We completely understand that an earlier check-in can make travel days easier. To accommodate guaranteed early check-in, our staff must begin work 3–4 hours earlier than scheduled, and the small fee of simply helps cover that additional labor cost. Whenever our schedule allows and the unit is ready ahead of time, we’re always happy to offer early access when possible. Dear Theresa, Thanks for visiting! We wish you had contacted us about your patio issues as we would have gladly sent someone back to you. We do not clean patio rails regularly, but would have accommodated you. Many resorts on the West end have parking across the street with a crossover and sorry you did not like it. I’m truly sorry that your stay did not meet expectations, especially after choosing our condo based on previous positive reviews and your love for this side of PCB. For certain items such as appliances, we do rely on guests to let us know if something is not functioning properly, as housekeeping and staff do not routinely operate the dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, etc., during turnover. That said, the cleanliness concerns you described — particularly regarding the dishes, washing machine odor, sleeper sofa, and overall condition of surfaces — should never have occurred. That is not the standard we expect for our guests, and I sincerely apologize that this was your experience. When our property manager offered to send housekeeping and maintenance, it was in an effort to correct the issues immediately and make your stay more pleasant. I completely understand your hesitation to have additional people in the unit once you were settled with your belongings, but I truly wish we had been able to resolve those concerns for you at the time. Please know your feedback has been taken seriously. We are addressing these matters directly with both housekeeping and maintenance, and reinforcing our inspection procedures to ensure this does not happen again. I’m also sorry to hear about your experience with the resort’s common areas and pool rule enforcement. While those areas are managed by the HOA and not individual owners, that does not lessen your frustration — especially when it affected your children’s safety and enjoyment. We have forwarded your comments to the resort management so they are aware of the concerns. We genuinely want every family who stays with us to have a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. Your comments are not taken lightly, and we truly appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention so they can be corrected. Again, I’m very sorry for the disappointment you experienced. I do hope that, despite everything that occurred, you were still able to enjoy our beautiful beaches and your time in PCB.

I’m truly glad to hear that you enjoyed Splash Resort itself — the beach location, the pools, and the convenience of the jet ski rentals. It’s wonderful to know those parts of your trip were memorable and enjoyable. I’m very sorry, however, that your experience with the condo and check-in process was disappointing. The registration desk and elevator operations are managed by the resort, not individual condo owners, but I absolutely understand how frustrating it must have been to wait after a long travel day — especially when the interaction felt unwelcoming. We will be sure to pass your comments along to resort management, as the arrival experience is so important. Regarding the washer, front-loading machines do require the door to be left open between uses to prevent moisture buildup and odor. We do ask guests to leave the washer door open for this reason, but we understand that this can sometimes be overlooked. Thank you for bringing this to our attention — we will review and address the washer seal to ensure it is properly cleaned and maintained. We also appreciate you pointing out the other maintenance concerns. Your feedback helps us identify areas that need attention so we can make improvements for future guests. I’m sorry we did not deliver the experience you expected in this unit.
