The location, the view, the parking, & the amenities couldn’t have been better. Very very comfortable. The location made it very easy to do & see everything we wanted. So glad we chose the south shore & this property. I hope to be able to stay here again on our next trip here. Received great info & instructions prior to arrival which was highly beneficial. The listing is deceiving. Claims there is AC which is a non negotiable for us and it only had a mini split which only cooled the bedroom. Was hot in the rest of the unit. The view was beautiful and the bed comfortable but for 350 a night we would have kept looking. The move in directions didn’t have the unit number so had to call the management company for that. Messaged the host a direct question on suggestions to go for anniversary and was ignored. Had the bare minimum. Broken umbrella and 3/4 fins for snorkeling. Grateful the view didn’t disappoint.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the beautiful oceanfront view and found the bed comfortable. Regarding the air conditioning, the condo description accurately states that the unit has AC in the bedroom. In Kauai, many oceanfront condos traditionally relied on trade winds and fans for cooling, and for many years, our condo was comfortably cooled that way as well. We installed the AC primarily for the warmer summer periods, and instructions are provided in the welcome information explaining how to best circulate the cool air throughout the condo. The unit number is included in the check-in instructions as well as in the signature line of our emails, so I’m sorry if that was overlooked during arrival. We also regret that you felt unsupported regarding anniversary recommendations. We always strive to respond promptly and provide a wonderful experience for our guests. Regarding the snorkeling equipment, we do not advertise or supply snorkeling gear, and this is noted in our information materials. Because everyone requires different sizes and properly fitting equipment is important for both comfort and safety, we recommend renting gear from one of the many nearby rental shops. Any items found in the condo were most likely left behind by previous guests. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your thoughts.

The condo is as described. The AC was appreciated in the bedroom and cooled off nicely. We made good use of the snorkeling items in the closet. Before you buy a cooler the condo has a small and larger one to use along with chairs and umbrellas. It was relaxing to sit on the lanai and watch the turtles poke their heads up. Many used the cove to snorkel and scuba dive. It a perfect location to view the sunset just around the corner of the building. Thanks for a great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is located in a great part of Poipu and close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The condo is very well kept and clean. Killer location!

We had a great stay at Kuhio Shores. Closet had 4 beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and hats. Kitchen had everything we needed including a little rice cooker and kettle. Great morning views from the lanai, quick walk to Beach House and Lawai Beach for snorkeling. Building is older Hawaiian style so it is comfy and quiet instead of glossy like a big new resort.
