Per your inquiry, before your choice to book, we had discussed that the slips were not available for use, but the 30 foot side of the dock would accommodate your boat. So, we are sorry that was a derogatory factor in your rating. We hope that you were able to spend some great, quality time, on the water with your family! We wish we could have earned a 5 star review, with the knowledge that there wouldn’t be a slip for your use, previous to your booking. Feel free to message us, if we can be of any future help!

Hello Paige. We again apologize for any type of confusion with the property listing. As listed and explained in the Property Description, the lower unit is a completely separate unit, and the units share no common or shared interior spaces. I did reach out to you several times during your stay to check on you and to offer assistance with anything that was not up to a 5 star expectation, as I would have remedied anything immediately, but received zero response from you during your stay. Additionally, as in the description, there is a rare case that the owner is there, and upon being advised by them that you had met, I reached out to you again, and offered a financial compensation, that was awarded to you. As with many properties on the lake, slips are a commodity, and many owners around the lake charter their boats, or offer their boats to be used by local services. There is always a no contact policy between the operator of the boat, and guests at the home. The operators simply arrive, to immediately leave, as well as there is NEVER charter guest drop off or pick up on location. I apologize for expectation of a slip, but that is expressly and clearly not offered as an included amenity, as they are both occupied by custom boat lifts. We have made the 30 foot side of the dock vessel ready for you, or anyone visiting you to utilize at any time, so you were more than welcome to have a boat there, just not in a slip. Again, we are truly sorry that you feel as if items that were not offered as included, or as amenities, should have been included. I would have been more than happy to personally come to clean the grill if it was not absolutely up to a 5 star standard, if you had made me aware at anytime during your stay.
