What a lovely condo, perfect location and wonderful island! The walk to the beach was just a few minutes over a bridge and down a pathway, and we just loved the beach itself. One morning we saw dolphins in the water, countless birds everywhere (especially when we signed up for the kayak one afternoon and set off through the mangroves) and even one afternoon we saw the alligator that frequents the canal. The shells were just as we imagined. After spending our mornings on the beach, the kids would sift through their shells on the screened in deck while I made lunch in the perfectly equipped kitchen. Then, there were so many other things to do on the island in the afternoons. We loved kayaking, checking out the Ding Darling preserve, CROW, the lighthouse and a day in Naples. Thank you again for the great stay!
Location on the Island is great for those wanting more privacy. The photos show the unit perfectly - this unit is above and beyond any other rental we have stayed in. The furnishings are high end and the unit is well maintained. The walk to the beach is lovely.....and all of the beach supplies are perfect. We rented kayaks and were able to experience playful manatees on our excursions. The beach is wonderful for shelling. The pool area is well maintained as well as the tennis courts. We only went off the Island once in our four days and that was to a beach walk with the curator of the Shell museum. When visiting Sanibel this will always be our first choice.
Brooke was so very accommodating! We booked last minute and she was able to get payment set up and the keys to us in a timely manner. She responded quickly to emails.
The home is just as described. It's 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a shower and the master bath has a jetted tub. I only used the shower myself so I can only speak to that. Beds were a little uncomfortable; I like mine more firm. Condo was very well stocked with everything we could have needed including linens, pool and beach toys, and kitchen supplies.
The pool is large and clean. The parking spot was a little tight so if you are bringing a large vehicle be aware of that.
The beach is amazing...once you get there. It's a little bit of a hike there but so worth it!
I would definitely recommend this condo and look forward to renting again in the future!
We just spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful condo! It is clean, well equipped, and the location can't be beat. It is just a short, pleasant walk to our favorite beach on Sanibel. The bridge over the lagoon is an adventure as we always found something to see-birds,alligators,and even a pair of manatees! The pool is very large and we were often the only ones there. The condo is spacious enough that even when we had 6 or 8 people there,we had plenty of room. The kitchen is very new as are the baths and there is ample cookware, dishes, and cutlery. We cooked every meal and had every thing we needed. The gas grills by the pool are a great bonus. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels, and even a wagon to help you get it to the beach! We enjoyed everything about this condo and look forward to returning next year! Thank you Brooke!
Beautiful condo in excellent location on Sanibel island. This condo is right next to highly rated Bowman's Beach with only a short walk over the bayou bridge. If you watch carefully, you can see the Osprey along the path as well as the resident alligator. Our family of five spent a relaxing week at the condo and really enjoyed our time kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and the expansive beach and the warm and safe gulf water. We enjoyed visiting Tarpon Bay Marina and kayaking the Commodore creek trail through the mangroves while our teenagers paddle boarded around the bay and even saw a pod of dolphins. We put the available beach chairs, towels, beach umbrella, and miscellaneous beach toys to good use every day. We took long beach walks north through Bowmans Beach during low tide and found more shells than we could have ever imagined. If you want to get away from the crowds and stay on one of the best beaches in Florida, this is a perfect location with all of the great restaurants and shops only a short drive away. This is our second trip to Sanibel and we will definitely be back. Thanks Brooke !!
