Tranquility Cove Lake House

Summary:

Yes, we are pet friendly & secluded here at the end of our road! Our property is also at the end of the lake inlet giving privacy from boat traffic.

Plenty of space for everyone with 3,128 Square Ft Lake House with 7 bedrooms & 3 baths! Just a few steps and you will be in our open concept living room to the dining and the dining to the kitchen!



The Space:

WATER LEVELS:

Please note that the Army Corps of Engineers continually adjusts the lake levels throughout the season. Currently the lake is low. If you have a boat, you may have difficulty accessing the dock until the water level comes back up.



CAR CHARGER

Just arrived and have an electric vehicle? We have you covered with an Emporia EV Charger Level 2, 48 amp Outdoor Electric Car Charger (You Will Need a Tesla Adapter).



Where to cook?

Upstairs we have a fully kitchen with all full sized appliances, Traditional Drip and Keurig Coffee Makers, Coffee Grinder, 6-Quart Crock-Pot Slow Cooker, Blender

Downstairs we have a kitchenette with Full size fridge / freezer and Traditional Drip, coffee grinder, and Keurig Coffee Makers



Outside we have a Weber Propane Grill - we supply the propane!

DOCK

We have a private swim dock which is the perfect place to launch a kayak or just sit by the lake!



WATER LEVELS

As of November 1, 2025 we do not have water at our dock. Lake Levels fluctuate so we cannot guarantee future water levels but typically we have around 3 feet during the spring & summer. During the fall and winter you can still launch the kayaks by walking along the shoreline to the water.



PATHWAY TO DOCK

The path to the dock is paved and reasonably flat.

CLEANING:

We clean and prepare our property for guests between 10AM check out and 4PM check in.



LATE CHECK OUT / EXTENDING YOUR STAY

Extending your check-out past 10am will affect our ability to have the house ready for 4pm check-in. We can alway look to see if the following night is available for rent if you would like to extend your stay to the following day at 10am.

The property was above and beyond what I was expecting. There was plenty of room for our 3-family gathering. Family Christmas

Our family chose this location because it was centrally located between all our cities, but boy, were we pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this property turned out. I only wish the rain hadn't kept us from enjoying the fabulous porches and fire pit more, but the great kitchen & den, plus all the ample sleeping areas made for the perfect Christmas getaway.

Great Lake house

We had a family reunion at this house and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had teenagers, grandparents and a dog. The convenience of the dock made it easy for us to enjoy fishing, water skiing, and tubing daily during our stay! no putting the boat in the water and taking it back out each evening. The reality group did a great job communicating with us while we were there and the home was extremely clean when we arrived. The beds were very soft and comfy. If you enjoy a firm mattress you might want to talk with the reality group before booking. Overall it was a wonderful reunion and the house was fabulous! We would definitely stay again!

Tranquility Cove

My family had a reunion at this lovely house. Eleven of us were very comfortable. We were able to fish and kayak from the dock. We toasted marshmallows at the fire pit. Tugaloo State park is very close by, with a very nice beach and a fun mini golf course. The house is very close to main roads for easy access to the surrounding area. Don’t miss the delicious donuts purchased in Fair Play Georgia. I highly recommend this home.

Family Escape to Lakeside Paradise

This lake house is exceptional! The house layout is roomie and flowing - basically 2 separate & complete living spaces with beautiful quality furniture & all the amenities needed for a week away at the lake. The house was spotless and the owners made sure there were extras of everything including coffee pods, soap, shampoo, etc. The house is bright with views of the lake from many rooms. The house is situated at the end of the cove - such a short walk to the dock and unlike most locations, there was no steep decline to get to the lake. The owners improved the area all around the house with cement, which made it easy on the roomy driveway, on the walk down to the dock and around the fun fire pit. My family enjoyed taking out the kayaks which were available for us to use. We most enjoyed the extremely Large game table with many games available and comfortable gaming chairs ... we spent every single night playing assorted games for hours! Beautiful memories that we will cherish forever. The property managers were incredibly kind and helpful upon request which we appreciated. It is very important to use your GPS to get into and out of the neighborhood - as you may find yourself on a few unpaved difficult roads. We cannot wait to book this house again!
