The property was clean with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space. The bathrooms were clean and super nice. The property also had a great view of the mountains and the Sapphire location was easy to drive to. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a quiet and easy stay in the area.

Enjoyed the condo. Very well laid out for family and kids privacy. Bedding clean and comfy. Nice location. Close to everything. Would book again! Grandkids loved it!
Our stay at this charming townhouse in Sapphire Valley exceeded all expectations. Communication with the owner was excellent, and the home's location was ideal—conveniently close to nearby attractions. We took full advantage of the community amenities, including the gym, pool, and dog park. The cost of the guest passes was very reasonable considering the quality and variety of facilities available. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, and the home itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and extremely comfortable. Each evening, we enjoyed stunning sunsets from the deck—a perfect way to unwind. This immaculate home is perfect for both couples and families. I highly recommend it.
The property was well-maintained, well stocked and very comfortable. Only issue we had was the ability to get the amenity card. Was not as smooth as it should have been.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Our goal was to create a well stocked, home away from home for our guests. I am sorry to hear that staff were not easily able to issue your passes. Our last name is often misspelled and wonder if they keyed it incorrectly. As recommended, we have added the 6 digit amenity code to check in instructions in hopes of smoothing the process. We would also like to extend the 10% return guest discount if you are up this way again. Thanks for choosing Sapphire Mountain View Escape!
Lovely home in a lovely area. Kids enjoyed the resort amenities that were fairly close by. Beautiful mountain view and sunset view. Loft bedroom is quite small with queen and bunks (great for small kids though) and took a little extra effort to keep at a cool temp, but I had 2 teenage noys in that room. It does have a half bath which was nice. Very quiet neighborhood and townhome. Vrbo listed checkout as 11am, flyer in the home said 10 which I noticed as we were following checkout instructions. I believe it was intended to be 10 since the cleaning staff was waiting for me to leave when I packed the car at 10:15. Amenities very reasonably priced and nothing was very crowded. I would love to return.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your time in Sapphire. Escaping the heat & humidity is also why we love the area. Please accept our apologies for the confusion regarding check out time. VRBO ensures us that when booking and sending house info that the in-4pm/out-10am is stated, but for unknown reason cannot correct it on the traveler's site. I hope they will correct this soon. These times are just to ensure that our excellent cleaning crew has time to wash every item of bedding and towels, especially with same day turn overs. We would love to host you again. Please reach out and we will offer a 10% repeat guest discount. Thanks so much, The Vollertsens
The home was very nice and the bedroom setup was nice with one bedroom on first floor and the other one downstairs. Kitchen was well equipped except we purchased place mats and coasters. There was also a bad smell coming from the drawer that had the silverware. We took everything out and cleaned it but to no resolve. Also, someone in the neighborhood left a pile of trash in front of the garbage cans. It was there for weeks and other people contributed to the pile of trash which then brought a bear. We were without water for 12 hours but were not given advanced warning. The owners were made aware but didn’t tell us until we called them. One day the battery in the lock on the door was going dead and the owner did not have a replacement battery. Thank goodness we could take one out of one of our accessories until we could get new batteries.

We are so happy that you found our property well-equipped and comfortable during your 5 week stay. It is our goal to provide a home away from home in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. I am sorry you did not notice the low-battery alert on the door, but there is no fear of being locked out, as we have a physical lockbox as a backup and local team that will change batteries. No guest before or after has ever mentioned an odor from a drawer. We were also at the property recently and did not find this to be the case. I can only imagine that the kitchen trash needed to be taken out. Our apologies for inconveniences experienced out of our control - renovation debris left by crew from several properties away and NC utility company working on a water main break. My husband did send you information about the water as soon as we were alerted and he also contacted the master association to have the debris removed as soon as you brought it to our attention. I sure hope that you and your guest were able to get out and explore nature, fall festivals, restaurants and shops. Your stay was during one of the most beautiful times of year in WNC.
I can't say enough about our recent stay at the property we rented in Cashiers, NC! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and serene surroundings. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this property offered the perfect blend of charm and modern comfort.
The rental itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The spacious living area, with its cozy fireplace and large windows, provided stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. We loved dining on the deck, taking in the fresh mountain air and panoramic views.
The bedrooms were luxurious and inviting, with nice bedding and plenty of space to unwind. The master suite, in particular, was a highlight, featuring a private balcony and a large bathroom that made us feel like we were staying in a five-star hotel.
One of the best parts of this property was its proximity to nature. We had easy access to numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, and outdoor activities. It was a delight to explore the picturesque surroundings, and we even spotted some local wildlife.
The property owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Simply said, WE LOVED IT!!!
