About this property

Vineyard Haven Guest Cottage

Classic Vineyard Haven cottage, in the heart of the village, just a few blocks from the ferry. We love this cottage for what it is: Cozy, private, authentic. This is the real Island deal.
This is not a contractor reno or investment property. We're happy to share our property with easy-going people looking to enjoy a few relaxing island days. Please note that we have a three day maximum night stay (can't find that feature in VRBO, BTW)

Guest cottage on the main house property in the heart of Vineyard Haven on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Approximately 500 sq-ft of quiet, private space with a double bed and pull-out couch. Small kitchen and smaller bathroom. Perfect for an individual, couple, or a couple of friends or family.

Three short blocks from ferry, shopping, restaurants, transportation, harbor, beaches, and bike trails.

Enjoy the private deck and yard, or bike to a nearby beach.

Please note there is no A/C, TV, computers, monitors, or landline. Yes, there is Wifi. But unplug and relax - it's the island!

The main house is owner occupied by my wife, daughter, and me. The cottage is a separate structure at the end of our driveway at the rear of the property. We are available, if needed, for island way-finding or any questions you may have.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Great stay, great hosts! Walking distance to ferry, shops, restaurants, bus terminal. Perfect little nook of a cottage for couples or small families that is privately nestled in a quiet, well-maintained backyard. Loved the little porch!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is perfect, just as advertised and is minutes (walking) from the ferry. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cottage Retreat

We had an incredible time in the cottage. Our hosts were very responsive and the place had everything you need for a weekend getaway for two. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway to unplug and unwind

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was clean and comfortable, rustic and cozy. We enjoyed having coffee out on the porch in the morning and listening to the birds.

Vinyard Haven Perfection

My husband and I stayed at Vinyard Haven this weekend. Our first trip to Martha's Vinyard... it was perfect. Everything we needed, private and close to town/ferry. The hosts were great and accessible. As I suggested to the host Danny, twinkle lights in the wisteria would elevate the experience to "magical"!

Absolutely amazing

My BF and I booked this cottage to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was super clean, cozy and private! The hosts went above and beyond with what they provided inside - tooth brushes, shampoo, bars of soap, coffee, milk, cream, a bottle of wine - everything brand new! The backyard is extremely private and there is a little deck area with chairs to sit out and enjoy the view. Literally a 2 minute walk from the downtown area and ferry. Host was super friendly and came out to meet us once we got there. He was very helpful in answering all questions and even helping with suggestions for what to do/ where to go. I would absolutely book here again with no hesitations!!
