Rest and reconnect with family and friends at West Hill Cabin, a log home located in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, just 2 1/2 hours from NYC and Boston. The cabin is situated just off a private dirt road on an acre of land surrounded by woods which has access to West Hill Lake, a short walk through neighboring Brodie Park. The log cabin offers 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms, an office, reading room, living room, open concept kitchen and dining area, and a great room with vaulted ceilings and wood burning stove. High-speed internet and one fully-equipped hot desk and additional desk upstairs make it perfect for remote working. Outdoor space includes a screened-in porch and rear deck with picnic table and grill.

Nearby attractions include hiking, river tubing, golfing, biking, and a drive-in movie theater. There’s also a local farm store, brewery, and winery in the town center, just a 10 minute drive. Or, enjoy a fire in the wood burning stove or a movie on the home theater system in the great room with vaulted ceilings. Everything West Hill Cabin has to offer truly makes your stay a vacation.

Fall/Winter Fun
- Visit and observe the fall leaves change color!
- Go apple picking at a local farm
- Fly fish on the nearby Farmington River.
- Go skiing at Ski Sundown (10 mins away)

- Neighboring Camp Brodie offers weekly camp enrollment for kids ages 3-12.

Perfect for lounging with the family

Watched the leaves fall. Watched the rain. Those are treats when you’re from coastal California. Everyone can be in the living room and there is still room for you to do your exercises. The dining room is great for dinners with lively discussions. If you are arriving in the dark I would request that the host turn lights on. It is very dark and difficult to locate and use the keypad.

New Hartford Cabin

What a great cabin for a family get together. 8 of us flew from around the country for a wedding and a weekend with family. The space is perfect and the living area was more than spacious enough to accommodate us all. Unfortunately our weather was not as accommodating but the lake and the trails are so close and the cabin is more than cozy enough for those cold and rainy days.

A Wonderful Place

Our group couldn't have been happier with the home. It had everything we needed, and the living room was a wonderful place to hold our meetings. West Hill Lake is just a short walk from the house, and we enjoyed wonderful sunsets each evening.
