Our Reviews say it all! Feel the ocean breezes in this spacious, newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, vacation condominium with peek a boo ocean view. Lovely private balcony (on the ground floor) and private large side patio off the master bedroom to take advantage of the location (our unit is the only one with the private patio in addition to the balcony). No stairs to climb. You are only 1 block to the beach, and two blocks to Oceanside harbor and three blocks to the Oceanside pier, all of which offer great restaurants, shopping, movies and other entertainment opportunities. Downtown Oceanside is also an easy walk with theaters, restaurants, brew pubs, fine dining and shopping!
Outdoor activities at this condo include swimming in the heated year-round pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi, grilling up your favorite meal, enjoying a glass of wine at the roof top deck with a whitewater view, or playing tennis in the private court. We are located right next to a dedicated 18 mile bike trail. The condo is located in the best area of Oceanside. The beaches are easily accessible and less crowded here, and the sand is nice and clean. The beach is wide in this location, and the surf is easy to walk into. The waves are easy to ride on with a boogie board, surfboard, or body surf. You can walk almost everywhere here, and because we are farthest north, the beaches are less crowded than right by the pier. The sunsets are amazing.

Most attentive, thoughtful and responsive host we have experienced through VRBO. Very well equipped condo from the kitchen supplies to the beach equipment. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach even though it came with a trade-off of beach traffic. Proximity allowed us to walk the beach on a regular basis then go back and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Loved the rooftop sunsets!

We had a great stay at this condo!! Barb was absolutely wonderful to work with from check in to check out!! Even gifted us with a wonderful welcome basket with homemade cookies, delicious!! Location is fabulous, walking distance to many restaurants, the pier and the harbor. The beach is a 2 minute walk!! The sunsets from the rooftop patio were spectacular!! Excellent location

The location of this condo was perfect for us. Walk to beach, groceries and restaurants. The condo is as pictured, the beds were comfortable with nice bedding. There’s lots of towels for the bathrooms, kitchen and beach. The closets and cupboards are very well stocked. The condo is near the elevator and heated pool and hot tub. We loved the roof top patio for afternoon snacks, cocktails and beautiful sunsets. Would recommend you budget for the power bill, we paid over $350 for two months of unseasonably cool weather. We recommend this condo and we would stay here again.

Fun time in Oceanside

Barb was a great host. She greeted us at check-in with an overflowing basket of goodies from Trader Joes...and flowers. She responded rapidly and professionally to the couple of requests for help. The unit was just as advertised. The furnishings were beachy beautiful and very comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was available. The location of the condo was perfect, only a minute from the beach, just across the bridge from Harbor Village and a short walk to many great restaurants, the pier, shopping and a theater. The I5 Freeway entrance is very close, providing acess to all that San Diego has to offer. And the transit station which provides rail service to downtown San Diego, Orange County, LA and the Freeway 78 communities is just a short walk. We liked our month long stay so much we are returning for an even longer visit next summer.

A BEAUTIFUL BEACH CONDO

We enjoyed our extended stay of 2+ months. Barb is a great owner who is responsive and reliable. Her welcome touches (flowers/wine/snacks) set the tone for our delightful stay. Everything was clean and well kept. Appliances were top notch. The kitchen/eating are is well designed even when family gathered to celebrate our granddaughter's birth.The decor is serene and "classy". The complex has a pool/jacuzzi/ nice BBQ area and a sundeck with an ocean view! Our favorite feature was the close proximity to not only the ocean but the marina area. We could walk to a farmer's market/ shops/cafes and a wonderful library. Easy access to public transport put us close to San Diego and nearby street fairs and festivals. My husband appreciated the underground parking space and the nearby elevator when returning from stores. We would gladly return as guests and have told many of our friends and family about this great condo in Oceanside. Check out the photos for this listing and you will see why it is a perfect choice when staying in Oceanside.

Great Oceanside Rental and Location

We were pleased with this rental from start to finish. The owner Barb provided a Welcome Basket of Trader Joe’s goodies and a bottle of wine as well as a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. The condo rental was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The beds were comfortable and linens and towels were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and the BBQ conveniently located just outside the door. The wifi was strong and COX cable provided a great variety of tv entertainment. Barb contacted us periodically to make sure we had no difficulties since the weather was cooler and wetter than usual. As we live in the Pacific Northwest, we were prepared for this years’ unseasonable weather. We really enjoyed the location a block from The Strand and walked the beach and Oceanside pier daily. We were also lucky enough to watch filming of scenes from the series “Animal Kingdom” one afternoonon on The Strand. We visited San Diego and the Temecula wine area. This is the perfect base for exploring San Diego County. We would have no hesitation to return to this rental in the future.

Amazing Oceanside Vacation Home

We had a wonderful month at this vacation home. I was visiting Oceanside with my husband and 3 young children. We are always on the go and this beach condo fit our needs perfectly. It was an easy little walk to the beach, even for my 4 year old. The waves were the best we have seen in So-Cal. We fished off the pier where you don't need a license and the poles are rented right from the pier. We brought bikes and rode several times on the strand and over to the playground that is on the strand. We ate at Ruby's on the pier, as well. We watched several sunsets from the Aegea rooftop deck. We also barbqued several times on the grills shared by all of the condos. They are very nice. There is also a sink and tables to eat outdoors. My kids swam in the shared pool almost every day. The courtyard was quiet and I enjoyed the chaise lounge chairs and a book exchange by the post office area. It is also just a short walk over to the harbor shops where we went a couple of times for delicious fish and chips. And a short drive to grocery stores and shopping. We loved Barbs condo because it had the extra private deck off the side which had a hose for rinsing sand off of the kids and storing our sand toys and chairs. She really made us feel welcome with the personalized table settings, in Disney for the kids, as well as treats, drinks, and a little bucket of activities for the kids. It was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The condo is decorated beautifully. The towels and bedding were plush. It had everything we needed, even an iron. The furniture is very nice and new. The kitchen was equipped with good quality appliances and dishes. I loved it. Barbs condo is also just steps from the elevators and her 2 parking spaces down in the garage are also just steps from the elevator. You couldn't ask for a better location in Aegea. It is an extremely secure building. Every gate is key locked with high fences around the entire place. We felt very safe. We loved this place and we fell in love with Oceanside, as well. We would highly recommend this condo and this location within Oceanside!

Absolutely loved it

We stayed in the unit from Sept to Jan. My husband was working in the area for an extended period and we needed a furnished place that was convenient to his work, in a good area and more spacious and homelike than your typical extended stay hotel or corporate apartment. The condo was absolutely perfect. There are so many good things I could say about it, but I'll talk about 2 specificially. The unit itself and the location. The condo was excellent. We've stayed in a few vacation rentals over the years in various places. This unit was the best one we've stayed in. Everything was immaculate. From the linens to the furnishings, nothing was worn, frayed or shabby in the least. Everything was very clean, neat and well appointed. The condo was decorated to the level that you would decorate your own home. No shortcuts or sparseness at all. The electronics and the appliances were top notch and all in excellent working order. There was Wi-Fi and cable TV. We felt as if we were staying in a well loved home. Everything we needed was provided already. All we had to buy was food. The location is absolutely perfect. Its a very easy 5-10 minute walk to Oceanside Pier, Oceanside Marketplace, and Oceanside Harbor. If you love being outdoors, this is the place for you. My husband loves to bike and to run. This area is perfect for both - there are extensive biking trails nearby and the whole area is very well situated for joggers or walkers. The Oceanside Sunset Market on Thursdays year round is not to be missed, neither is the farmers market on Thursday mornings. There are all sorts of restaurants in walking distance - from fine dining, to casual beach eateries to cart vendors. If you love the beach, this unit is ideally situated for you. It is a couple of blocks away from Oceanside Pier - so there is none of the noise that can accompany the pier area at this unit. Just throw on your suit, grab your towel and literally walk across the road to the corner and down the steps and you are on the beach. We saw 2 or 3 officially sanctioned surfing competitions while we were there - at both Oceanside Pier and Oceanside Harbor. We met a couple of folks who were training for triathalons and did their ocean swim training here. Surfers, swimmers and body boarders were everywhere - even during the off season which was when we were here. We saw dolphins off the pier while eating breakfast at Ruby's Diner - on multiple occasions. Absolutely recommend.

Incredible Experience....

The condo itself is beautiful!!! When my parents and I arrived there was a lovely gift basket and card awaiting us. Barbara made us feel so welcolmed and was extremely helpful. The location of the condo was incredible. Only a few blocks from the beach and close to the harbour. The condo was clean and pristine and so inviting. Top of the line everything and fully stocked. We could not have asked for more. My family and I will be "returning" every summer. Thank you so much for everything Barbara!!!!!

AMAZING - BELIEVE IT!

A couple of Snowbirds from Minnesota stayed at this property in March & April 2021. Even though there were COVID-19 restrictions, we had a wonderful, restful stay. When searching VRBO for a place to rent, this listing attracted our attention. It answered all of our questions upfront by providing a complete photo gallery and very detailed descriptions. After reading reviews of others who had stayed at this property, we were confident we were making the right choice. We were not let down. Our goal was to leave behind MN bitter cold & snow and stay where we could enjoy the comforts of home, in a warmer climate. Yes, we would stay here again during the winter season. Great location! We were very pleased to find that the condo was as fantastic as advertised. Everything was super convenient! Come and stay, if you can. However, be forewarned, it will be hard to leave. Your memories will go home with you and last a lifetime. Let me say it again, YES we would stay here again!

Fabulous Experience

We couldn't have had a better experience staying at this property for six weeks this past summer. We came from Arizona in the middle of the Covid spike and arrived in Oceanside stressed and exhausted. The condo was immaculate and had been sanitized prior to us coming and we had contact free check in. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a basketful of Trader Joe's goodies and a much needed bottle of wine as well as provisions for the next morning's breakfast. We took our snacks and our wine and immediately went out on the patio and started decompressing. It just got better from there. The condo is clean and fully updated with high quality linens that make it feel very luxurious. There is all the equipment you need - beach stuff, tennis rackets, etc. There's a separate back patio where you can rinse your stuff and your feet from a day at the beach. The beach is easy to get to and beautiful. There is a major cycling/running trail a few blocks away. I enjoyed walking to the Oceanside Harbor market for fresh fish and on Thursdays to the Farmers' Market downtown. Basically, all of our needs were attended to and we were really able to relax. Barb checked in with us reliably and was always available if we had a question about a restaurant recommendation or anything but she otherwise remained unobtrusive and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. I give this property and Barb my highest recommendation.

My wife and I stayed for a month and felt like we were home. Barb does a great job a taking care of all the little things that your take for granted and may not expect to get from a rental. Awesome Condo - Close to Beach, Clean & Updated!

Had a wonderful time at this condo! Location was great and the condo itself was newly updated, clean and had almost all the equipment needed to make this your "home away from home". The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the beds were comfortable. There is a side patio with lounge chairs that we used almost daily. It is situated such that you're blocked from the wind which made it seem much warmer than it actually was...it was awesome!! We walked almost everywhere - to restaurants, grocery store, etc. We even took the train to San Diego, which was really nice. And lastly, Barb, the owner was so gracious and attentive. She was truly interested in making sure we had everything we needed and wanted us to have a good time...which we did! Would definitely stay here again!!

We loved this Condo!

The location was perfect for us... so close to the beach and walking distance to town. The sunsets were an extraordinary gift every day, visible from the dining room. The condo kitchen is so well equipped with all the utensils you might need. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Because of the way the condo faces, the sound from the train is not objectionable at all. Barbara was very thoughtful and responsive to our needs. There is so much to explore in the town and surrounding communities. We were never bored and totally enjoyed the many restaurants, library, art museum, shopping. We were delighted with the ease of our experience in Oceanside and the comfort of the condo, and look forward to returning.

Beach Perfection in Oceanside!

This condo is amazing! Comfortable beds, wonderful linens and so many amenities. We stayed with our toddlers and loved the proximity to the beach and the pool. Really a perfect base for seeing the area. Great sea breezes. Would have loved to stay longer. Everything that you need is provided. Kids loved the beach toys and having the beach gear was incredible. The hosts are wonderful and really made sure that everything needed was provided.

Great Choice!

"Great choice!" Is what my husband said about the condo. The decorating was very well- done, the place is stocked with necessities, and the location is perfect for Oceanside. We could and did walk to the pier, the harbor, the Sunset Market, the movies, and several restaurants downtown. The pool and hot tub were used many times as were both patios. The first floor location close to the pool, the back gate, and the elevator is nice too. When we arrived, the owner gave us a generously filled welcome basket and gorgeous bouquet of tulips. Friends who visited were all impressed with the accommodations. It was a terrific month. Mother Nature even blessed us with lots of sunshine and warmer than average temperatures. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Oceanside.

Fantastic Owners/Fantastic Location/Fantastic Condo

We had a lovely time in this beautiful, newly renovated condo that was within walking distance to the beach and marina. The restaurants the owner suggested were really great and it was such a relaxing vacation. The condo is close to a lot of activity but far enough to have some peace. The condo felt like home and was nicely decorated and renovated with everything you could possibly want. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket which was so thoughtful and unexpected. Private, covered parking was a nice touch and it was very easy to locate, access keys, parking, unit, etc. The private patio is a nice touch for afternoon relaxing right off of the master bedroom. We look forward to our return trip and the owners and location and unit exceeded all of our expectations! Mick and Tricia

Best Bet Stay for Oceanside

Absolutely the perfect condo for Oceanside; for that matter, anywhere between San Diego and LA. Very close to the beach without the annoying crowd, walking distance to the Marina for lunch/Happy Hour, 12miles of bike path right around the corner, WalMart, Costco, everything is close-by for easy access. I know we sound like a commercial, but this really is a great place to stay. And although we don't use the pool or tennis court, it's there for anyone willing. There's a gift basket on arrival, fresh flowers, and for us, a complete kitchen. We really shouldn't say too much more as you're apt to take it from us, but rest assured you really won't find a place better than this. We're working on telling enough of our friends to join in so we can all take June-Sept. Sorry, but that'll be perfect for us!

Location, Location

In my fifth winter in the San Diego area, this was my fourth different rental location -- and by far the best! The condo is very well outfitted and quite comfortable. My hosts had stocked the fridge and pantry with a thoughtful collection of staples and other goodies; I felt at home immediately. (In fact I signed a lease for 2014 within the first few weeks of my stay.) I love the location. Just a couple of minutes to walk to the beach (no steps involved); five minutes walk to the marina with its restaurants; five minutes the other direction to the Oceanside Pier. I took many long strolls along that beach and that pier watching the surfers, fishermen, and even dolphins and a whale one day. Ruby's Diner at the end of the pier is a must (sit outside) and the Lighthouse Oyster Bar in the marina is excellent. Ten minutes drive to Carlsbad Village and its many shops and cafes. You can't beat staying here!

Perfect choice!

We truly enjoyed our extended stay of 2 months thru Thanksgiving weekend. Barb (owner) is a wonderfull responsible owner who went out of her way with her welcoming touches. She had wine/snacks/fresh flowers waiting for us. She had breakfast items in fridge (orange juice, milk, cheese etc) which was so thoughtful for late check in! Everything was exceptionally clean, well stocked and well organized. The unit is first floor unit which was a plus and very convenient. Appliances and kitchen items are very modern and kitchen/dining area was perfect with a patio area facing front ocean view. The complex was clean, secure and has a pool area with a large BBQ area that was perfect. The unit has secure two car parking underground, which felt very safe. The Aegea complex has a sundeck area with an ocean view that was perfect to enjoy the sunset. We took advantage of our perfect location by taking walks to the beach/pier and just people watching. From the condo you can walk to close by stores and restaurants which makes it very convenient. Check out the photos and information for this condo, the pictures actually do not reflect just how nice, clean and comfortable this unit is! We can truly say this condo is a good choice with a family or as a 55+ couple. We would definitely recommend condo to friends and family members!

We stayed for the month of August and had a wonderful time. The owner's have thought of everything possible you would need for your stay. The Condo is very upgraded and very comfortable. A short walk to the pier with very nice restaurants and The ocean..Oceanside Harbor is also walking distance with 6 to 8 restaurants and every one of them the food is fabulous. The rooftop of the condo is very nice to sit in the evening and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. We wnjoyed our stay very much in this condo and will be going back.

North Pacific Condo newly renovated

The complex is an older building but very well maintained. The pool people, cleaners, and gardeners are at work almost daily. The complex is gated and entrance is by lock and key only. The unit comes with two parking spots located underground and secured as well. The elevator is right by the parking and gives easy access to the unit. The unit has been refurbished from top to bottom with new flooring, paint, furniture and is well stocked and clean. The owners are medicoulous to detail and very responsive to to any questions or needs. The unit is. Block away from the Ocean and with two miles of sandy beach and a long pier. Lots of interesting things to take in and more than a few rocks and seashells taken home. We found the unit to be competitively priced and felt it had good clue for the rent paid. In these kind of reviews thought the most important thing is always left out..would you rent again? The answer is an unqualified and resounding yes.

We have lived in southern California for over 40 years. We love the outdoors, and enjoy taking long walks by the ocean. We enjoy boogie boarding in the warm ocean and collecting shells and sand dollars. We love to photograph the Oceanside Pier and the Oceanside Harbor. Our favorite times are early in the morning or around 4pm when it seems the dolphins come out to play in the surf. Oceanside's wide, flat beach is like heaven to walk on with its soft powdery sand. Your photos of the pier, and the sunsets will amaze your friends. The local restaurants, coffee shops and farmers market, are all within walking distance- as is the train station- our place has true "walkability"

Why they chose this property

We chose Oceanside to have a beautiful beach vacation home because it has so much to offer. You are close to the world famous surfing beach, the "cape cod" harbor with restaurants, pubs and a specialty coffee shops, the long walking and fishing pier, and all of the other attractions in San Diego and Orange County. The train station is close by, as well as bike trails right next door, so you really don't need a car. However, if you have a car, we have two reserved spaces in the gated underground garage, that are right across from the elevator.

What makes this property unique

We chose this property because of its amenities (pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, bbqs, and roof top deck), and it is so close to the beach. It is a unique project in that it doesn't allow rentals of less than one month or smoking, so it really has a nice home feel to it, without loud parties, and people constantly moving in and out.
Our condo is on the 1st floor, so you can step out to the pool or jacuzzi easily, or use the large bbq area, or play tennis. You still feel the ocean breezes from our balcony, or private side patio area.
