About this property

Moose Mtn Lodge/Luxury Cabin/Hot Tub/Fireplace

Get away from the hussle and bussle of work and city life. Come where life has slowed down and make this cabin your peaceful retreat. Relax with the whole family in the kitchen or great room with its custom stone wood-burning fireplace. Moose Mountain Lodge is a peaceful place to stay with spectacular views of nearby mountains, Pine & Aspen trees and world-renowned habitat for elk, moose, and deer.

Welcome to Moose Mountain Lodge! This Custom-Built Log Cabin was finished in 2019 and offers every luxury amenity you will need. The Cabin is tucked in a quiet neighborhood giving you a remote feel but is only a 35-minute drive to Breckenridge, an 8 minute drive to Fairplay, and 10 minutes to Alma.

Moose Mountain Lodge was built with old-timey charm from hand-hewn 12` Douglas fur logs. The centerpiece of the great room is an antique bar back from 1910. It was fully restored for this cabin. It also has an antique wagon wheel light fixture in the kitchen that was used in a 1950s John Wayne movie. You will also find an antique brass bed that was manufactured in Chicago in 1905.

The Cabin has a fully equipped Kitchen, a spacious dining table, a beautiful wood-burning stone fireplace, and a steam shower in the Master bedroom. This cabin basement also has a gaming station, an air hockey game, and a 70-inch plasma TV for watching movies or playing games with the family.

Lastly, the kitchen has a nice surprise with a 1930s replica stove that offers all modern amenities. These special features give you a true, old-timey log cabin experience.

Easy access to the hot tub via the basement door offers a beautiful star filled sky. It`s a perfect way to finish a full day of skiing, biking, or hiking.

There are hiking and snow-shoe trails right off the back patio. For your convenience, we have outfitted the cabin with snowshoes and snow toboggans for your family to enjoy. There is also world-class trout fishing all around this area. You can even fish on the back side of the property in the Summer/Fall.

Moose Mountain Lodge is located in the Heart of the Rocky Mountains and is a quick 35-minute drive to Breckenridge, a 45-minute drive to Buena Vista where you will find world-class White-Water Rafting. You are 35 minutes to world-class skiing: Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain and Vail. If you are looking for a quaint ski experience, Monarch Mountain is just a 1:20-minute drive.
There is hiking, mountain biking, and multiple 14er Mountains to conquer just minutes away (Quandary, Mt.Princeton and Mt. Harvard are all a short drive away).
Moose Mountain Lodge lives up to its name as Moose roam this area frequently. You are very likely to see them when you visit the cabin.

Great Stay

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for my birthday. Perfect location for our plans. It snowed a lot and we are from Florida with this being my first time seeing of snow. I would definitely recommend 4x4 vehicle as we had 2 cars stuck in front of the driveway while we were staying if you are planning on staying during the center months.
