We loved our stay! The beach was perfect for our toddlers, not too rough and the direct access straight from the house was unbeatable.

A beautiful property, just as advertised. Property manager very easy to work with. Great beach. Spectacular view. One suggestion: The stairs to the upper level are VERY steep and may not be safe for elderly renters.

The location of the property was awesome but we found that all the mattresses were painful to sleep on. My husband spent two nights on the sofa in the living room. His side of the 8” mattress in the far bedroom was damaged with a huge hole or bend. It was not made clear that the bathroom was not near the bedrooms. There was a narrow steep & unevenly made staircase that had to be maneuvered during the night. If you are over 50 you will probably find a hotel more comfortable.

We wanted to start off by thanking our guest for recognizing our beachfront location directly on Wells Beach as "awesome." We Appreciate the recognition of our homes front row beach location. To unpack the rest of our guests comments. Starting with the stairs to the second floor. I am almost 60 and my wife is older than me. We have stayed in this unit for many of our trips to Maine. If you are able to utilize stairs, than you can get to the second floor. If you don't do stairs, than a hotel would be a better option. The two beds in our place were purchased around 2018. They are not old and don't have a "bend" (not sure what that means). Many of our returning guests are older than 50 and return each and every summer.

Excellent location! This lovely home was right on the beach; an easy walk to town or to the pier and dunes. A beautiful location to for a morning run on the beach as well as to see the sunrise and even a glimpse of the sunset. A pure delight to not have to worry about parking or lugging stuff down the beach! The interior of the home was mostly clean and a good size for a family of four or five. The couches, cooking pans, towels, and bed in the "main" bedroom (very squeaky and uncomfortable) could use an upgrade along with the shower drain. Also, a very large (and loud) family stayed next door who took over all the outdoor space. However, it didn't damper our stay - we had a great weekend and would be very happy to return for a future visit! We definitely recommend this rental!

Super appreciate the recognition for our homes “Excellent Location!” Our place is directly on Wells Beach. Convenience to the beach couldn’t be better. You definitely can watch the sunrise/sunset over the ocean every day. Our place is also walking distance to Forbes for ice cream and breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as an arcade for the kids and two gift shops. Our sleep sofas on the first floor are both American Leather. Often cited as one of the most comfortable sleeper sofas on the market. All the beds in our place are less than 10 years old. Towels are provided and on the newer side. This close to the beach (beachfront) is very popular. The houses are close. There are neighbors and kids enjoying their vacation. We have a 10;00 pm quiet hour rule to keep it quiet for bedtime. This unit has an oceanfront deck with unobstructed ocean views that is solely for the guests that stay here. We check in with our guests during most stays. Had this guest responded to our check in email, we could have had our plumber down to address the slow shower drain. Nonetheless, we did get him down to the house and shower drains as it should. Glad to hear this guest “definitely recommends this rental” and “would be very happy to return for a future visit”

Great place to stay right on the beach! Beautiful views and had everything we needed. The walls are a little thin between this unit and the one next door, but it wasnt too bad. Definitly take a look outside after dark on a clear night to see all the stars!

The location is spectacular! Right on the beach and close to amenities. The house is older and the walls are pretty thin, so if someone is staying in the adjoining unit, it can be pretty loud.

Appreciate the "Spectacular" description of the location of our home. Waking up to unobstructed views of the sunrise over the Atlantic is special. Also Appreciate the "Right on the beach" compliment. The convenience of being this close to the beach is definitely worth mentioning in a review. Great for families and beach walkers who want to skip crossing streets or packing up the minivan to head down to the beach (from non beach side lodging.) Our home has been nicely updated. Our pictures are recent and depict our home exactly as it is. The house is a side by side two unit (each side has phenomenal ocean views and each side has a deck specifically for the guest on that side). My family and I have stayed at this unit for our week in the summer. We did'nt find our neighbors on the opposite side to be a problem. If your looking for a beachfront property that offers a good price point for this amount of convenience, we are happy to have you as our guests...

Had a wonderful time. Just love being right on the beach. We have been coming up to Maine for the last 29 years and if we can rent a place on the beach we will. And we did and it was very comfortable. We will book again.

The place was clean, spacious and had everything we needed - all kitchen utensils and small appliances, to basic bath items such as hairdryers. The views are phenomenal, and access to the beach doesn't get any easier. The location is ideal, close to the grocery store, restaurants, and yes, the beach. The host and local manager were friendly, gracious and accommodating.
