Host was very responsive and the property was clean with a great history. Great to come back to after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Great location between Golden and Boulder.
Great communication, tons of helpful tips from the owner. Cabin was rustic but well appointed.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
It was a beautiful drive out to the cabin and location was okay for visiting the Golden area. The rustic cabin was right off the highway in a small little oval of cabins/trailers. The interior of the cabin was clean. The mattress was very soft (not firm). Cookware was limited and old, the stove top worked but not the oven. TV was acting up. The host responded a couple of times that a team member would reach out but nobody reached out during our stay.
Great place to stay. A lot to do around the area. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending people to stay here.

We enjoyed this cozy cabin with great access to parks, trails, Golden and the Denver area.while in the area for a concert at Fiddlers.
The cabin had all the necessities, was clean, and easily became ‘home’ away from home.
I would definitely stay here again.

Zero communication from guest. Zero details on "dissapointment" (sic / misspelled). Posted review 2 months after did not stay there. See other reviews please as this is not fair. Photos are all real as I took them myself.
A rustic cabin that Rex (owner) is in the process of renovating bit by bit. Most important for us, the bed was comfortable and the sleeper sofa one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Location is close to the road so a little noisy, but not bad inside. Rex could not have been easier to work with.

Glad that you saw a bear on our mountain and that the Lewis & Clark Cabin was "A nice base for day trips" and "bed was comfortable and the sleeper sofa one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on." Hope you can return again to 1 of our 6 mountain cabins or our 12 beach homes. Regards, Rex
If you like the character of old buildings with basic modern comforts this place is for you. The cabin is both charming and comfortable with easy access to the city too. Couple that with the gurgling creek, wildflowers, birds and butterflies, and a deck that's perfectly positioned to watch the sunrise over the mountains and you almost couldn't ask for more. It is next to the highway so you can hear traffic but its still quieter than in town. The owner is very nice, was on site every day of our stay but unobtrusive, and very responsive to any issues.
