Este hermoso apartamento de 4 dormitorios para 4 personas se encuentra en el primer piso de un edificio histórico de 1880. Completamente renovado pero con el encanto de los pisos de madera originales y la espaciosa cocina y sala de estar.
La cocina ha sido remodelada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y piso de baldosas. El baño tiene piso de baldosas y una nueva ducha de azulejos. Wi-fi y televisión por cable. Hay un encantador espacio al aire libre con zona de estar para relajarse y disfrutar de una copa de vino o una taza de café.
Estamos ubicados a minutos del Museo de Arte de Portland, numerosos restaurantes de todo tipo, museos, varios locales de música maravillosos y el centro de Congress Street. Estamos a una corta distancia a pie de Hadlock Field, hogar de los Portland SeaDogs,
 y el Old Port District, conocido por sus exclusivas tiendas y restaurantes. The property was beautifully furnished and well equipped. Felt like we were staying in someone's home. Hosts were gracious and welcoming, but otherwise unobtrusive. Central location in historic district with easy access to Portland attractions.

We had the most amazing time in Portland and so glad we chose to stay here! This was the cutest apartment with the sweetest hosts. They gave amazing recommendations also! This is located in a great neighborhood and walkable to anywhere you want to check out in the city. We would 100% recommend staying here to anyone, especially couples looking for a nice quiet getaway!

My husband and I booked this for our anniversary weekend getaway and we could not have been happier! Sue and Barry are so sweet and provided excellent communication and recommendations to us. The location cannot be beat! We walked everywhere and it was about a 20 min walk to Old Port...not bad at all and lots of great sites along the way! My husband and I agree that it's a good thing we walked everywhere b/c the food in the area is absolutely amazing and we ate the entire time :) Loved our weekend getaway and definitely plan to return - there's more to eat! (Also, one of my favorite parts - we made friends with the cat next door, Mama Cat. She's so sweet and greeted us every night as we walked back from dinner).

The property, location and amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we could need. The apartment was within close proximity to restaurants, shops and the many fun activities in Portland. We were happy to have our own parking space. Easy and readily available communication with Sue and Barry if needed . I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Portland.

Unfortunately the area is not what I would consider walkable. The city itself is very spread out and not easy to navigate. The photo on the site must be old as the front of the house now is overgrown with plants. We loved our hosts and the property itself though.

Our stay at Sue's property was exceptional. The neighborhood was perfect - walking distance from Tandem and several other Portland gems. Sue also provided recommendations for things we should do while in Portland (including taking the ferry to Peaks Island, which we loved!) I will definitely book Sue's property again during my next trip to Portland.

Absolutely amazing hospitality and location!!! Met upon arrival by the owner, was given the layout of the city and even received a gift for our 20th anniversary!! Centrally located to everything, we were able to walk most everywhere in Portland. The house was gorgeous, lots of room and the back deck was key to relaxing after our long days. Parking across the street and a great neighborhood for deep sleep at night. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an awesome location at a beautiful property with those little touches from the owners that make it extra special!!!

The property was very clean and in a great walkable location. Sue and Barry gave us a fantastic recommendation for Boda (Thai) and helped explain the city. We also had an assigned parking space and the mattress was super comfortable!

Maine Vacation

Sue and Barry were excellent hosts who own and manage a very comfortable and fully supplied vacation rental (they thought of everything) within walking distance to just about anywhere in the greater Portland area. Their restaurant and attraction recommendations were spot on and we enjoyed them all.

This was our favorite stay on our trip. The house and location were excellent, and Sue (property owner) was incredibly nice and helpful checking us in and planning our sightseeing. Hopefully we can make it back some day, and we will search Portland on Avon FIRST.

Stayed for 3 nights.

Loved this one bedroom apartment. Easy walking distance to restaurants, parks and the Art Museum. Went to waterfront downtown several times for fun activities and food including taking the Ferry to Peaks Island.

What a wonderful little spot!

Sue and Barry were so accommodating, we have never been treated so well staying at a VRBO. They showed us local spots, told us great places for food and drinks, extremely kind and knowledgeable of the area. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Good Location

Hosts were very gracious. Lodging was clean and well stocked for everyday needs. Nice having your own parking spot close by. Easy access to freeways. 20 minute walk to town thru grand old houses. Make sure you take the Lighthouse Tour at the port.

Location,location, location! After living in the country, when our children left home, we downsized and moved in to the city. We fell in love with the charm of our Victorian building and being in Portland, where everything is convenient and exciting!
