Bungalow at the Lake - enjoy lake life within driving distance of the beach!

Bring your family to this charming bungalow, within walking distance of beautiful Lake Waccamaw.
We have 2 kayaks available to rent by the day for exploring the lake. Burning Lake Trading Company in town has golf carts for rent.
Bring your own boat or jet ski to put in at the nearby public boat access. Bring your bicycle for beautiful and peaceful lakeview rides (highly recommend)!
The Lake Waccamaw State Park has piers, lake access & trails only 4 miles away. You’re also staying in a perfect location to take a day trip to NC beaches (Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Southport, Kure Beach) or in SC at Myrtle Beach and all it has to offer.
The bungalow has a main floor studio-style room, which includes two recliners, a queen bed, the full kitchen, table & chairs, laundry and private full bath. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a day bed with a pull-out trundle bed (two twins). Use the Roku TV downstairs or use your own devices to stream using the 5G internet.
The bungalow isn’t listed as handicap accessible because there is a step to get in. However, my Mom uses a walker and she can still navigate the entry step and the downstairs interior pretty easily. The shower has a 2” rim, so it’s easy to step in and out.
Guests have access to the bungalow and parking area; parking & yard are shared with the main house. The bungalow has its own front patio with chairs and table, a fire pit and a gas grill that you are free to use.
We live in the main house on the property, and we will be available to help with any issues you may have. We will leave you alone during your stay, but please let us know if you need anything. The bungalow has a keypad entry, and I will send you instructions on the day of check-in for entry.
Note: this property is not lakefront, but it is within walking distance of the lake. You are only able to access the lake via the public boat and pier access points.
We do have children and a dog who may be in our yard, at times.
I try to keep my rates low on purpose, but if you want to stay for an extended period of time, I am willing to give a discount. Please send an inquiry via private message.
We have a large family and we want to be budget and family-friendly! If you have more kiddos than the number of guests allowed, we welcome you and you can fit them in any way you’d like ☺️. Just let me know how many children you have and what you might need so we can be prepared!
