An upscale villa at Trapp Family Lodge

A well-planned mudroom leads to a beautiful and bright kitchen stocked with high-end appliances, dry bar with wine fridge, and hidden pantry for storing small appliances and goods. The lovely dining area with custom seating is a wonderful spot to linger a little longer after a shared meal. Sonos bars are installed on all TV's for easy entertaining. A wall of windows with spectacular views commands attention in the living area while thoughtfully selected furnishings and a gas fireplace envelop you in comfort. The adjacent three season heated sunroom walks out to a private slate patio with Adirondacks chairs in front of a built-in gas firepit—and the expansive views are your backdrop. Warm and whimsical touches are found throughout the interior space, from the powder room wallpaper to the artwork.

The primary bedroom is located on the main level and features an inviting king-sized bed layered in luxurious linens, a custom closet, and an ensuite bathroom. Two guest rooms are found on the upper level—one with a king bed and the other with a queen and twin bed—and share a large full bath. Each space in this villa has been beautifully decorated with thoughtful consideration.

This Trapp Villa is a Stowe destination within itself! During your stay, enjoy full complimentary access to all the resort has to offer—miles of hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country ski trails, tennis, croquet pitch, two swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, 18-hole disc golf, rock climbing wall, and a fitness center! Yoga classes, massage therapy, and sleigh rides are also available for a fee. All 2,500 pastoral and wooded acres of the property have been thoughtfully planned and cared for—don't miss the self-guided offerings, Music in the Meadow, and sampling a cold one at von Trapp Brewery. Once you've worked up an appetite, enjoy one of the many dining options—the Bierhall and Kaffeehaus are favorites! A complimentary resort shuttle is also available. Of course, the rest of Stowe has so much to offer if only you can pull yourself away!

Perfect Paradise!

From the moment we stepped in the door, we knew that our stay would be fantastic. The villa was spotless, even smelling new, and the view was gorgeous. We were lucky to have some fresh snow on the ground and were able to snowshoe some of Von Trapp Family Lodge's extensive trails. We used both the outdoor gas grill and the gas firepit. Wow! The details of the location were spot on down to the instant filtered hot and cold water at the tap. We watched the total solar eclipse from the small patio and I can not imagine a better place to be. We are beyond grateful that we could have such a beautiful experience in such an amazing location.

Comfortable villa

This is a newly constructed Villa on the campus of the Von Trapp Family Lodge. Rey comfortable and attractive, great location. We had a problem with the hot water heater that could not be adequately remedied in the time of our stay. The management company needs work on their customer relations as they pretty much refused to acknowledge the hardships this created for my family. Our expectations are that we have working hot water on a premium property and they refused to acknowledge or offer an alternative for my family. Once this issue is fixed, I would say that this is a nice place to rent.
