Bearfootin' Cabin is located on a serene pond within walking distance of the Cohutta Wilderness and a waterfall. You can paddle around on a paddleboat or canoe on the pond. You are also welcome to fish. Blue Ridge and Ellijay are only a 15-20 minute drive. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and also have outdoor dining. Relax by the fire pit or stargaze from the hot tub on the large deck. Bring your EV--charging outlet on site! Nearly two acres--all yours!

My story begins in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where I spent my childhood surrounded by natural beauty and adventure. As I grew up, I ventured out to new places, eventually settling in sunny Florida where I met my wonderful husband, raised a family, and built our careers. However, something kept drawing us back to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We couldn't resist the call of the crisp mountain air, the lush forests, and the peacefulness of the region. That's when we discovered Blue Ridge, Georgia - a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the north Georgia mountains. After visiting Blue Ridge for several years, we finally discovered the perfect cabin on a long expanse of Fightingtown Creek. The cabin's rustic charm, convenient location, and stunning views of the creek captured our hearts, and we knew we had to make it ours. As our love for Blue Ridge grew, so did our desire to share this beautiful place with others. We began purchasing additional properties that feature convenience, waterfront access, beautiful scenery, quality amenities, and privacy, ensuring that our guests have the best possible experience during their stay. This property provides a nice escape on the water while still being close to Blue Ridge. Lots of ways to enjoy the outdoors with the pond, paddle boat and canoe, hot tub, firepit, and deck with covered dining area and grill. There is also a nice hike about a mile down the road with a waterfall.

Upstairs, you'll find a sleeping loft with two comfortable twin beds, and a table that can double as a work staton or game table.
