Misleading
The listing portrays this neighborhood as being within walkable distance to great businesses, and super convenient. This is not the case. The neighborhood is ROUGH. Trash everywhere, broken glass, high police/crime area. Parking is a nightmare. It’s all street parking, and there is NOTHING available. When I contacted the property owner, she told me to just “wait for something to open up” and “don’t worry about it”. The code to get into the building has to be put in a very specific way, which I was NOT informed of, so I had to wait until someone came out. When we got into the unit, it was 91° INSIDE the apartment. The central air does not work, and none of the window units were on. It took almost the entire two day stay to cool off to 73°. The unit was not super clean, and had crumbs/hair on the floor. The inside of the building itself was absolutely awful, smelled terrible, and was filthy. The owner was nice, but there were issues with how the stay was portrayed in the pictures vs how it actually was.
