3 BR Wine Country Getaway at 3 acre Hacienda
Hacienda Felise Estate is the perfect setting for 3-6 ADULT friends or family members or for up to 3 couples seeking a getaway, wine country adventure, workshop or retreat, whether for a few days or a week. This option includes three of our guest dwellings at the hacienda: Casa de los Sueños Casita, Corazón Sagrado Suite, and Catrina Suite. Each unique space is located around a large Spanish-style courtyard with comfortable seating, outdoor firepit and blankets, making it the perfect area for your group to gather and spend time together. Guests can explore the succulent & cactus gardens, have a meditation session in the bamboo oxygen room, find a spot to practice yoga, play bocce ball or other lawn games. On the estate, our two favorite places for viewing a sunset are the guest courtyard or in the gazebo at the top of the gardens. The hacienda setting is serene and peaceful, so let that be your guide for your group. Each dwelling’s features is described below.
*Casa de los Sueños Casita with King Bed, Sleeps 2 Maximum; Art lovers are sure to recognize the Diego Rivera vibe in this sweet ‘house of dreams.’ Your 650 sq ft one-bedroom casita with ensuite bathroom is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. There’s a fully equipped kitchen (full-size fridge, stove-top, convection/microwave oven, dishwasher) stocked with the basics including plenty of coffee, tea, etc. for your first week with us. Your living area is appointed with sofa, fireplace, flat screen with Direct TV and a surround sound system. You'll find a comfy king bed with fresh quality linens, SMART TV for streaming your Netflix, Amazon etc. in the bedroom (but no cable), ample bath towels, double basin sinks, toiletries like soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, even a washer and dryer. The Central Coast has very moderate weather year-round, with the exception of a few days per year, but just in case they occur during your visit you can enjoy a nice breeze from the bedroom and living room ceiling fans. The French doors open up onto a private deck that overlooks an oak grove where deer, owls and other wildlife are often spotted.
*Corazón Sagrado Suite: Queen Bed, Sleeps 2 Maximum; Adorned with sacred hearts decorated with silver Milagros or charms representing love, healing and gratitude, this suite has a special energy. For us, it evokes fond memories of our trips to Oaxaca, Mexico. Your private suite has its own entrance, opening onto a tranquil courtyard. Feel free to open your screened French doors and be soothed by the sounds of the fountain, wind chimes, and nature. Inside, you'll find a comfy queen bed with fresh quality linens, ensuite bathroom furnished with towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, mini-fridge, and beverage station stocked with coffee, tea, and plenty of filtered drinking water, screened French doors, and ceiling fan. Your suite has a Smart TV and WiFi (but no cable) so you can access your own accounts for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. If you are up for some fun and games, try your hand at cards, backgammon, or mancala that we’ve left for you to enjoy.
*Catrina Suite: King Bed, Sleeps 2 Maximum; Named for the immortal icon of Dia de los Muertos, La Catrina, your charming suite is filled with themed folk art from our travels as well as from local artist, Anita Moore-Wells. Your private suite has its own entrance, with French doors opening onto a large Spanish-style guest courtyard - perfect for morning coffee, sunsets or stargazing. You'll find a comfy king bed with fresh quality linens, ensuite bathroom furnished with towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, mini-fridge, and beverage station stocked with coffee, tea, and plenty of filtered drinking water, screened French doors and ceiling fan. Your suite has a Smart TV and WiFi (but no cable) so you can access your own accounts for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. When you’re ready to call it a day, wind down with one of the interesting books in your suite and learn about Mexican folk art, alebrije woodcarvings, Day of the Dead festival, or archaeological sites of Aztecs and Mayans.

Acerca de su propietario/a
Propietario/a: Elise
We are lovers of people, travel and adventure. Although we’ve lived abroad and are passionate about exploring the world, we feel there is no better place to call home than California's beautiful Central Coast. With the abundance of local activities, you are likely to spot us out hiking, kayaking, at a yoga class, music event or wine tasting in Edna Valley, Paso Robles, or Santa Ynez. We also enjoy history and exploring archaeological sites, road trips in our trailer, or river rafting. We live on the estate in the main house, and find great joy in sharing our special haven, tucked back on 3 acres that Frank lovingly tends to.
We are here to help make sure your stay in the San Luis Obispo area is relaxing, memorable and eventful. As our special guests, we will share our tips and secrets so you can live like locals, and if you have a question about the area we can point you in the right direction ensuring the best possible experiences.
5 things we love most when we travel are a clean dwelling, comfy bed, luxurious linens, good coffee, and a helpful host...we're betting that you do too! We look forward to having you as our guest!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Hacienda Felise is so much more than just a place to stay - we offer a memorable elevated experience! Your relaxing stay at the hacienda includes three beautifully appointed, eco-chic dwellings, all inspired by our memorable travel adventures. Each dwelling sleeps 2 and is discretely situated around a large, Spanish-style guest courtyard, which makes for maximum privacy for everyone.
A stay at Hacienda Felise is an adult-only experience, well suited for solo travelers, romantic couple’s escape, girl's getaway, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, work remote situations, or small groups up to 6 adults seeking an inspirational retreat.
On the grounds, stroll the zen garden designed with an 'infinity walk’, see unique cactus and succulents, and be sure to spend some time in the outdoor, live bamboo oxygen room, which is perfect for yoga and meditation. At the top of the gardens there's a gazebo - an ideal spot for morning coffee, a picnic lunch, or catching the sunset. Guests can take in some R&R, unwind with a good book and enjoy the sounds of nature, wind chimes and water fountains or rally for a lively game of bocce ball. Have binoculars handy for wildlife sightings of deer, coyotes, raccoons, possums, owls, hawks, and more.
Don’t be fooled by our semi-rural location - Highway 101, Trader Joe’s, shopping, and dining are within 5 minutes of the hacienda. Nearby, discover the trail of farm stands, farmers markets, historic Village of Arroyo Grande, and Avila Valley Barn to find special locally crafted jams, pies, treats and gifts to take home. Surrounded by both coastal and vineyard wedding venues, the hacienda is centrally located so out-of-town guests can do some of their own exploring in between the festivities. While we are on the Edna Valley/ AG wine trail for some of the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the state, wine lovers can have the ultimate adventure visiting the various wine trails from Paso Robles down to Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara.

SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL: We think it’s important to do what we can to minimize the environmental impacts of tourism. We've tried to be as eco-friendly as possible, both with design and lifestyle, so you will notice shaded terraces and decks that keep the hacienda cool, solar energy, bamboo flooring in kitchen and living room, etc.
Here’s some other ways we are striving to lighten our footprint and those of our guests:
**Increased our solar panels and now produce about 95% of the energy needed to run our property.
**Water conservation with drought resistant, low-water landscape
**You will find delicious dark roast coffee waiting for you that comes in plant-based, PLASTIC-FREE coffee pods that are compostable.
**Filtered drinking water is available in each unit, so NO Plastic water bottles need to be used during your stay.
**Refillable amenity dispensers to reduce use of plastic bottles
**Wool Dryer Balls: reduce drying time and save energy, plus are eco-friendly, reusable, and hypoallergenic.
*Remember - California is in a drought, so please help us to minimize water use.
TESLA - ELECTRIC VEHICLES: We have an EV charging station, and happy Tesla guests say they get 5 miles per charging hour (Additional fee of $15 p/day to use charging station.
*Please let us know you need the EV station at the time of booking.
