Tranquil Tahoe Retreat is a 2 bedroom (3 beds), 1 bath cabin that is close to Palisades Tahoe, Alpine, Northstar, Sugar Bowl and Old Town in Truckee, CA. The cabin is nestled under 300' firs and situated at 6500 elev; great for couples, friends, and solo adventurers. Well-provisioned kitchen, driveway parking for 2-3 vehicles, wood stove, central heat, snowplowing & Tahoe Donner recreation guest pass included. High-Speed Internet, HDTV, easy access, and only 10 min to shopping and dining out.

ABOUT THE CABIN
Stunning views and very quiet, unique, cozy home, with all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. Cabin with pine ceilings, large living room, sofa, lounging chair, wood-burning stove (heats whole house), HDTV, Hi-speed Internet, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen, one full bath, laundry, linens included, two decks, and driveway parking.

Beds:
Master bedroom with King bed and large closet, as well as French doors to access the front patio.

2nd bedroom with Queen bed and desk that tucks away if not needed. The closet has hanging storage and a dresser.

The sofa is a full-sized pull-out couch.

Kitchen:
Abundant table seating for 8 people and 4 barstools.

We provide guest passes, which give you access & discounts on Tahoe Donner Resort amenities including a downhill ski, cross-country ski area, gym, pools, golf, sledding hill, tennis and more (see more info on Tahoe Donner amenities below).

Each stay includes Tahoe Donner Amenity Access GUEST Cards which Offer You A Discount On Day Ski Passes To Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area! These same passes gain you access to Trout Creek Recreation Center (Gym / Pool / Hot Tub / Sauna / Ping Pong), and the Private East End of Donner Lake Beach. HOA Amenity Entry to Trout Creek and/or Private East End of Donner Lake is $16/person/day/site payable onsite. One payment, and you have access All Day. Next to Trout Creek Rec Center is our favorite restaurant "The Lodge", and directly next to that is Z Market (Convenience Store).

GUEST ACCESS
Full Access as it is one story. Enter through the mud room facing the garage.
You will not have access to the separate detached garage which we use for storage when we're not in Truckee.

Unlike a lot of homes in Truckee, this home has a flat street, driveway, and EASY entryway, *without* a huge flight of stairs leading up to the home. This allows simple access year round without having to shovel stairs to get into the home, or haul groceries up big flights of stairs.

Winter in Tahoe is icy and snowy! Strongly recommend AWD vehicles during winter months, and keeping an eye on the weather.

The street and driveway both get plowed. The driveway accomodates 3 cars.
