Super cute cabin

The place is really nice and in a perfect location for a chill ski weekend. Really well maintained place with nice furniture and comfortable beds. Only two small issues we had were the stove being a bit finicky and not wanting to stay lit and the hot tub didn’t always maintain tempereture

Absolutely Amazing Property

This is hands-down one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. Everything about it is awesome. Especially the Geckos. We stayed in February to ski Alpine Meadows and luckily the Sherwood Chair was open. This prevents having to DRIVE DOWN TO LAKE TAHOE AND BACK TO ALPINE MEADOWS ROAD TO ACCESS THE SKI RESORT. If Sherwood is running it's a 20 minute gradual walk on the road in ski boots to get to the Sherwood Chair on the backside of Alpine. There is also a dropoff area there to let people out. It would be great to have the "Resident Parking Pass" because there are a few spots up there to park in but it's patrolled according to the signs. The house itself has a long staircase up to the front door but man once you get inside, it's fantastic. Wolf Gourmet cooktop, stone slab kitchen center island, Sub-Zero fridge, built-in surround sound, Blu-Ray DVD player, smart TV, JBL Bluetooth speaker, computer station with printer, massive dinner/game table, front deck, back yard goes into a wilderness (it's possible to ski back to the house from Alpine), GLASS ENCLOSED INDOOR HOT TUB that gets up to 104, great mattresses and linens, a wood-burning fireplace with...get this...A WOOD-FIRED PIZZA OVEN BUILT INTO IT! Bring raw pizza dough and all the toppings. No condiments so bring your own. There's a padlock on the hot tub you'll need the code for that, which wasn't provided and Tahoe Getaways close at 5 I think. Coffee grinder and maker on site. The team at Tahoe Getaways were extremely helpful and attentive. I cannot wait to book this place again!
