Classic Island Cottage

Spacieux, charmant 1,896 chalet au sommet de calme, sentier magique. Formé d'un «arbre-top" pacifique sentir, mais est seulement 2-3 min. marcher à la boutique de l'ßle d'épicerie, restaurants, café, crÚme glacée, ferry (Whole Foods offre!) et 8 min. à pied à sable. Aussi pratique pour les mariages à l'Inn. Détendez-vous sur les vérandas ou en plein air, lire un livre par la cheminée à gaz dans la nuit, grill de votre dßner sur la grande terrasse arriÚre ou de la pop pour Portland pour une excursion d'une journée sur le ferry. Nouveaux canapés, de nouveaux lits dans trois chambres (deux complÚte, une reine) et diverses mises à jour font un charmante maison-loin-de-maison pour vos vacances détendue de l'ßle. Bienvenue sur la cÎte du Maine!

We traveled to Peaks Island for a wedding so really only used the home to sleep and shower. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. It’s an older home without a lot of frills but worked well for what we needed. Communication with the host was great so we knew exactly what to expect.

Had to book a quick two night stay in the Portland Area and found this great little cottage. Absolutely charming. Very comfortable beds and cozy comforters. Can't beat the location. Only one suggestion -- first night was pretty cold for early October and the space heaters took a while to warm up the place. So keep an eye on the overnight temps when you pack. That said, we had a wonderful stay.

Just lovely

Great location (quiet but close to everything). Very comfortable and relaxing spot with an excellent porch, there is even a peek of blue from the rocking chair. Hosts were super communicative and helpful!

Loved the cottage, has great character, very clean and convenient location to ferries, restaurants. Best part of the island was Sandy Beach for the kids and riding the golf cart around the beautiful island!

Beautiful place!

So clean, peaceful, beautiful and family friendly! We stayed with our 3 year old and 4 month old and the house was very friendly to babies and toddlers. The location is great, and hosts are very accommodating and responsive! Definitely will return!

Magpie’s Nest

This rustic, spacious cottage was very comfortable and centered close to the shore, town and nestled privately. The kitchen/dining room is lovely and nostalgic. The living area is pretty, simple and comfortable as are both front and back decks. The master bed is very comfortable and upstairs overall quite pleasant. We had a lovely stay!

We bought this place to set down roots on the East Coast again, to reconnect our family with family and friends in the summer time and because we love Maine. We hope you will love this cottage and your time on Peaks.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Some of our favourite things about this cottage are its spaciousness and character, the quiet and friendliness of the neighborhood, and the closeness to the ferry, stores and Sandy Beach. Peaks Island itself is just so lovely and peaceful and close to the awesome city of Portland.
