When you arrive at the Puerto Vallarta airport a resort directed vehicle will take you to the sprawling Vidanta campus. If you are driving, self-parking is available for a nominal fee.

The unit features tasteful, comfortable décor and a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, full set of dishes and glassware, and pantry storage. The large living room has couches that convert to beds. Large flat-screened TVs are in each room, and a secure in-room lock box is available. The balconies have beach, mountain, or river views, and are equipped with couches, dining table and chairs, and private dipping pool for you and your guests. All units receive twice-daily maid service, including cleaning and sanitation, with nightly chocolates and treats. All water throughout the resort is purified and safe to drink.

You have 24 hour room service, and if you wish, a concierge who will visit the on-site resort market for you to secure food and beverages. However, a visit to the resort market is an experience in itself – there is food of all sorts, wines and other beverages. Plus, there are gifts and beachwear to meet the most decerning taste.

There is one restaurant only steps away from the entrance door, an upscale pasta restaurant in the next building, and a kids' pool close to the entrance - a god-sent for younger guests needing nap time in the afternoon. The Deluxe at Grand Mayan is quiet because the rooms are on the 7th through 9th floors of the building.

For golfing enthusiasts, you can reserve a special discounted rate for tee times while staying with us. Three golf courses – Greg Norman, Nayar and Lakes – have all been viewed on TV during the 2023 PGA tour in Mexico. The Championship Norman course is 6834 yards from the blue tees with a par of 73. Nayar, a Jack Nicklaus designed course, is a par 70 at 6668 yards from the championship tees. Finally, the Lakes offers guests lit greens for night time play in the heart of the resort.

There are 28 stunning pools, including a Lazy River, a wave pool, adult only pools, a Mayan water slide, daily water aerobics classes, and activities for the whole family. Children aged 5-12 can enjoy two kids’ clubs where they will meet new friends and experience special themed nights while their parents enjoy adult activities. There is an additional fee for nighttime care.

The Spatium spa offers a full range of spa services including message (our membership entitles you to two for one message rates), salons, and free use of hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms in a soothing and relaxing setting.

There is a fully equipped gym and tennis courts. Classes are also offered to guests, and coaching is available for the serious sports person. The Joy Squad offers guests classes in crafts, jewelry making, games, card games, and overall fun experiences. Nature also gets top billing at Vidanta with botanical walks and special sea turtle releases at the oceanside.

There is nightly entertainment at Santuario, the club in the heart of the Vidanta resort. And now you can experience the Cirque du Soleil’s first phase of their interactive theme park that has opened and is expected to be the biggest attraction in Mexico. Our membership allows you to access the open area of the park for seven consecutive days, including early entry and head of the line privileges.

Security at all Vidanta locations is important. The resort maintains an onsite security team and all entrances are monitored, including the beachfront access to the property. Our private pool (for the Deluxe members) has its own security team as well. Guests can be assured that they are safe.

Check-ins are on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with all stays in units of 4 day minimum to seven days. Multiple seven-day consecutive stays are available, and you can extend your vacation time to two weeks.

At check-in you will be asked for a Government-issued photo identification and a credit card imprint to cover charges you incur during your stay, including wifi. You do not need to use currency for anything else at the resort. Gratuities in cash are appreciated by the maids and porters who do special services. At check-out you will be charged Mexican Room Taxes and a small resort fee. Any damage to the room or resort is solely your responsibility as a renter.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations are non-refundable. We recommend that guests obtain travel insurance that will protect you in the event a member of your party becomes ill or if you need to cancel your reservation. No reservations are accepted during Christmas week, New Year's week, Holy Week, and Easter.
