Back at home, relax in front of the fireplace or on one of the 3 balconies — the kids will love having their own space!

Wedding weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed. The property has a large pool and club house with pool table. We will definitely stay again.

Hi there! We live full-time in San Diego, CA where my husband loves to surf, I run, and our two teen boys enjoy a full life. I grew up near Lake Tahoe and I've always considered it my home, my happy place! It was my dream to own a home here and in 2021 we finally made it happen. It is my goal for our guests to love Tahoe as much as we do and enjoy an amazing experience in our home!

Why they chose this property

If you ask me, Carnelian Bay is the perfect place to be in all of Tahoe. It is central to so much and most areas are within 10-20 minutes away-- East shore and Sand Harbor, Incline Village, Tahoe City, Northstar, Pallisades, West Shore and more. Not too many people know about this area (not touristy!). It is set right in the pine-scented woods but also walking distance from the lake. The home has such a relaxing and peaceful feel due to it's location. You can walk to The Old Post Office for breakfast and then enjoy a Wet Woody cocktail at Gar Woods watching the sunset. The kids can walk to a round of mini golf and play at the arcade too. It's the best!

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because it is so well taken care of in our complex. The managers make sure everything is kept up and spotless. We are lucky to have so many amenities and yet it never feels too busy. We love that we can walk on our local trail in one direction then turn around and the be at the lake and local beach in 5 minutes in the other direction!
