About this property

Christmas at Gone Fishing starts on Friday, December 1, 2023. This incredible property will be decorated inside and out for your holiday cheer. This property is a family favorite! Don’t miss out!

Gone Fishing is close to all of the local Hocking Hills attractions. This spacious cabins features a large living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, finished basement with a game room w/pool table and tv room, private balcony, hot tub, and large private backyard for enjoyment. This property sleeps up to 11 guests. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is 2 twin bed in the game room. No Wi-Fi or internet service available at this property. We are actively on a list for installation once it is available. Bed linens, bath towels, wash cloths, toilet paper and paper towels are provided complimentary.

Our rate plan is based on 4 guests, any additional guests would occur an extra fee.

Additional Fees:

Cleaning fee $75 per stay. Larger groups, events and parties will pay a higher fee. Please contact host before booking.

Pet fee $50 per stay. (Max 2 pets)

Any additional pets would need approved.

We do not refund for early departures.

Dozen of Rose's ($89.99) - One dozen roses in a vase with greenery and baby's breath. Roses will be in your cabin upon arrival. Color based upon availability.

Balloon Arrangements ($49.99) - Mixture or balloons based on your special occasion.
Bundle of Firewood ($10.00) - A bundle of firewood by your fire pit.

We also offer other special event planning services. Please send us a message for additional information.
Gone Fishin cabin can sleep 8 guests. This cabin has it all from fishing our 5 Acre Fishing lake (stocked) to swimming in the pool. You can also relax in the hot tub! You also have a pool table and the cabin is pet friendly.

Fifteen minute drive to Lake Hope. Shared Kayaks at lake for you to use and the other 5 cabins.

Bring your own Kayak if you want to be guaranteed to have kayaks to use.

It is what it is …

The house did not appear to have been cleaned well from the last visit. The carpet had hair and fuzz, the shower was not well cleaned and I found lots of dead bugs by the back door. I only stay in VRBOs and this one was probably the least maintained one I have ever stayed in. 20 mins from hiking trails and the down town is cute and only 7 mins away so that part was nice. Would try somewhere else the next time I travel to Hocking Hills.
