About this property

Blessed beachhouse 200 steps to the sand

Enjoy a beach day everyday, stroll our sandy boardwalk, watch the sunset, walk in the sand to Old Fisherman's Wharf, bike the rec trail to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Lover's Point...all ideas for a well spent day whilst living at our beach house. Moss Landing, Asilomar State Beach, and world renown Pebble Beach are a 15 min drive away.

Our home is a split level with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 2 smart TVs with cable. Enjoy a BBQ and turn on the firepit in the sandbox backyard. There's adironrack seating for 4 at the firepit and another two nearby. Also there's a tall table in the front balcony to enjoy the peek-a-boo ocean view. Beach chairs and gear are available for use. Street parking is recommended and almost always available right in front of the house.

The kitchen is fully stocked as we cook a lot when we are visiting. There is a coffee pot, electric hot water kettle, Instapot, indoor and outdoor dining ware, full knife set, cooking utensils, leftover containers, you name it.

City rules dictate no short term rentals, however we are open to you staying for a few days few weeks and we just block our calendar out for 30 days. Please confirm rate of stay. We welcome all guests, but at least one adult over 25 years old. Navy post graduate studies, international, and out-of-state winter birds have been part of our guest portfolio.

No pets please.

We are from SoCal and very much enjoy the central coast. The beaches in SoCal are crowded and real estate is rather unaffordable at the beach. We found ourselves pining to return here where people are friendly and genuine, no traffic, beautiful scenery and the emphasis to preserve mother nature and let nature flourish, hiking and getting rugged but still being able to enjoy the luxury of fine dining, golf, and world renown 17 mile drive in picturesque Pebble Beach. After the pandemic, it really sank in that life is short so we pursued this second home. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

What we most enjoy about the immediate neighborhood are the sunsets, the endless plank boardwalks, and being able to view the crescent shaped coast from any bench or picnic table. You also can't beat a 4 minute walk to the sand. We enjoy being able to walk to old Fisherman's Wharf or bike to Monterey Aquarium and Lover's Point. We drove from our sunny weather to foggy Carmel and that's when a neighbor told us we are located on the banana belt!

What makes this property unique

Our property is a corner house with a full backyard, larger than most and designed as a garden oasis. While there are stairs, it is just 5 internal stair steps. Our home has a peek a boo ocean view and we have seen whales from our drive way!
