This beautifully remodeled Alphorn condo is conveniently located between Vail and Lionshead Village and is less than a 10 minute walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Vail Resorts Snowsports School and Lionshead Ticket Office. Upscale fine dining, bars, night life, family friendly restaurants, and Vail's finest shops and boutiques are all available in Lionshead Village. One outdoor parking space is available with this unit, but there is no need for a car when you can take advantage of the free in-town bus to visit either Vail, Lionshead or Golden Peak.

You’ll be delighted with the modern mountain decor throughout the home and enjoy the layout, finding the living, dining and kitchen as one open space. The living room features a flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace while the dining table seats 6 guests with amazing mountain views. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a breakfast bar with seating for 4, so dining in is a pleasure in this vacation home.

When the day is done, retreat to the master bedroom which is furnished with a king bed or bedroom 2 with two twin beds. Both bedrooms feature a flat screen TV and have access to separate bathrooms just steps from their doors.

This lovely condo sleeps 4 in 3 beds comfortably. Please note that this unit is on the second level with stair access only. Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided in the home for your comfort.

                                      Vail paradise


                                      Nice condo. Great location. Easy walk to Lion's Head or Vail Village. Great lift access at both locations. Fantastic variety of restaurants, ice skating, bowling, hiking. Condo was updated inside. Kitchen appliances and items needed for cooking was perfect. However, no food/condiments provided. Bring cooking oil/salt/pepper/ etc. Owner/manager was very friendly and was available to answer questions and give advice.

                                      We spent 5 days in Vail, my favorite ski mountain. No surprise, the snow base was skimpy, but we found enough trails to ski and enjoyed our trip.

                                      The condo has parking, and we took advantage of that. Apparently there is garage parking as well, but we just parked in front of the building. Caution to all visitors: if you are renting a vehicle at the airport I seriously recommend 4-wheel drive, especially if you are coming from Denver. The passes and inclines can be icy and dangerous.

                                      It is a 10 minute walk from the condo to Gondola 1, which was easy and pleasant. There is an intown bus that could also be used, but we found walking easier. We stored our skis near the Gondola so that we didn’t hike them back and forth.

                                      The condo itself is on the second floor facing the mountain so in the morning you can get a good look at the front face and the existing/evolving conditions. Don’t forget to check the mountain report if you can!!!

                                      The condo has recently (VERY recently) been updated and it is very comfortable. It can sleep 4, but we were only 2 people, so each of us had our “own” bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped. I love to cook, so we took advantage of that one night. Hence the additional need for the car to get to the City Market, one exit west on I-70.

                                      There is a counter with contoured leather bar stools to eat breakfast, watch the cook, etc. Of course a dining table, sofa (leather), and an easy chair (not that comfortable). Large TV. Good Wi-Fi.

                                      My only very small issue was the water temperature regulation in the shower. The temperature is controlled by a two handle affair from 1962 (I know because my parents have the same fixture in their house that was built in that year), although everything else was newer. Problem was the water was either scalding hot or just a little too cool. The correct temperature was achieved by millimeter adjustments.

                                      The beds were comfortable.

                                      Right next door is the Four Seasons resort. If you get the chance, go hang out at their bar. It is awesome.

                                      I would definitely return to this condo!

                                      Great location. Close to the slopes, close to the free bus stop that takes you from village to village, and beautifully renovated. Maureen was a pleasure to deal with on the phone. Very easy access with door code entry. Place comes with all of the basics, soap, shampoo, dish detergent, towels, linens. Washer and dryer in the condo. Would have been nice to have a pod for washing clothes. Safeway supermarket is just a few minutes away so was able to get what was needed to enjoy the weekend. Would definitely rent again here.

                                      Freshly renovated and close to everything- 5 min walk into Vail and Lionshead Village. Well appointed kitchen, super comfy beds and washer dryer was a plus. Wood burning open fire made the 5 star experience complete , including mid-stay clean and delivery of complimentary wood for the fireplace.
