This charming home is on a quaint corner lot in a centrally located San Diego neighborhood. The wrap around patio and outdoor space is perfect for families with kids or pets to relax and enjoy with fully enclosed fencing. The bright home has a fully stocked kitchen and sweet Jack & Jill bathroom. The private backroom offers a comfortable amount of space for four guests or for two guests who need a separate work space. Located central to airport, beaches, downtown, and cultural sites.
The space
The property is fully fenced with a white cement and wall white iron gates. The living room is a delightfully bright room with large windows and two doors for access to the wrap around patio area. The kitchen is well stocked with all essentials needed. There is a designed work space in the backroom which can be closed off for total privacy. This room also boasts a futon couch that can converted to a full bed for additional guests. The bathroom is dually accessible with a Jack & Jill feature for ease of access in either the back or bedroom. Hygiene essentials are provided! Both bedroom spaces have clothing storage and lamps for nighttime reading.
The patio space has plenty of seating for outdoor eating. There is a raised deck outside of the backroom entry with a gas grill and chairs to enjoy while cooking out. Pomegranate, nectarine, and orange plants all grow inside the wall, as well as a variety of cactus and succulents making it a lovely green space to enjoy.
The laundry closet is located on the opposite side of the house from the main entrance, just past the second living room door on the outside of the house. The washer and dryer are behind an orange door. Laundry detergent pods are in the closet in the living room.
Guest access
The main house can be accessed through the front gate located on 41st Street under the cement arch. The black lock box can be found between the solar and electrical panels around to the left of the front door, past the two living room windows and on the wall across from the long patio table. Code is given within check-in instructions. The house key will open all external doors and an additional key is located inside the house.
The driveway is accessed through the large white gate on Myrtle Ave. The code to open this gate is the same as the lock box code.
Other things to note
There is a small detached studio casita located on the same property, which is being rented out long-term by a tenant. This tenant will access the property only through the large white gate (never through the front gate on 41st Street), so the only shared space with guests is the gate, driveway, and laundry unit. The studio tenant has a small outdoor patio space behind a small privacy wall with lights and a shade sail which is not accessible to guests.
Parking in the driveway is designated for vrbo guests only.
