Excellent townhome in spectacular Lake Tahoe location.
Our family of 5 loved our stay at this wonderful townhome in the Tahoe City area. A short walk to a beautiful private beach on Lake Tahoe, and great amenities like a pool and courts, were fantastic. And the location is close to all of the great Tahoe City and Truckee attractions. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our second stay at this property and look forward to going back. The host is very responsive. The property is clean and the location is perfect for all that we were looking to do. The beach access is amazing and the property is beautiful.
We loved every minute of our stay here! It was conveniently located by the lake and pool, perfect for our two young kids. All of the rooms were cozy and there was an awesome kitchen set up! Would love to stay again!
Great place. Little peak of the lake from the deck. About a 5 minute walk down the hill to the pool, tennis, pickle ball, and another few minutes down to the beach. There are chairs and umbrellas available down at the beach. Nice and quiet area. Loved it.
My family enjoyed our Tahoe get-away. The townhouse was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the pool, pickle ball court and of course the private beach.
This complex has everything, but for us the private beach stole the show. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to go around, supper helpful staff to make your Tahoe beach day special.
Stayed to hit up the slopes during a historic blizzard. The property was great, had essentials we needed to deal with the snow and the management was fantastic and flexible given the weather conditions.
Would stay there again!
Great property in a perfect location! Unit was well appointed and in great condition. The North Shore complex was beautiful with an amazing private beach with a dock. There was even an attendant at the beach to get you set up with an umbrella and chairs. We will definitely be returning!
Perfect Location & Super Awesome Property Manager!!

We loved our stay at The Northshore. The condo was updated, clean and quiet. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the easy access to tennis, pickleball and the beach. The beach was quiet, clean and easy. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Love this townhouse!
We have stayed here twice and it's become our home away from home. We have been renting vacation homes at Tahoe for 30 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. It's very quiet, has a beautiful view, and is a pleasant short walk to the lake with a private beach and pier. The three levels allow lots of privacy for our multi-generational family. Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful townhouse close to Lake with private beach access and amenities
Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at his vacation rental. With 3 floors there is space for everyone! The kitchen is newly renovated and has everything you need to cook in. We loved playing games at the kitchen table and also the outdoor patio. It was definitely Tahoe warm one of the days but with fans on the ceilings and in every room, we stayed cool. Beds were very comfortable and house was clean. We loved the views, privacy (it's an end unit) and the short walk to the private beach. The area was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed heading into Tahoe City (short 5 min ride south) or to Kings Beach (north about 15 min). A perfect location on Lake Tahoe! I would definitely recommend this nicely furnished, clean, accommodating and beautiful location vacation rental to friends and family!
We rented this 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome as a consolation for two cancelled trips that would have required flights. We are so glad we did as the stay turned into one of the most relaxing and fun vacations we've taken. The decor of the townhome is inexplicably super dark, across the board, but that's the only slight negative. Beds were comfy, deck was sunny and lovely, kitchen was small but had everything we needed and more. For us, the very best part of this place was access to the private beach that is less than a 10 minute walk down the street. Have an umbrella and chairs set up for you and spend the day enjoying sun, water and sand with others who rent or own in the small community. Easy location to get to Hikes, kayak and raft rentals, and great restaurants in town. The best meal we had was at Christy Hill - every morsel was delicious. Lyle was easy to get in touch with and flexible with check out time which was much appreciated. Overall, a lovely stay. We hope to go back soon.

Thanks, Jennifer. We appreciate your taking the time to share your experience with others. If the "dark decor" comment confuses some who look at the pictures, it is because Jennifer actually stayed in a different unit than the one pictured. We have two townhouses in the same complex and while they are the same floorplan, the decor is different.
The Northshore Townhouses is a great "small" (only 55 units) complex with its own beach, pool, tennis courts, etc.
Again, thanks, Jennifer. We look forward to your next visit. All the best! Lyle

All around great
We had a wonderful experience here! The place was very nice and in proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and resorts. Parking is easy. You can also take an easy walk to the beach (we were the only people there and got to enjoy a sunset to ourselves)! There is also a nice view of the lake from this property. The owners are very communicative and helpful; we received clear easy instructions for check in/out and small helpful notes are left around the place for all the appliances/fireplace/wifi etc.
One of the things that makes this place stand out are the conveniences of fully stocked rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to make 6+ homemade meals, and we found everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. Examples include, ample bath towels, lots of extra blankets, Kleenex in each room, air freshener in each bathroom, shampoo/conditioner, Tupperware, paper towels, and even phone chargers. There is a lot more, but the bottom line is that the owners make an effort to provide you with everything you need to have a comfortable stay.
Would highly recommend! Thank you!

Beach and pool
We took the in laws to Tahoe for a long weekend and needed a nice place with a pool for my daughter. This condo association has a lot of nice amenities including a very nice private beach, tennis courts, bocce ball (bring your own balls), and horse shoes. All of these are in excellent condition. The pool w was refreshing, slightly warmer than the lake.
This condo has been recently renovated and has nice bathrooms and we really liked the king mattress downstairs. The furniture was in good condition and comfortable. The style is sort of mid century cabin - modern and not kitchy but still sort of mountain rustic. There is some pretty nice art on the walls.
My only complaint would be the kitchen which is kind of small, and a left hinged single door refrigerator would be better than the side by side which was awkward. The barbeque is excellent and we enjoyed sitting on the deck.
The condo is in a bedroom community. The only stores you could conceivably walk to is a 7 11. It's a great place to get away from it all. You can walk to the pool and beach, but if you are looking for nightlife or a coffee shop it is a drive. It has some outdoor storage which would be good for skis, but there is no garage for bikes. You can possibly leave your water equipment locked up at the beach. Maybe bring a lock and cable?

Thanks Josh for your thoughtful and helpful review. Thanks also for your suggestions. We strive to make our place as comfortable and convenient as possible. Thanks for pointing out our recent upgrades. BTW- We do provide Bocce Balls (in hall closet). It is a nice quiet community nestled in the trees and close to the beach, pool, tennis, etc. Lots of shopping and restaurants are just 2.5 miles away in Tahoe City. One favorite for dinner is Garwoods in Carnelian Beach (3 miles). Kings Beach offers more shopping and restaurants (7.5 miles). Truckee is 19.2 miles and Reno is about an hour.
Good suggestion on the refrigerator. That will be added to our list for future changes. I will also get some cable locks as there is plenty of room on the entry deck to lock them to a rail. There is a good size locking closet for skis, snow boards, etc. Thanks again for taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate it. Lyle
Our family enjoyed staying at this property at Northshore. We thought our unit was closer to the lake than it was, but once we trecked to the beach, everything we needed was there and we practically had the beach to ourselves. The property is close to Tahoe City restaurants and shops. The unit was adequately appointed but it would have been nice to have had beach towels and toiletries since some in our party flew in.
