Tofte Trails is situated on 17 beautifully forested acres overlooking Lake Superior. The property is manicured with 20 additional trees (Bonny Blues, Moonglow Junipers, and Eastern Red Cedars) and Minnesota native's are planted around the cabins that bloom throughout Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter is full of endless adventure and activity with neighboring cross country ski, snowshoeing and altai ski trails at Sugarbush Trail system. Lutsen Mountains is a 5 minute drive away offering downhill skiing and snowboarding upon a Lake Superior backdrop. Of course you cannot beat summer on the North Shore. Adventure out on Onion River Road and hike to the top of Oberg Mountain complete with stunning valley views and an overlook of Lake Superior. Come back to your cabin and sit out on your private patio and relax with a good book, build a fire in your smokeless Solo Stove or simply breathe in the 360 degrees of nature around you and allow yourself deep rejuvenation in a forest bathing atmosphere.
