A Brief Overview

A great condominium, close to the free shuttle stops, and one block off old Main St! A brand new kitchen, with two Master Suites (large bedroom with attached full bathrooms), make it more comfortable than a hotel or box-like condo. You can relax in the condo with a steam room, Jacuzzi, and foosball table right upstairs. Lots of parks, stores, restaurants, and even the Frisco Marina are less than a 5 minute walk away. Park the car and enjoy! You are right where you should be!!

The Perfect Condo

A wonderful second floor unit with over 1,800 sq. ft. of space to stretch out. Perfect to invite your friends over for dinner or maybe just a cocktail before you go out on the town. But with a brand new kitchen and grill, you will enjoy cooking for everyone! Light a real wood fire and listen to it pop and crackle as you prepare your feast. A nice way to relax after your busy day on the slopes.

If you are still feeling a little bit stiff and sore from the day's activities, the steam room (easily seats 4) and the intimate 2-person Jacuzzi, can melt all your soreness away. Afterwards, have fun with the kids playing foosball or one of the many games. Luckily everything is right in the unit, so you don't even need to put on your jacket! Tuck the kids into the queen size bed, full sized futon and a set of twin bunk beds. You can have 6 kids in beds and still have plenty of room for inflatable mattresses if need be. It's all set up with an entertainment center, DVD player, and game console.

Now all you have to do is stumble downstairs and crawl into bed. With two large Master Suites (king bed, attached full bathroom, and large closets), you can put your friends in the other suite (queen bed, private full bath, and enormous closets, one with washer/dryer)! You and your friends each get one of the suites (Blue River Suite and the Ten Mile Creek Suite) and with the kids upstairs, everyone has the privacy they are looking for. Sleep well with warm flannel sheets on a firm bed with a comfort topper. See you in the morning.

The Perfect Location in Town

As you know, location is everything! We looked long and hard to find a condo in just the right location for you. Just one block off of Main St., you can easily stroll to all the best things Frisco has to offer. Unique shops, restaurants and bars line the street from the Marina all the way to the Post Office. Just 273 steps gets you to Kemosabe for sushi (rolls to die for!) or Silverheels for awesome steaks. Another 100 steps to Peppino's for perfect pizza (even gluten free) or Ollie's for one of the best burgers in town. The finer restaurants are about a block farther away. After dinner and you walk back home, you won't hear anything from Main St. keeping you up all night! Hit the pillow and you are out! We think it is better than being right on the main drag.

The Perfect Town

As you likely have determined by now, Frisco is absolutely the best place to stay for your winter vacation. You are a short shuttle ride from Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, and Keystone, and only a 30 minute drive from Vail. Unless you need a ski-in / ski-out chalet that sleeps 35, this is the location for you! Frisco is a normal mountain town where you don't have to worry about the latest fashion trends or selling your first born child just to have some time away. We hope we can give you everything you need to thoroughly enjoy your vacation.

And don't forget Frisco as a vacation destination in the summer. It's even better!

About Jim

We are Colorado natives and spent two years looking for just the right place in Frisco. Fed up with the I-70 traffic, we knew that others would be interested in finding a way to avoid the crowds! We sincerely hope you will want to visit again and again. Winter or summer, it is one of the best places in Colorado within an hour and a half of Denver.

Why Jim chose Northwest

There are four reasons we love this location:

1. We are on the original side of Frisco with all the character provided by the unique stores, restaurants, and shops. Sure the bigger stores like WalMart and Safeway are nearby if you need them, but we didn't want to be living next to them.

2. Our location is only a few steps to the only free shuttle bus stop that serves both Copper Mountain (west) and Breckenridge/ Keystone (east). All the other stops (except the transportation center) only get one bus, which naturally limits your choices. And with Vail and Arapahoe Basin an easy drive, you have 5 world class mountains at your doorstep!

3. Scattered Pines is a smaller complex with only 8 units (2 buildings w/ 4 units in each). This makes it quieter and much more like your home than a condo. Relax knowing that you don't have to mow the lawn or shovel the walk!

4. We wanted to offer you more than a hotel room in disguise. With plenty of room to stretch out, you can have friends over and not be squished together.

What makes this condo unique

The summer has been terrific with our ability to get up, pour a cup 'o joe and take the dog for a walk. There is an awesome park two blocks away with the Ten Mile Creek, a sand volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, and a few ponds for the dog to swim in. When we don't feel like moving too quickly, we head to the Butterhorn Cafe (or one of the other breakfast spots) for a leisurely brunch. Then we either hop on the bikes and ride to Dillon, Copper Mountain or Breckenridge along the bike path, or play some tennis on the public courts just across the street.

Great location and wonderful owner!

We stayed here for the 4th of July holiday and had a great experience. The owner is super easy to work with and very responsive, the condo is well equipped and the location can't be beat. We were keeping our boat at the marina and it was a very short walk to Frisco Bay and the town's main street. The condo is very clean and was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Thanks Jim!

Awesome place to stay!

Great place to stay. Had 5 guys in our group who were skiing at Copper for the week. This is less than 1/2 block to the bus, so this was a perfect location. The unit has all new appliances, was clean and everything worked. One minor request though! The unit has HDTV but was not able to utilize the HD as the WiFi speed was only 2.3mbps, just barely enough to watch SD movies on Netflix or Vudu(my account). The pocket door was missing on the second bedroom on the 1st level but Jim said that it was going to be replaced. Would Stay there again.

Great location. Clean and plenty of room

The location is amazing. Walking distance to town. Close to 70 so you can get to any mountain within minutes. Unit is clean and roomy. We stayed a month but had visitors, and there was plenty space

All the reviews say Jim's place is great. It is. It is an excellent central location for a Summit County ski trip. Handy to several ski areas. Very comfortable and spacious. The condo was well stocked. Grocery store, ski rental, liquor store just off I-70 on the way to the condo. Good supply of firewood was a big plus. Very short two block walk to Main Street Frisco which presents a good variety of drinking and dining options. (Ollies was a great place to watch to watch a super Super Bowl.) Jim was very responsive to all inquiries. A great host.

Owner's Response: Steve, I am so glad you liked our condo and everything worked out well for you. (and I hope the skiing was good as well). We think we have a nice place in a super location. There is one bus stop in town that services both shuttles going to Copper Mountain, as well as shuttles to Breckenridge directly. So that is where we started our search for a condo and we think we got very lucky when we found it. Please come back again. Frisco in the summertime is even better. We are a short walk to the marina and all the lake activities.

Two blocks from a beautiful park next to the river where you can grill out, play sand volleyball, horseshoes, or just throw rocks in the river. Various small lakes and ponds around the park make it a great place to walk the dog or just explore. Always with a backdrop of various mountains.
