable. Please inquire for winter rates.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY: For reservations made thirty (30) days or fewer prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time of booking. For reservations made thirty-one (31) days or more prior to arrival, a deposit of 25% of the total reservation amount, along with the full travel insurance premium if selected, is due when the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long-term winter reservation policies may differ; please inquire for details. Guests may cancel up to thirty-one (31) days before arrival and receive a full refund of their deposit. Cancellations made between fourteen (14) and thirty (30) days prior to arrival are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment. Reservations become non-cancelable and non-refundable beginning thirteen (13) days prior to arrival. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
