8 people stayed at this property the week of thanksgiving.There were some issues with cleanliness and other things. The beds are so uncomfortable that some of us purchased mattress toppers. Upon stripping the beds to put them on, we discovered a large pee stain on one of the mattress covers and a blood stain and a pee stain on the other bed’s mattress cover. Some of our group walked in the house barefoot and ended up with black soles by the end of the day. The curtains in the bedrooms were thin, white, and gauzy which wouldn’t block any light, making it very difficult to sleep in. In the master bedroom there’s a glass door that goes out to the 3rd floor porch and it has no cover whatsoever, which lets in even more light plus there’s no privacy. The tvs in the bedrooms turned on, but when anyone went to log into any of the apps they received an error message. Only the tv in the living room worked. Two kayaks came with the house but neither was functional. When we tried to use one we discovered that the hull was full of water, meaning it had a leak, and its seat was broken. The other kayak was missing its seat completely so we ended up renting kayaks. The microwave worked but was so tiny and light that when opened it would slide across the counter.The sliding door to the shared bathroom would not stay closed. Outdoor furniture seemed worn out & cheap. Too for what you get. Would not stay again.
