15th floor - upscale oceanfront vacation paradise condominium sleeps up to 8 people; located DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH about one mile NORTH of Daytona Beach Ocean Walk and the pier (with many fun activities), about 8 miles from Daytona Speedway and the Airport, and less than half a mile to a shopping plaza (with Publix Grocery Store, Dollar Tree, Walgreen, Beals Department Store, Beals Clearance Store, Marshalls, and more).

The condo is a south-end unit of the Horizons Condominium Building facing east (directly on the ocean), south (with city and bridges views), and west (with river views). The unit is cool in the summer; warm and sunny in the winter. The only thing between the building and the beach is the swimming pool and the lounging area.

The large front wrap-around balcony gives you a perfect 180-degree unobstructed view of the ocean, the river and the whole Daytona Beach area including the lighted pier and bridges. The front balcony is the perfect place to watch the sun rise over the ocean. You could also watch the sunset on the river from the back balcony. "Best views of all Daytona Beach"!! The balconies are equipped with patio furniture including one high table with four high chairs and one low table and six regular-size chairs.

The owners have taken great pride in making sure you have everything you need to make your beach stay enjoyable for you and your family. The main living room is equipped with a brand new Sharp 60' Full HD 1080p AQUOS® LED Smart HDTV (the best possible picture) with HDTV digital cable box, Blue-ray player and a surround sound system. The master bedroom is equipped with a wall-mount 40-inch HDTV. The queen guest bedroom has a flat 20-inch screen cable-TV with built-in DVD player. Also, the double twin bedroom is provided with a 27-inch flat screen cable TV. The unit is equipped with HI SPEED wireless internet for your convenience and pleasure.

The living area has a very comfortable sofa and a love seat, a Lazy Boy recliner, and a big ottoman for your comfort. It also has two armed chairs for added seating plus two extra nice chairs. The dining area has a nice large table with six leather padded chairs and a buffet full of fun games and books for your pleasure.

The unit has been completely renovated with brand new flooring, appliances, furniture, bedding, linens and decorations. The bedrooms have complete furniture with dressers and night stands.

The condo sleeps 8: master bedroom with a king bed, queen guest bedroom with a queen bed, and twin bedroom with one twin bed and one trundle bed (two twin-size beds). There is also a fold-able twin-size bed to be used if needed.

Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances including microwave, glass top stove, double convection oven, large fridge with ice maker and ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, toaster oven, a coffee maker, a blender, a food processor, a hand mixer, and a crock pot. The kitchen is also fully furnished with all needed flatware, silverware, cookware, serving ware, baking dishes, cookie sheets, and utensils.

The balcony from the living/dining area wraps around the east and south side of the unit. The master suite accesses this balcony in addition to a second private balcony facing west (river and ocean view). The guest twin bedroom views the ocean looking north as well as the river to the west, and the queen bedroom is looking west with a large view of the river.

One reserved parking in the secured underground parking garage (with a garage opener) has direct access to the building elevators for the tenants. Additional parking is available on the ground level parking lot.

Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, few boggy boards and few kids sand toys are available in the garage for your use.

PLEASE, ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE UNIT, SMOKING IS PERMITTED IN BALCONIES ONLY.

Minimum rental period is one week (preferably from Saturday to the next). Less than one week rentals will be available if they fall within one rental period (i.e. starts or ends on a Saturday). Extra nights and monthly rates are also available.

This condo unit is an ocean front upscale and secure condo building!! This unit is a south corner unit with superb views of the ocean, city and pier, and river. You could enjoy beautiful sunrises from the east-south wrap-around balcony, and amazing sun sets from the west balcony off the master bedroom!! This unit also has a very private master bedroom suite. Very disconnected from the other two bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen. With its own bathroom, and balcony, it is very quiet and private. All rooms have amazing views day and night!! The area is very quiet and close to many shopping stores and restaurants.

Nice spot

First, let me say that the owners were very responsive when we had inquiries both before and after payment. The condo was as-advertised. We had a great time (5 adults, 3 children aged 3, 6, 7).

Here are a list of things that were cool about this location that other places we've stayed for similar rates didn't have:

* highly condensed sand along beach, but still areas where it was more loose for kids who like to play in it

* a pier about 2 miles away

* huge balcony with great views

* large dining table for board games

* nice entertainment setup in main room

* plentiful beach chairs for personal use

* plenty of sleeping room for 5 adults and 3 children

* low population density in the immediate area (stayed in late July)

I also want to point out a few things that we viewed as cons, although you'll notice that I'm still rating this as 5 stars, as they were mostly minor annoyances and I haven't stayed at a better condo for this price range:

* washer/dryer are not in unit: we had to go get quarters at a nearby Publix in order to do our laundry

* walls were scruffed a little and could probably use a fresh paint job or a good scrubbing

* towels were a little on the low side if you have 8 people like we did

* condo rules state that you should always have shoes and shirt in common areas... while I never saw that enforced, it is a little strange for a condo on the beach I thought

Also, pro tip: Riptides is really good. So good that we ended up going twice. We will definitely consider staying again.

Family getaway

My family really enjoyed staying here. Loved being on the south end on the 15th floor. Very private. The condo had beautiful views from every window. Would have loved to have a washer and dryer in the condo but there was a coin laundry right next to the elevator. We drive a Yukon which is kind of big but the parking space in the garage was very adequate. Would stay here again. Great value compared to other condo's in Daytona area and we have stayed in many condos in Daytona.

Can't wait to go back next year

Just returned from our trip and have already booked next years stay. This will be our 3 rd stay at this wonderful condo. My husband and I, our kids, and grandson stayed with us and there was so much room for all of us. Kitchen is so well equipped we cooked some delicious meals and they were made only better by the spectacular view from everywhere in the condo. We watched the fireworks from the boardwalk at night and loved looking at the city lights. My favorite part of the day was sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise. The pool area is so well maintained it was great to relax and enjoy the sun. The location of the building is just perfect close to the boardwalk and shopping areas and some of our favorite restaurants. We have been coming to Daytona for 17 years and have stayed in many many different places. Some better than others but this condo will be our number one ( and only ) choice. Just wish we could go more than once a year. The owner has been very quick to respond to our requests. I don't think anyone who stays here will be disappointed. Can't wait till next year

Beautiful view, great location, a little outdated.

The view from the condo is spectacular and the ease of check in and communicating with Madelaine was great. She is wonderful to work with. The condo itself is roomy but felt very outdated and kitchen wasn't clean (stove was messy and frig needed cleaning). Additionally there are only enough towels for everyone to shower once and the washer and dryer are down the hall (outside of the unit). The cost is $1.25 to wash and $1.25 to dry. We stayed two weeks so this was really inconvenient. Parking at the building was also a challenge. The unit has only one assigned space in the garage. The outside parking (which we require as both our vehicles are over 7 ft in clearance) is very challenging. There wasn't enough parking for all the guests over the 4th holiday. Also no dedicated handicap parking space at all. We had to back our van up to load our son each and every time. That was also an inconvenience. Hallways are not air conditioned and it was quite hot. Overall I would probably stay again but we have stayed in nicer buildings and units for a lot less money.

Owner's Response: Hi Deborah, I am glad you enjoyed our spacious condo and its spectacular views from all rooms and I too enjoyed communicating with you. I also appreciate your two weeks stay which doesn’t happen too often in the summer. Usually in the winter, more supplies are left by cleaners for longer stays, but we did overlook this one. I apologize! It is very unusual to find the kitchen not clean! I have very good cleaning crew who we have used for more than two years and we usually get good comments on the cleanliness of the condo. Your concern was taken seriously though and was passed on to the crew so that this never happens again. As far as the cost of the laundry, there’s nothing I can do about it. I pay the same when I am there too. Parking is usually never a problem since we have a reserved spot in the garage under the building and ample parking outside. But I believe that needing two spots outside on the 4th of July holiday when all the building units are in use was challenging! I will actually bring to the attention of the building association the need for couple of dedicated handicap parking spaces. I believe it is a good idea! I also want to share with you that we as owners, go spend time at the condo three times a year. Beside enjoying the condo and the beach, we also keep it renovated and updated. The last couple of things we have done lately were replacing the ac unit with a brand new larger one, and replacing the carpet for the three bedrooms. The next thing to do in September is replacing the kitchen counters and bar with granite tops. So we are always looking for ways to give our renters the best experience. Finally, I want to thank you for all your comments and for your review and hope to give you a five-star experience next time you stay in our condo…

Great place!

The condo is plenty big. We absolutely loved the layout of the condo with the master suite on one side of the unit. The rooms were very spacious and had great views. The beds were very comfy. The bathrooms were also big. Living room and dining space were wide and open. There were 6 of us and a baby. We never felt cramped. Kitchen was adequate size. We had a little problem with the AC but the owner was extremely responsive and fixed the situation quickly. The only con is the pool. The temp was very, very cold and they don't allow children with diapers which was obviously a big bummer for us since we were traveling with a 5 month old.

Family spring break 2017

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and very well layer out. We had everything we needed for our trip. We made dinner 3 nights and had all the pans we needed. Had an excellent view from every room. We spent all our mornings on the back deck watching the sunrise. Would recommend this condo to anyone. Thanks for letting us use your fantastic place.
