Welcome to your dream vacation destination at 700 South The Strand in beautiful Oceanside, California! This stunning oceanfront property is located directly on the beach and offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Wake up every morning to the sound of crashing waves and enjoy your coffee on the private patio while taking in panoramic ocean views. This luxurious vacation rental is a fully furnished, 2 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom unit located on the ground floor for easy access. The open layout of the living room, dining area, and kitchen offers plenty of space for family and friends to gather together. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to cook up a delicious meal, or if you prefer to dine out, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and features comfortable bedding for a restful night's sleep. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and access to the second bathroom which also includes a walk-in shower. After a day at the beach, relax and unwind in the cozy living room with a flat-screen TV or take advantage of the complimentary Wi-Fi to stay connected. Other amenities include central air conditioning, an in-unit washer and dryer, and reserved parking for two cars.

Our home includes smart tv's, WiFi, BBQ, patio dining, outdoor fire pit, washer & dryer, 5-star resort-quality linens, beach/bath towels, toiletries, and cooking and dining utensils. This is a Pet friendly unit. There is a $250 nonrefundable Pet fee for up to 2 pets.

Ideal for family or friend gatherings, this beautiful ground-level home includes a spacious floor plan with plenty of room to both relax and entertain.



THE VIEW

Sitting on the patio at "Ocean Escape," you are enveloped in a sensory symphony of coastal beauty. The rhythmic pulse of the Pacific Ocean sets the stage for a breathtaking panorama that captures the essence of coastal living. Looking to your right, the Oceanside Pier extends its weathered arms into the sea, a testament to the connection between land and ocean. Its wooden planks, peppered with visitors strolling in the salty air, form a harmonious contrast against the vastness of the water. The silhouette of surfers catching waves near the pier adds a sense of vitality to the scene, their figures blending seamlessly with the ebb and flow of the tides. The property is separated from the beach by a narrow, one-way, 10 mph lane affectionately known as “The Strand,” This is a one-way cruising lane between the home and the water. There is a steady stream of cars and passers-by in front of the patio; great for people-watching, but not private. The road is protected by a rock seawall which reveals a quaint sandy beach at low tide. At high tide, a broader sandy beach is just a short walk away. Parking is in a secure, gated underground parking lot with two reserved parking spaces.

KITCHEN AND DINING
The large chef's kitchen features quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and comes stocked with all the basic cooking utensils you need to prepare your culinary masterpieces while on your beach vacation. The home's multiple dining areas include a dining room table for 6, barstools at the counter, and patio dining for enjoying al-fresco sunsets.

LIVING AREAS
The living room flows seamlessly from the kitchen, then continues on to the patio overlooking the ocean. Enjoy your favorite shows on the large flatscreen smart t.v. after a long day at the beach. The comfortable furnishings invite you to relax, unwind, and soak up the peace and gentle whisper of crashing waves. Later in the evening, the living room couch converts into a queen bed.

SLEEPING
"Ocean Escape" comfortably sleeps 6 with a variety of arrangements to fit different groups. The primary suite has a comfortable king bed with a private ocean front patio, a walk-in closet, and a flat-screen TV. The second en-suite bedroom has a queen bed. The third bed is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. All beds are fitted with sumptuous high-thread-count linens.

BATHROOMS
The home has 2.5 bathrooms. The primary bath is en-suite and features a large walk-in shower. The second bath is en-suite with the second bedroom and features a tub/shower combo. There is a half bath for guest use as well.

Your home-away-from-home comes with enough off-street parking space for 2 vehicles in a gated underground parking lot.

LOCAL AREA
"Ocean Escape" is just steps from the water on “The Strand,” Oceanside's landmark one-way lane right on the water. At low tide, a beach is accessible right in front of the house. At high tide, the beach can be reached by walking a few minutes to the north. Perfectly located close to Oceanside Pier, Downtown, and Oceanside Harbor, and is just steps from the beach. Enjoy all your favorite vacation activities nearby such as fine dining, golf, jet ski, kayak, bike, and surfboard rentals, sailboat excursions, and deep-sea fishing. Explore the area's Michelin-star rated restaurants, breweries, and casinos.

Guest Access

Property manager may meet guests upon arrival. Home is secured with electronic lock. Check in is at 4 pm; check out is 10am. Home is accessed via a one-way “boardwalk” road: Take First Street west, then turn left on South The Strand. Drive south until you reach 700 South The Strand. The two-story, sixteen-unit structure has a parking lot gate in the middle of the building. Your access code will be emailed to you prior to your arrival. There is additional street parking east of the building on South Pacific Street.

Prefect Getaway

I took my sister, 89 year mom, and 92 year aunt on a getaway to the beach. The house house was perfect! When we arrived it was very clean and well stocked with items to cook with (seasonings, oil, etc.). The kitchen was amazing, we cooked all our meals at the condo. Loved the windows that opened up all the way onto the patio. The ocean was right there. The location was perfect and we felt very safe. Met plenty of lovely people as we sat out on our patio morning, noon, and night. The house was very near a set of steps taking you down to the beach easily. The pier was an easy walk. It was great having a garage to park in, we didn't touch the car until we left. Erik, the manager, was great and very responsive to our texts with minor questions. Our patio gate latch was stuck (probably from the salt water) but Erik was quick to come and get it opened. The only negative I found was that the toilets were on lower side for my mother, so I had to order her a booster seat which came in early the next morning. But if you don't have an older family member needed that height, everything else was perfect. Other than that, I would definitely come and stay again, I highly recommend it. Thank you Erik!

We all love the location and how clean and modern the unit is. Management has excellent communication and is always available when you have questions or if you need anything. Would definitely return.

This location was amazing! So convenient being right on the strand to people watch and walk morning, noon and night! The property management company was extremely proactive and response to all of our needs!

The condo on the strand was awesome. Being twenty feet from the ocean, watching the surf (and people) from the patio while enjoying a morning cup of coffee was the perfect start to the day. I will definitely be staying here again on future visits and will highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay at this great spot on the strand in Oceanside. The location is great. The beach is right there and the pier is a short walk. The condo is nice and secure. The inside is nice and the kitchen is great. The property manager was easy to reach and was eager to resolve any issues. Overall, I would recommend this spot.

Awesome rooms, kitchen, balcony and living room. Ocean views amazing. Central location. Busy street front with busy traffic in front of unit. Great overall cleanliness, except for floors throughout were not clean. Communication during check in /out was great.

Our thanksgiving holiday

The house was fabulous! Great location, clean, updated and had everything you need! There was great communication with the property manager if needed. It’s the place to be on Oceanside! I’ll pack by bags and return anytime! We had hit a lot of traffic and didn’t have dinner. It was nice that the property owners had left fresh salsa, guacamole & chips!
