Desde el momento en que llegas a la puerta de hierro forjado y entras en el patio circular con su fuente, palmeras y paisajes bien cuidados, hasta el instante en que la vista te deja sin aliento cuando abres la puerta principal y miras a través de la villa, sobre el borde infinito piscina, y hacia el mar azul cristalino, sabrás que elegiste el lugar adecuado para pasar tiempo de calidad con estilo con las personas más cercanas a ti.

Casa de Amigos está situada directamente en la playa del Mar de Cortés en la ciudad de Los Barriles. La villa inmobiliaria fue construida hace unos años y es una de las mejores villas construidas en la zona. Tiene la distinción de ser el único alquiler frente al mar en Los Barriles con una piscina de borde infinito y jacuzzi. Otra característica interesante es que la villa se encuentra a solo dos millas al norte del centro de Los Barriles y el camino a Casa de Amigos está pavimentado en un 99% desde el momento en que sale del aeropuerto y conduce a la villa.

Home away from home!

Wow!! What a gorgeous house ! Plenty of bedrooms all facing ocean , great layout for entertaining , hot tub right on the ocean , great location , well stocked kitchen , bikes and toys . You can watch the sunrise from bed :) Fantástico !!

Beautiful

Great place to stay! The owners returned emails quickly and had a lot of useful information. The property managers were also quick and very helpful. The view is wonderful! Lots of room and well equipped kitchen. Lovely sitting in the hot tub watching flying rays and whales going by. Too cold to enjoy the pool but could see where in warmer weather it would be a delightful asset. Thanks for our beautiful stay!!!

The perfect 10!

As soon as we arrived, opened the front door and looked across the infinity edge pool to the Sea Of Cores we knew we had picked an amazing property to spend time with our family. We had the best time celebrating our 40th birthdays here. Definitely hire Norma the cook! Her meals are incredible and so is she. We had a small Issue with the hot tub, but they jumped right on it. As a fellow vacation property owner, I understand these things can happen. What matters is that they jump on it, and that they did! Highly recommend this place! Great location, view, and communication

excellent spot in Los Barriles

Stayed here for 4 nights early March. Los Barriles was a great antidote to the hustle and bustle of Cabo. The place was beautiful as described, in a nice neighbourhood. Bikes were available to get to Tres Palapas Pickleball resort in a few minutes. We enjoyed access to paddle boards and Kayaks. communication and our check-in was seamless. Recommend a visit to Cabo Pulmo where we were fortunate to see a pair of blue whales up close. The town has a relaxed vibe and we took advantage of lazy daze beach bar more than once. Ideally, we would like the option to heat the pool as it was too cold for us, but a minor point to an otherwise incredible stay. We hope to be back!

Beyond Expectations

My husband and I were blown away by this home. It was absolutely perfect and the view was amazing, we are already planning for our next trip! I highly recommend hiring Norma for food as it was one of the highlights of the trip. Both the homeowner and property manager are wonderful to work with. You can’t go wrong with Casa de Amigos.

Casa de Amigos is absolutely amazing. The property is stunning and the view never gets old! 100% book Norma to cook for you as her meals are amazing and approx $20 per person. We hired her 4 of our 8 nights. We will 100% be coming back!

Amazing!

Photos do not do this house justice. We had split part of trip between this house and the Viceroy in San Lucas.... as soon as we got to the Viceroy we wanted to go back to Casa De Amigos. I look forward to spending much more time here next time.

Beautiful home, well appointed and cared for, great for 2-3 families, appreciated kayaks and SUPs, responsive property manager. For kids, wish the beach was sandy instead of rocky but they loved the pool. Easy access to town.

Great property

It is on the beach, but on a stretch of beach that is mostly rocks at the breakwater, not sand. You will need swim shoes to enter the ocean comfortably. That said, the house is great, landscaping beautiful, and the location is convenient to quickly reach Barriles. Safe, great hot water and WiFi, pool and Jacuzzi are perfect. Would stay again.

Wow. Triumphant Family Holiday!!

Our Holiday stay at Casa de Amigos was a near perfect vacation! The house it remarkable as it overlooks a private beach and the views from every private room is spectacular. It's well maintained and the caretakers were helpful and adorable. What's best about this happy house is there was something for everyone to do. One of my daughters had a lot of work to do all week and she could easily sit outside ---the internet was fabulous--and watch the day go by while working. My sons both learned how to kite surf. My son-in-law fell in love with ATVing on the beach & up the arroyos to waterfalls...we spent hours in the infinity jacuzzi watching the moon rise over the Sea of Cortez. Also, as a family we discovered a new sport: Pickleballing at an upscale club within walking distance from the home. The owners provide a very charming and extensive flyer which smartly answers every question you might have to make the most of your stay. Our only botch was that we did not bring enough snorkeling gear or water shoes...And although there is good snorkeling right off of our beachfront, water shoes are necessary since ---this season--there were a lot of rocks on the beach. Los Barilles is a perfect (and still undiscovered) destination; it's a adorable town with enough delicious restaurants and feels friendly & safe, and is chock full of many adventurous opportunities. And it's less than 1 hour drive from the Cabo Airport where renting a car is a breeze. We are not a resort family, and Los Barilles is a great combination of authentic Mexican beauty and adventure, with all the comforts of an hearty ex-pat community. We feel very fortunate that we got to spend our Holiday at such a beautiful and welcoming spot. Many awesome memories were made there.

Great Stay!

We met some friends at the Cabo Airport and drove up to Casa de Amigos. The drive was simple pleasant. The house was spectacular, exactly as advertised and more! The property manager met us on site upon arrival and was very helpful in getting settled in. The pool was clean and great for the kids and the ocean was very accessible for a quick swim or kayak paddle. The house was clean and the room layout is great. Highly Recommended!

This is a Gorgeous Ocean Front home!

Amazing Ocean Views from Every room in the House! Full bathrooms in every bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen. The beach was right down the stairs, we swam in the ocean every morning in the clear blue warm water. We watched a turtle release right down the beach, where 100's of protected baby turtles were released from hatch to the ocean. The recommended chef came to the house, and cooked a fabulous authentic dinner for 10 of us. We rented the quad to drive around town & popped into all the local bars along the beach. The locals were all very friendly, gracious, and extra thankful that we were there. You may have to stop to let the cows cross the local (non paved) streets on occasion, but you'll be super impressed with this quaint, awesome little gem of a town. This vacation home was the Best we've ever stayed at, we'll definitely be bringing the whole family back!

Wonderful home, wonderful vacation!

This lovely home is perfectly situated to enjoy the beauty of Mexico ! We were met by managers, Ashley and Mario, who gave us a detailed tour of the house and we’re very responsive to our every need. Norma, the fabulous chef, was already preparing our delicious meal. The pool was sparkling and jacuzzi bubbling, guacamole and chips waiting to be devoured!! Wow! Can’t ask for anything else! Bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks were all used right off our beach. And to our delight, a sea turtle came up to the sea wall and laid her eggs while we watched. Sooo cool! Tres Palapas Pickleball Resort was in walking distance, which was why we came to Los Barriles. Don’t sleep in, you’ll miss the magnificent sun rise! The only problem was that we didn’t want to go home!!! But, we will be back !!

Far and away, the best vacation in Mexico ever!

Casa de Amigos and the town of Los Barilles are the perfect combination for an unforgettable vacation in Mexico. Enter the private gated grounds, and prepared to be blown away the moment you open the front door; floor to ceiling glass, looking over a vanishing edge pool above a 180 degree view of the Sea of Cortez....absolutely spectacular! The home's layout is ideal; a huge, well-appointed kitchen blends with open living and dining areas with dual en-suites on either side. The luxurious, oversized master suite on the second level includes a huge wraparound covered patio to enjoy the incredible sunrise, sunset and thousands of bright stars seen every night at this incredible beachfront estate. Every day was an adventure; hours of quad riding along beautiful beaches or scenic arroyos, deep sea fishing excursions just minutes away, and paddle boarding, snorkeling and kayaking right off of your own private beach. You will home exhausted, looking forward to that refreshing jump into the infinity edge pool, and taking in the coastal views as far as the eye can see. The town is quaint and charming, with lots of great restaurants, shops, and places to enjoy the warm and incredible friendly people of Los Barilles. Looking forward to booking my next trip to Los Barilles and Casa de Amigos!

Beachfront Paradise

Our stay at Casa De Amigas was nothing short of amazing. The home itself reflects the beauty of the culture and the ocean views that greet you the moment you walk through the front doors. My husband and I have visited Mexico many times, but this was the first time we decided to stay at a home rather than at a resort. I was initially hesitant due to amenities and security, especially since we were bringing our nine month old with us. But after our stay at this home, I don't think we will ever go back to resort life! We enjoyed the design and cleanliness of the home, being able to walk on the beach right in front of the property, the privacy, and taking dips in the pool without losing sight of all the beauty. Pictures do not do this property justice! My husband loved being able to kayak out for early morning fishing and fishing from the beach without having to walk more than a few steps from the house; and I loved being able to watch him fish from the beach while my son and I stayed poolside. We also explored the cute town of Los Barriles and everyone was so friendly. I appreciate the details provided in the FAQs recommending activities, and, most importantly, the food! The owners’ research was perfect – you can tell they wanted us to feel like we knew exactly what to do. We tried almost every spot suggested, and each one became a new favorite. I’m ready to go back just for Taqueria El Viejo tacos and the beachfront casual dining at El Ghecko! We also enjoyed ATV rides, and, of course, all the margaritas consumed! I think we found our new family vacation spot for years to come! We already can’t wait to go back.

Breathtaking Beauty

April 28 at 10:16 PM There were ten adults and three children and we had plenty of room and were quite comfortable. When entering the main house for the first time I found the views of the infinity pool fading into the sea just breathtaking. There were views from almost every room. There was a casitas, a guest house, that my son and his family stayed in which afforded extra privacy that they enjoyed with their two small children. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We had Norma come and cook for us one night and thoroughly enjoyed her authentic recipes. The chili relleno stuffed with shrimp was my favorite. We had a two family reunion with three generations and there was something for everyone. The pool, the beach with the paddle boards the kayak and there was always fishing. We rented ATV's for the beach and also chartered a fishing boat for some BIG fish. It was very peaceful just reading by the pool and feeling all the stress just melt away. The restaurants in town did not disappoint and we are all determined to visit Casa De Amigos again. Breathtaking

Casa de Amigos was the perfect setting for what became one of our most memorable and fun family vacations. Before our stay even began it was off to a good start! The FAQ for renters was extremely helpful in prepping us on what to pack, who to contact and where to go. The house itself was stunning. Upon opening the front door you are immediately greeted with a sunny blue vista through the three sliding glass doors. In the morning and throughout the day we enjoyed jumping in and out of the pool anytime the temp or humidity got a bit too much. The main room was treated as an extension of the outside patios as we were constantly in and out partaking of the amenities the house had to offer. Paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkeling were the activities we were able to do without even leaving the property. ATVs along the beach and a fishing trip out to sea were the excursions we planned in town, interspersed with sun, surf and margaritas! Once the sun went down we enjoyed the amazing night sky. Little to no light pollution provided an ideal setting for stargazing. To cap off the day everyone was able to retreat, Netflix and chill in their own air conditioned rooms. The incredibly comfortable beds ensured a restful nights sleep. I left my drapes open one night and got to enjoy a brilliant sunrise from the comfort of bed. We took advantage of the suggestion to enjoy one of Norma's home cooked meals. The meal was a glorious welcome to Mexican cuisine. She made a variety of dishes that highlighted traditional dishes and local fresh ingredients. Even those that do not enjoy flan were hard pressed to resist Norma's flan! Besides the home cooked meal we visited many of the recommended places to eat out. Campestre Triny, El Gecko's, Tio Pablos, Roadrunner Cafe and the taco stand Taqueria el Viejo were places we went back to repeatedly. The grocery store was easy to stop and shop at as they accepted pesos or dollars. In fact almost everywhere we went quoted prices in both denominations. I really can't say enough about how much fun we had at Casa de Amigos. Everything about the house, from the decor to the wifi, is designed to make you feel like you are getting away from it all but still have access to the comforts of home. Three generations of family had time and space to hang out and enjoy each other's company, it was a dream vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

A Fantastic Home Right on the Beach - Paradise!

Casa De Amigos is Paradise! What a spectacular home! What a wonderful find! Casa De Amigos is an amazing property – when we drove up to the gate and saw the spacious house and the beautiful grounds I knew we would be safe in this paradise. The home was welcoming with high ceilings and lots of windows – bringing the warmth and sunshine of the perfect weather into the interior. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was better equipped than mine at home! It is obvious the host is meticulous about the condition of the property and making certain that his guests are truly taken care of. My favorite part of Casa De Amigos was the large patio area, the infinity pool and the hot tub – which was the perfect place to relax after a full day out in the sun. An amazing 5 days

We had an amazing time at Casa De Amigos. It was the perfect distance from town. The house functioned great for us and the Casita was perfect for overflow. It is a very peaceful setting and just a short drive to town. We would definitely go back. Colter

Perfect Girls' Getaway

Our week at Casa de Amigos was perfect in every way. From the beautiful decor inside, to the lovely landscaping and infinity pool/hot tub... it was paradise in every way! Our week was a combination of all types of adventures, and this house was a perfect place to return and relax after a long day of taking in all the sightseeing that the area has to offer. Every morning, we would wake up to the stunning view of the sunrise over the ocean; it felt like a personal getaway. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and there is a well accommodated kitchen, with everything we needed to cook several meals. I couldn't recommend this house enough to any kind of vacationers-- you will be blown away when you walk through the door.

We have a deep love for the ocean and always wanted to build a house in Baja on the water. When we came upon the community of Los Barriles we knew we found a special spot and purchased our lot in 1995. We finished the villa in 2001 (do you ever really finish?) and have been enjoying our Casa ever since. We then set our sights on Santa Cruz California and built a home on the ocean just shouth of the harbor on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach with epic surfuing spots very close by. We enjoy sharing both homes so check them out on VRBO. ENJOY!

Casa De Amigos is the only beach front, on the sand villa with infinity edge pool and Jacuzzi. The Sea of Cortez in front of the villa is very swimmer friendly and has one of the best snorkeling reefs in the area. Casa De Amigos is located in a development called Santa Maria which is the premier development of Los Barriles located only 2 miles north of downtown Los Barilles.
