About this property

"Dune Our Thing" is a newly built home just over an hour from downtown Chicago, being offered for the first time as a vacation rental in 2024. You'll feel secluded, surrounded by trees in a peaceful setting just one mile to the Lake Michigan shore, yet still close to all of the shopping, restaurant, casinos, and activities that the region has to offer.

This home features 3 bedrooms, all with queen sized beds - the perfect adults retreat. The main floor bedroom features an en-suite full bath. Two additional bedrooms upstairs are separated by a comfortable family room with smart TV. There is a second full bathroom on the 2nd floor. Heated floors and individually controlled HVAC in each bedroom allow each guest to experience maximum comfort.
Massive picture windows in most rooms let the outside in. Nature lovers will be in heaven, watching the deer meander by while you enjoy your morning coffee.

Outside, you'll find a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs - the perfect spot to stargaze after a long day at the beach. This home also includes a gas grill. Feel free to park your boat, RV, or jet skis in the ample driveway area. Dune Our Thing is just west of the Michigan/Indiana border, closest to Michigan City & La Porte on the Indiana side, and New Buffalo on the Michigan side.
