Enjoy a surprisingly private, quiet setting on Wells Beach. Just two attached Beach vacation homes situated on our private acre of beach dune by Jetty. Our private path through the dune grass leads right to beautiful, sandy Wells Beach. Wells Beach is a large, long ocean beach perfect for swimming, body surfing, surfing, boogie boarding, surfcasting, jogging, walking, birdwatching, and fishing off the jetty. Next door to your vacation home is also a calm harbor beach and the Well's Jetty, perfect for scenic strolls and fishing. Walk across the street to Wells harbor for boating, kayaking, fishing and enjoying the gorgeous sunsets. Sunrises are outstanding right from the home. Enjoy fishing off the jetty or surf casting on the beach all steps from your front door. This no smoking, no pets beach house, is a perfect setting for families and couples .

Awesome location, surrounded by water and enough room for the entire family. We had a great time staying here being so close to the beach and Webhannet river. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the outdoor patio grilling up food and having a good time. The owners were extremely nice and very accommodating. Will definitely book again for next year.

Great access to the beach along the path lined with beach roses. House was clean and neat and the owners were pleasant to deal with.

Close to the river and a very short walk to beautiful Wells beach. Nice view of the water. Very quiet and comfortable, nice yard to eat out. Perfect for a family with full bathrooms on both second and third floor. Fully supplied and close to all services. Kim and Stephen are very nice and available hosts.

We just returned from a week at Stephen and Kim's beautiful house on Wells beach. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our family both inside and outside. The sunrise from the bedrooms were amazing!!! I hope to stay again next year.

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Windsong Unit 2 was a great rental. The property was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with every necessary utensil. It was quite convenient to have 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. We enjoyed the yard, eating outside on the large picnic table almost every night. The location was ideal, a private path through the backyard led to the large beach. It made it very easy to run back to the house with young children. A small beach off of the nearby parking lot was also perfect for the children. Kim and Stephen were very easy to work with. Kim gave me her cell phone number to text her if I needed. Although they were next door, we had complete privacy. It was a wonderful family vacation and we are looking forward to repeating it next year.

perfect vacation home/spot

I have been vacationing at Windsong for over 14 years with my family and we treasure the house and location. It is perfect for one or two families because it has 3 floors, each with its own bathroom. The house is perfect and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation including an outdoor deck, grill and a spectacular view. We stay for a week every year and never leave the location because it is so beautiful. We spend our days at the beach and we grill every night thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere. It is located within view and a stone's throw of three different beaches. The main beach is incredible with its expanse, soft sand and exciting surf. "Little beach" is equally as beautiful but smaller with very calm water. The owners, Kim and Steve, are terrific. The are extremely helpful, nice, and accommodating. Also, extremely generous in offering beach chairs, etc. to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Windsong has become a second home to my family and me and we treasure our annual vacations more than anything else. It is a beautiful vacation spot anytime during the year.

Maine Beach Vacation

Great location and cottage. Plenty of sleep space and bathrooms. Open concept living space and kitchen. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Clean and well cared for cottage. 5 min walk to the beach. Owners were very helpful, and immediately responded to any questions we had.

We enjoy each moment! All day at the beach, great supper outside or inside the house, and finish around a nice fire just near the house surrounded by roses! Wonderfull time! Thx

Amazing beach week!

We had a wonderful stay in Maine and enjoyed every moment of our beach week. Kim is so easy to work with and was incredibly helpful during our stay. The property has water views and is just steps to the beach -- it was perfect for our stay with our kids. I highly recommend this rental in Wells!

Absolutely Beautiful

We loved our stay at Windsong, and would love to return. It was beautiful everywhere we turned. We had some disappointing weather but since the ocean was right there, we still enjoyed the beauty of the area and felt like we had a good amount of beach time. The home was clean and spacious. The owners were great to work with!

Fall Girls Weekend

We loved our stay and how close it was to the beach. The unit felt like a home, well appointed with everything we needed. There was a lot of room to spread out with 7 women. The 2 bedrooms and 3rd floor bedroom were spacious. We loved the outside patio with table and chairs as well as lounge chairs and grill. The weather was pretty warm so we were able to enjoy the outside space. A few of us even used the outside shower on a warm day. The best part was our morning and evening walks on the beach. Kim and Steve were great about getting back to us with any questions. All of us are looking forward to coming back next year.

Magical family reunion/vacation in Wells Beach

The location of this house at the end of Atlantic Avenue could not be better. We have visited Wells Beach most years after Labor Day for about 10 years. This was our first experience right on the beach, and we absolutely loved it. We loved taking our granddaughter (age 2) down the private path to the beach and watching her pure delight playing there. We loved pushing her in her stroller around the parking lot in the early morning and early evening, looking at the boats in the harbor and the birds, and feeling the gentle breeze. The house has plenty of room to spread out - there were 5 adults and one child in our family, plus we had a couple as guests one night. There are 2 and 1/2 bathrooms - we all had privacy. It was larger than it looks in the pictures. I am pretty much a clean freak and I was comfortable in this house. It is very well maintained, invites you in, and you have everything you want or need to relax. The owners responded quickly when I had a couple of questions. My family recommends this house for a wonderful gathering place. We had a couple of meals in, but we really enjoy going to Billy's, Hobbs' Harbor House, Federal Jack's, Fox's Lobster House at the Nubble, and anywhere to sample lobster rolls. Thank you, Kim and Stephen. You have something really special here.

Clean and quiet paradise

Easy access to the beach. There is a little beach at the marina perfect for young kids and another path for the bigger beach. We went once to the "big" beach but we prefered the small one next to the marina. We also used the kayaks from the beach house once we found the life jackets :) Perfect location, we had wonderful temperature so we were able to eat outside every day. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved that there is hot water in the outdoor shower ! Kim is very available to help, she answers very promptly to her text messages. We will be back next year !

Perfect location, quiet and convenient.

The home is in excellent condition. The amount of beds and baths worked out perfect for our large family. Even though we had a couple of very rainy days, we felt very comfortable and at home just relaxing inside. Love the area and access to beaches.

Great Place to stay at the Windsong Unit 2

We found the location of this cottage to be one of the best on Wells Beach. Being near the end of Atlantic Ave with the jetty and the beach parking lot nearby made using the cottage convenient with a lot of family in Wells the same week. The private walkway to the beach with beach chairs included was another big plus about this cottage. The Windsong was clean with plenty of beds and space to sleep. 2 1/2 baths was also great, hard to find in a cottage. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary for cooking meals and the gas grill was new. The outside patio was great for eating and relaxing outside. Having a washer/dryer was a big plus, and also Wifi worked great. Working with Kim and Stephen was a breeze and they were very welcoming when we got there and throughout the week. I will definitely be back next year!!

Great Location - Big Home with lots of amenities - We Loved It

Kim and Stephen are great hosts and we had an absolute blast at their Wells Beach condo. The property is on the quiet end of the street, near the Jetty - so you get much less noise at night, and a much less crowded part of the beach during the day. They have a private path to the beach, which makes running back to eat lunch and grab more beach toys (a two year old can never have enough buckets and shovels btw) super easy. The back yard is small, but very private and accommodating - with nice big table, gas grill and an outdoor shower that helps you keep the sand off your feet and out of the condo. At the end of Atlantic Ave, you have some cute shops and a nice little arcade that my son loved. You can be at the grocery store in 5 minutes, and find probably 100 good restaurants in less than 15 minutes. Ogunquit is close by, so is Kennebunkport and York. Took a drive to the Childrens Museum in Portland and made it in 40 minutes. Location, location, location. Kim and Stephen are super easy to work with. They are helpful and accommodating when you ask, but totally stay out of your way when you dont. Overall we had such a great time and are already exploring dates for next summer. Thanks again for your hospitality.

wonderful vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Windsong very much. All conveniences were available & the place was clean. We could make complete meals or cook on the grill or go out for fresh seafood ( my favorite choice). Hearing the ocean at night & star gazing was great And, of course---the beach during the day!!! That was the best part of all. We would definitely come back & recommend Windsong to friends & family. Thank you.

Great Family Vacation

We spent a week at Windsong as a way to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary with our sons, their wives and our three year old granddaughter. We have been coming to Wells for long weekends for many years but this was the first time we had spent a full week there. The house was comfortably set up for our family group. The location was perfect. Wells Beach was just a short walk away from the house. We spent mornings at the beach, walked back to the house for lunch, and returned in the afternoon for more beach time. We liked being just a short distance from Wells Harbor and a couple of small beaches on the waterway leading to it. We enjoyed the grill and outdoor dining area at the house. We also liked the fact that it was located a short drive away from many area restaurants, a shopping plaza and grocery store, mini golf courses, playgrounds, and great ice cream shops. There was plenty to do in this busy area but Windsong's location at the end of Atlantic Avenue made it feel nicely quiet especially in the evenings after the beach goers departed. All of us agreed that we have never had a week's vacation speed by so quickly. Kim and Steve were great hosts. We didn't need anything while at the house or information about the area but felt that they would have been very helpful if we had. We would love to return.

Leaving Montreal in the rain and arriving at Wells with sun in a great place. We love this home because we believe it is at the best section of Wells Beach. We are at the end of Atlantic Ave. at the Jetties. We have a large property consisting of 2 attached townhomes on an acre of dune out to Wells beach so it is very quiet and private where we are, very unusual for the Wells Beach area! We have plenty of parking. We have a small family harbor beach next to our house with no waves very safe for small children and quiet. We have our own private path on our property that leads out to Wells beach and the large beach with waves good for body surfing, surfing, walking etc...The jetty offers excellent opportunity for fishing, we catch fresh striped bass often. Kayaking is great in Wells Harbor too. We often see seals in the harbor from our property!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Quiet large private property with an acre of dune out to the beach. Come in June and see our acre of sea roses and wildflowers in bloom! Many wild birds live in our yard, perfect for birdwatching. Our own private path to the beach. Fishing, kayaking, beachcombing right from our home. Wells harbor is a great place to kayak. You can also ride the waves with the kayaks. We are situated right in between Ogunquit (5 minutes) and Kennebunkport (10 minutes) and a short distance to York and Kittery (great outlet shopping). Portland is about a 35 minute drive and is like a "Little Boston". Amtrak Downeaster train station to Boston and Portland is in Wells. Fully air-conditioned.
