The queen bedroom beckons with its cozy ambiance and offers it's own TV. Relax on the expansive main-level deck, and make use of the gas grill for outdoor cooking experiences.

Retreat to the upper level and discover a king suite that offers privacy, large Smart TV and an updated bath with a luxurious tiled shower.

The lower level features a game room complete with a pool table, as well as a covered deck that’s home to a four-person hot tub.

Cabin rental 2030 Luzerne Dr, Gatlinburg, TN 37738 Mountain Laurel Chalets 865-324-0609.

Over all was a wonderful time. Nice place but needs tile in bathroom fixed. I also seen one roach in the kitchen but it was the only one I seen. The instructions for the hot tub worried me so we didn’t use it. Was wonderful view and very clean and well maintained. Would consider using them again.

Everything We Were Looking For

The view was absolutely beautiful. We had neighbors but they were not that close at all. We even had a welcoming party when we first got there. We had a bear come up onto the porch when we first got there. The air conditioner froze up one night and they were quick to respond and fix it. They even came back the next day to make sure it was working and it was fixed. I will be staying at this property from now on.

We booked "Above Laurelwood" for 2 nights and have never been so impressed with a cabin, it's views and the company (Mt Laurel Chalets). The pictures do not do the balcony justice! Amazing. Far exceeded our expectations! The cabin was clean and lacked nothing as far as equipment and basic needs. The available clubhouses/pools were a very nice bonus. We will be staying with Mt. Laurel Chalets (and Above Laurelwood) from now on!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is showing it's age but it was clean. The property mgmt staff were great. We exchanged towels on day three with no problem. The upstairs shower where the king size bed is located is extremely small and you have to keep the upstairs bedroom door closed and the ceiling fan on high inorder to cool it off in the summer. The bed was comfortable. When at the cabin we spent most of our time on the deck, nice chairs and view. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Keep your doors locked on your vehicle. We didn't have any food inside but went to the grocery store on day one. A bear must have been able to smell the groceries from earlier that day. We had bear paw prints on the windows and doors from it trying to get inside but no damage to the outside of our truck. They never returned after day one that we know of. Over all we enjoyed the cabin and don't have any complaints. It rained several times but there's enough roof over hang allowing us to sit outside and watch it rain. Note: The cabin needs a toaster.

Reviewer Comments: A last minute change of plans the week before our planned July 4th vacation, led us to start looking for a place to stay in the mountains. I did not have hope that we would find availability with all the options we desired. This cabin did a pretty great job. It is not the newest cabin on the mountain but it was clean, private, charming and has a great deck with a view. We spent many hours outside enjoying coffee in the mornings, naps in the afternoon and stargazing at night. Again nothing fancy, but super great for the price.

First time at this cabin

Upon entering the cabin we noticed both beds hadn’t been stripped and made and there were dirty towels in both bathrooms. Called the after hours number and the person I spoke with was very nice and got someone out right away to fix the issue. Other than that the cabin was excellent. Our first morning there we had a bear cub on our deck and got great photos. It’s a beautiful place and located in an excellent location. Would definitely stay again.

As noted in other reviews, there were very minor "cosmetic" issues(overhead den and hot tub lights didn't work) but that did not distract from the bigger picture- the PHENOMENAL views and our overall FABULOUS experience. You can see the tram going up and down the mountain from the huge covered balcony as well as from the hot tub. Pam in the rental office is great to work with!! This is our second stay with Mountain Laurel Chalets and will ONLY book cabins through them in the future.

Above Laurelwood Review

We had a wonderful time at Above Laurelwood. The cabin was clean, in a wonderful location & had perfect views. The cabin is truly a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath because the upstairs shower was so small that our children didn’t even fit in there well. Also- the pictures are slightly deceiving in terms of the general space you have. Our visit consisted of me, my husband and our 2 children ages 5 & 8 and we were maxed out in the cabin. Perfect if you plan on spending time outside of the home and need a nice, clean place to sleep at night. Overall, it was a wonderful home that was clean & cozy for our family of 4. We would definitely use the cabin again if we visit Gatlinburg, TN!

Too many issues to list but I did contact the office. I fully expected them to offer me a replacement chalet but did not do so. They offered to send a maintenance person up but this would not have resolved all of the issues during my stay. I sincerely doubt I will book a chalet via Mountain Laurel again. My past dozen or so rentals were fine.

Perfect cabin!

Location was amazing, 5 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Cabin had an amazing view from patio rocking chairs. Pool table and hot tub were a huge hit at nighttime for the family. Highly recommend and will be back again!

Mountain Laurel Chalets

Cabin was dirty, with dust and spider webs around. Some light bulbs were out making nighttime lighting a challenge. Upstairs bed was very comfy, shower is small but a very good water flow. Too many bears in the area, one came onto the walkway coming into the cabin. Pool cues downstairs were in need of repair, pool table not level. However it was fun anyway. Probably would not go back to that particular cabin.

Wow what views!

If you are looking for a nice spot to live in the tree's and enjoy the beautiful views and scenery, this place it ! Comfortable home, everything you could need to get away from it all, including the perfectly located hottub on lower porch (we almost forgot about it!) The house was nice and warm when we arrived too, which was a nice touch! Thank you for having us! Amy&Steve

We were out of propane and missing ceiling lights in the living room. Put a strip gauge on the tank so that maintenance personnel can determine when to refill the tank. Finally, have someone do a quality control check to ensure that everything is working properly.
